  1. photoshop elements (cringe!)
  2. photoshop elements (cringe!)
  3. *sighs* they are the problems, not what you can actuall do about it... such as how do you make the lens flare look real or make the debris look more real?...
  4. pretty good so far, I think you need to work on the shading and stuff. Check out a few of the tutorials posted on a sticky in this frum, there is a good one that shows Quer Skulls sig being made. Its about using slightly different shades to add texture and shading to your work, and it makes it look about 50 times better (thus selling for 50 times more
  5. axe, can you actually give useful CC, as in what is needed to improve it?
  6. yeh, but what the hell is a cloud filter...?
  7. yeh, any suggestions on what to put in the middle (or anywhere, just to make it look a bit fuller)? I been thinking, but I cant come up with anything
  8. pretty dam good. I dunno if you actually want CC, but if you do, I would say get rid of the bits flying off the rock thing in the middle, they don't really look like they serv a purpose... also, what is the top half of the pic, is it a large planet or what? cos if it is, it looks like its got 2 surfaces!? I think it would look better if it was just one solid surface, but its up to you... overall though, nice work :D
  9. yeh, some nice shooting. Personally I prefer the 800 x 598 (2nd one). In photoshop you could einther darken the bottom to get a complete sillouette or lighten it to show a bit of detail, I dunno which would look bast without doing it. To turn this one into a sig, you obviously need to make it more rectangular rather than square shaped (i know, i know, a square technically is a rectangle) But it would be a pretty good sig even if you just put text on that I think (perhaps animate text?) To get it more to a 1:1.6 dimension (which is what most people prefer) you can either strach it or crop it. If you're gonna crop it, I would suggest keeping nearlly all of the sky and cropping away some of the foreground These are just my opinions, I can't really say what other people like best...
  10. c'mon guys, a load of views but no CC!!
  11. Right, just finished an animation sig, and I feel it has something somehow lacking, but can't for the life of me figure out what!! any CC anyone?
  12. c'mon, someone must know!!
  13. I have recently egun to do animations with something called Microsoft GIF animator which was the only free one I could find!! However, when save it, it is about 800 kb, too big for a sig Anyone got any ideas on how to lower its size? It is about 25 frames thanks
  14. Hi guys I just started using Terragen to mess about with, and came up with the following after a fair few hours work. I know they say don't post your first attempts, but I thought some of these were pretty good. Any C/C? By the way, if anyone could tell me a few more free 3D Modelling or Landscaping programs, tht would be much appreciated! At present I only have Terragen, Truespace and Blender (which I have yet to figure out how the hell to use it!!) Thanks a lot Im not sure about this one. I've had some positive feedback, but I really dont know how it will go down. Views please! (above) This is one of my favourites. (above) Thanks everyone!
  15. urm, problem!! When I render it, it only renders the background!! When I press 0 to look through camera, the shapes are in the rectangle, but they dont appear on the render! Help!!!
  16. hmm, good idea mining through a dragon an all  , but maybe a little too farfetched?
