  1. Yeh, it really is depressing. There are a hell of a lot of stupid kids out there. Im only 16 myself, and a lot of my mates play. When out training and start talking to people, whenever the conversation gets round to 'how old are you', and I say 16, they all react the same; 'Yeh right, thats what 8 year olds say when they are trying to act big' Its really getting quite frustrating!! These kids do need a good [wagon] kickin sometime. As for calling 'mature' players sad, thats rubbish. If it weren't for older players, RS economy would grind to a halt, prices would remain static, and events like the Santa Hat fiasco would become much more common. Kids know nothing about keeping an economy healthy, I would be the first to admit that!! SO after my little rant, that didnt really seem to go anywhere, (troublesome) kids should be taught some respect!! I fully support a geriatrics clan if it means ure gonna kick some kids into shape!
  2. yeh, nice idea. There are still a couple of problems though. Noobs will complain. This is exactly what happened with the rares, which is why jagex got annoyed and just stopped doing them. If they do make high level Worlds, they will become absolutely RAMMED with people training, or people just trying to get away from lower level players. This is likely to outweigh the benefits of not being around lower level players. Also, I believe Jagex would probably not want this kind of segregation, as it would upset the balance of things. I remember that when I was what you would call a noob (newb), I was helped along the way, given advice and tips and money, by countless high level players. I doubt I would have got very far without this advice, and it is for thisreason I doubt that high level worlds would work. Guilds to give high level players advantages are one things, but totally secluding newbs from them? Thats kinda harsh :?

  5. OK, I have had Terragen for ages, and afte I posted my first few landscapes, Nad said to get World Machine. The Problem is, I dont have a clue how to use it!! I have tried and tried, but I really cant figure it out. Does anyone know of a tutorial for it anywhere. If there isn't one, I dont suppose anyone could be bothered to write me one!? Please! Cheers Guys

    hey, i need some help first off, what style could I call these sigs?==> I though the first was like a tech sig, and the secondgrunge, but from tho comment I got from K0M0D0 in market, aparently not... Second off, what do you think of them, what can I do to improve them? Thirdly off, does anyone know how to make a decent border in Photoshop Elements? Cos thats the program I have, and the effects on it are rubbish, you can't modify them and there are only set effects you can do. So a border with no effects would be good :D Any Comments on any of the above would be really helpful, but be nice! :lol: Thanks very much

  9. yup, i agree. You need to read as many tutorialss as you can, try to vary them, so some from effects, colouring etc. cos then it will cover a wide variety of things. If for example you only ever read grunge sig tuts, when you come to make ure own sigs up and somethin dont look quite right, you robably wont know what to do, cos grunge sig tuts wont have gone into that part of it, so read other tuts so as to get a wider variety of skills so you can cross them. But yeh, read tuts, lots of them, and then try makin ure own up is the best way. Try crossing methods you see in different tuts, and just generally play around. Remember, there are no rules, its just whatever you like, or whatever looks good, go for it! good luck
  10. its pretty good... is that a photo of jet lee or not? i dunno if you want cc, but to improve you could add texture or shading to the text (nice font btw), and add either a background or a more interesting abstract. Also, what is with the random spotlight!?

Problem s, Humans are easy cos you can stand in the poistion that you want your char in and see where everything is in relation to other parts of your anatomy, but actually designing an anatomy...:S I think I might just kinda put the head and front leg on, and have him like mainly off the page

He is supposed to be facing kind of liek, diagonally to the right (on the picture)and down, about to hit something, probably with like a club in his hand, I aint decided, so that is why his left side is stretched a bit, and the back leg is short. But yeh, i suppose it is a bit extreme. And Godslayer, you say people dont post if they are not interested in it. As you posted and said nothing about the model, does that mean to say your interest is putting people down?

    Hi, well, I'm making a pixel sig, maybe for myself, maybe to sell, but at the moment, I'm not that good. I wondered if if I posted it at different stages, people could give CC on it, before I get too far and have to go back and change loads. Soooo, well, this is just the outline, but is there any body position or anything that looks wrong? Cheers Guys :D

  20. urm, not just yet I dont think. I'm no expert at pixel sigs. but I think you need a bit more pracitice. Your main weakness is shaping. Whilst the shaping an position of your first dude is really good, the two that follow are pretty bad. On the zammy guy, hi right arm and left leg both need to be bent more, the top part of his upper body thinner, and his waist fatter. you also need to try to incorporate the turn of his body somehow, by not showing the right shoulder as much, and generally turning the perspective of his upper body. I'm sorry if this sounds a lot of work, but it is! However, this is what you need to do to make this guy better. I think his face could also be improved, more detail etc. Your last one has a good background, except for the sky, it needs to be a constant gradient if you can... but otherwise yeh, its good. I just think you need more experience at pixel sigs before you open a shop

  23. Oky doke, done a quick change on colours only (with some lighting) any improvement you reckon? it aint animated yet, I'll do that when I figure out what I actually wanna do with it...
  24. i think you should at last try to make a sig ofit, it wouldn't take much effort at all, and if it dont look good, what have you lost? 15 minutes? anyways, up to you...
