  1. Nope. Unless you went beserk and starting massacring people.
  2. Well let me guess...last time you destroyed the EU...so now you must be destroying the UN. Fine by me!
  3. And that brings me to my next point. Wouldn't you have been sanctioned repeatedly for such an action? You basically broke an important treaty.
  4. You said that you chose to use nerve gas...when Switzerland doesn't even have any nerve gas. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chemical_Weapons_Convention
  5. I'm also pretty sure that Switzerland doesn't even have any nerve gas. At any rate, Ethiopia could not invade that other place if its army was destroyed, and Somalia's forces would also be greatly depleted.
  6. Well according to you troops are all equal, so that's irrelevant. It's just canceling out the troops. Otherwise, we'd have to have modifier and the like. Also, isn't nerve gas banned by a chemical warfare convention?
  7. Pro Moderator -Archi -Rocco -Mather Anti Moderator/Other Positions -Retech -Icu -Grim Also Archi, doesn't Ethiopia have like 200,000 troops? So it would be a stalemate. If you just invaded Ethiopia, then there wouldn't be any troops to invade that other place.
  8. Well voting should be finished by tomorrow morning, with a majority vote. (Since lots of people are still not here)
  9. Hehe  I gotta go now. Be back after lunchy. Also, could someone please color in Indonesia, South Korea, Papau New Guinea, and Singapore the same color as Japan for me? Everytime I try to do it, it shrinks the picture so it becomes unusable. <_<
  10. Since this is an important decision, it should be either up to like 7, or a simple majority, with voting concluding tomorrow morning. No Moderator
  11. Or be involved with any nation positively or negatively affected by the war. So essentially, Switzerland would actually have to be a neutral country.
  12. Okay, so Icu was the one proposing the three-nation thingy. Then I asked if a tribally-administered territory counted as a country. Archi said no, and I thought that sorta made sense, so I said I was going to peacefully annex the tribally-administered territory, which is Papau New Guinea. The reason Indonesia would join Japan is quite simple. Better export market, political influence, protection, and investment from Japan to build infrastructure and schooling. I'm basically investing billions of Yen in doing so, so I'm sure they would trust the Federation enough. Not massive debt and poverty, just chaos and instability.
  13. Well if you mean the fleet that is around Indonesia, then that is correct. But that's a federation fleet, so it's essentially Indonesia. Besides, they COULD quit, but now they'd have to have a big reason to quit rather than to join. So inertia is on my side.
  14. Well as I see it all these different terms like "protectorate" or whatnot are more to spice up the game than having massive distinctions. So it would probaly do everything you wanted (except blowing itself up of course).
  15. No, my plan was to send a peaceful occupation force to Papau New Guinea, incase Rocco's three-country rule was actually instituted. And Ross, I never said you couldn't send it, it was just that you would have to get through the defence fleet first. I wouldn't mind. That's a big help Archi. Thanks :D
  16. Yep you do Rocco. The federation of Asian states (still haven't settled on a name) sends one team to the Olympics, since they are practically one country. It has about 979 tonnes of gold, so about 975 tonnes or about 32 billion worth in gold.
  17. Automatically? I've been working on it just as long as you. Except that you started Pakistan later (one or two days, me thinks). Anyways, if Singapore did break off for 500 tonnes of gold, it would lose all the gold deposits it has, an additional 725 tonnes (it's owned by federation not Japan), and all its currency (which was changed to Yen, which is owned by the federation). ------ I would like to remind you Ross that I never had troops in Indonesia.
  18. You could...? -Looks at UK- What is the price of gold these days?
  19. Well yah, that makes sense. Gassing my own people would probaly make them break away...from themselves. ------- Meanwhile, I don't think Singapore would leave for 500 tonnes of gold. The gassing thing, probaly. ------- The Federation government has been integrated to such a degree, that any nation breaking away would basically make their government fail.
  20. Okay, then they have joined an unbreakable federation which functions as different countries with country leaderships and a main federation leadership. They act with domestic policies under their home countries, but foreign policies under the federation leadership. Stop trying to change the rules.
  21. Five days. I'm basically saying that they have joined a federation, which acts as a single country. It's like the Sovet Union, except without the "we'll beat the crap out of you" and "build the iron curtain".
  22. It can't be split. Alright fine, the other countries have joined Japan. (I was trying to make it more interesting, but I guess I can't do that without exposing technicalities)
  23. Political talks have been completed, and the aforementioned countries have joined a federation, of which Japan is apart of. (So theoretically they are independant states, but in practice it's the same as if they joined Japan) Foreign policy is united as a single government.
  24. Well I'm sure that someone would intervene if you started burning people at the stake, or encouraging holy war on someone. :) Other than that, someone probaly won't intervene.
