I gave him a good deal, free land and IAG. His offer was fair but it was just unacceptable due to what I would get in return for the contract requires me to have that land. Also being a king of a land, you're generally annoyed when you don't get your way, as kings normally have a god complex anyway. And that makes no difference to me Retech, I may not be their closest ally but the Mongols don't HATE me as much as they do Kiev, Rocco is probably safe too.

It wont be hard for France to shift back, we probably still have some heavy believers amongst our ranks cause there was no punishment for believing in Christianity, and infact it was never abolished, I just changed the state religion :P.

Uhhh they were just small explosives used for fear. No cannons. I'm not even researching them anymore. I know what I'm going to spend my next budget reset on, it wont all be 100% military!. I begin research on the weather, to reduce the chances of us sailing during a storm or such. My navy research is ongoing to improve cogs so they crash less and can transport more. There are talks of France of a navy school opening up so that captains of vessels now how to deal with ships properly. I'm going to try reduce the chance of freak natural accidents by as much as possible. Also @Nex I'd rather use them as a trading nation, as it would be good for the economy and they seem the best to trade with and the hardest to conquer.

Mehhh, also I don't think China and Sri Lanka have any relations. If they do I just freakin give up on Asia all together. Also MY PLANS NEVER INVOLVED WHAT HAPPENED. So it wasn't me being a bad general, it was a stroke of bad luck.

Uhhh actually the sea was rather kind to me. Compared to how many I lost during the trek on land. So sea = better so far. Seems like I might need to attack Subutai, but I like Subutai :( Edit Sri Lanka is an island, sea is neccessary.

Did I roll like a 5 on the RNG or something O_O? Almost half of the army there was killed by nature, I'm going to have to retreat, but if I do that the rest of my forces will just get owned by mother nature again O-o.

Well that was midly unexpected. I knew it would be harsh but Jesus O_O. Personally from my plan I expected this. Huge military parade showing that France wants peace between Sri Lanka and France and that we hope that we could form a strong alliance between our new happily married couple. As the parade carries on through to the capital, the army would turn on the despot, murder him, we'd then hold the capital. Sri Lankan army moves into take out the French forces and then my reserve move in to flank and we sandwhich em. Oh well win some lose some. This war will be harder than expected and I'm thinking it might just be easier to just stay in Europe, did we actually kill anyone?
