The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
So basically slightly improved versions of rocket launchers, rifles, and pistols?

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
I think someone has lost his touch with reality. :P (Not to ruin your fun, but the emporer lives in Kyoto ) ---- So are the particle guns like rifle size or cannon size to destroy any tank?
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
How big is the standard particle gun that you're describing? ----- Oh, P-Jets don't exist! Hooray! So Doom, do you still want to continue the project for its other uses? Maybe we should cut the funding down to 5 billion each?

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Well...err...that was interesting. -------- Current Japanese GDP is 11.19 trillion (rounding from the calculator) as of the end of this year (2018). Money Distributed Total Budget: 111 billion Project Monarch Butterfly: 80 Billion Project Coccoon: 10 Billion Joint Project with Brazil: 10 billion 10 billion for random stuff

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Well he'd have to start over again, but I suppose so.

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
The thing is that you cannot afford all these things! It's not about the technology. Basically you're spending 55 billion a year using a 300 billion dollar economy. That is definitely not sustainable. That reminds me, when is the technology finished Dusty?

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
It's true Napolean was powerful, but France was already powerful. It's not like Luxembourg decided to take on all of Europe with their nationhood.

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
I'm going to have to disagree with you Archi. If you're correct, then don't you think the entire world would've switched to that system a long time ago? If people could maintain their quality of life, help their government, and not care about the outside world?

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Okay, current Japan GDP: 10 trillion+ GDP of Switzerland as of 2009: 315 Billion 1% of each Japan: 100 Billion Switzerland: 3 billion Estimated cost of Archi's P-Jet according to Archi: 5 billion Estimated cost of each of Archi's research: 10 billion per year X 5 researches = 50 billion per year 50 billion divided by 3 billion = 15.33333333 Therefore Archi is overpowering his economy by 15 times according to his raw materials system. This is excluding the cost of his 12 or so P-Jets.

5% increase for seven years, then 3% increase after that? My GDP never grew that much. It was just added onto. Switzerland would need to multiply its economy fifteen times in order to afford the same amount of stuff that it has been doing. Isn't the military always supposed to be like that?

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Going one line at a time. 1. No problem with that 2. Everyone else is working on them, so it should be far shorter. 3. Orbital system perpetually looks outwards, it can't fire at Earth. Also, I'm concerned because you have the third largest budget in essentially the whole game, after US and Japan, while having a wittle bitty economy that couldn't sustain anything like that. 4. Raw Materials is game breaking. 5. That's not how the UN was set up.
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Well I guess it would be illegal in a sense because you disapprove of it, but I believe the rest of the UN has already signed on to it. I'll just wait for UN approval (Sere's) before I go ahead with that.
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
It would be the global defence network, which I believe was passed? It's not just the orbital defence thing that all the players countrol. This is literally the global defence network, administered and controlled by the UN, with all these scientists from different countries working on it. Meanwhile, blowing it up or "removing it" would be illegal.
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
This is a seperate motion. That's why I said Japan moves to, rather than moved. Meanwhile, Japan asks Brazil, Germany, the SR, the Federation, Turkey, China, and other player controlled powers to work with it to develop the orbital defence system, which would point outwards away from Earth.
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Well you threatened to blow up any orbital defences the UN put up, which is not very isolationist for Switzerland. Here's the post:
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
It was called off? Japan moves to reinstate the sanctions, unless Switzerland allows the UN to put up its global defence network as the sole orbital weaponary.
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Wasn't there a sanction that was placed on Switzerland ages ago, back when you tried to dam the Suez Canal? I was referring to that one.
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Well I supposed there are other ways. After all, the sanctions have already been passed...They just need to be enforced! -brain wave-
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
I just realized Russia is on the security council, so it probaly won't get passed. -.-
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Well the security council is made primarily of players, so hopefully it'll go through quickly. If not, then there's always that vote from ealier about the GDP, which would also fix the problem.
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Well you were talking about the prosperity sphere thing, and I immediately thought of the USSR. Anyways... Japan moves to block trade between Abbysnia and Switzerland, citing the sanctions on Switzerland due to the chemical warfare incident. The effort is being made to push the bill through the security council, and the general assembly. (What do the other members of the security council think?)
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
That's not true Archi. I don't believe you had announced that you were annexing, taking over, controlling directly, installing a new government, or whatever in Abbysnia. Shouldn't the count start today? I'm pretty sure most people were under the impression that you were manipulating them as a puppet state, and nothing more. The USSR example was basically about "taking over a country" without actually taking them over.
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Well since you've just begun, then you need to wait for 5 days until it joins your little group. I basically formed the USSR of the Pacific, except they preserve their cultures and ideals and stuff. Oh, and they didn't become Communist. That's a big one.
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
According to my figures, that's 12.8 billion. 400 tonnes of gold at about 32 million each tonne?
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
I'll try to respond in bullets. 1. Abbysnia can't supply more than 5 P-Jets worth of supplies each year? What? 2. I don't even think P-Jets are possible, but instead of arguing for an equally unfair technology, I am simply making it impossible for it to be argued against. Either P-Jets are banned all together (I want that) or I have P-Jets, which would negate their advantage, which is also fine with me. 3. What game rules? 4. You're expanding your GDP at billions of percents. Wouldn't that just cause your economy to go into a major recession?
