Japan must contest those elections as well! Italy looks at its neighbors Germany-France and sees the ridiculously cheap gasoline provided by the Japanese.

I have virtually no anti-spy program what so ever. It's just that every problem that comes from a country, I put a tally mark. Then after a certain point, I put restrictions on that country. It's just all the government stuff that is uber secretive.

Breaking news! Japan has become the largest exporters and second largest importer in the world. This is a result of the merger of many of the Asian tigers, export dependant economies. Also, the Honda-Toyota monopoly in Germany-France, and the algae-fuel explosion has contributed. All hail the great Japanese empire...I mean errr Japanese-Pacific Constitutional Republic. (Hehe, almost let my people know that it wasn't a republic)

Actually, there might be a problem there... Japan offers the legal use of the algae-fuel tank to Russia, if Japan can have that island thingy and the Kuril islands. They were both under historic control of Japan, and many Japanese people live there.

Exactly, I am trading land. The South Kuril islands were supposed to be Japan's, so now we're rightfully giving it to the Soviet Union in exchange for that piece of land. You also can't stop people from researching techs, but you can always stay ahead of them. :)

And by then, you'll have discovered a slightly less efficient way to market, and I'll be another two years ahead. :P ------ Japan notes that it has settlements in the island for hundreds of years, and it wants it back. Japan insists that the only peaceful solution is to trade those islands for the South Kuril Islands, which Japan still insists is owned by the United States, at least until this dispute is resolved.

He apparantly did not, which is why I am now still researching oil-free plastics. Japan states that the islands are far closer to Japan than Russia, and were taken from Japan during world war two. If Russia wants to mend relations, then they should give them back. If they do, then Japan renounces control of the South Kuril islands, which were disputed.

Honda-Toyota hope that if you decide to build your own engine, it won't be of the same kind. Japan also demands the two islands, because they are too close to the homeland for comfort. They must belong to Japan to ensure safety.

Well the only people who can afford to use such things on the battlefield are the uber powerful empires that like toying with their prey. :P

Japan asks for control of the two islands north of Japan, from Russia. They have been in dispute for a hundred years, and Japan wants them back. Also, Japan requests that Russia cease production of the algae-fuel car, because it was patented as a Honda-Toyota invention.
