Good luck annexing Spain! :P The Japanese economy expanded 40% last year, from 5 trillion to 7.1 trillion dollars, with the incorporation of Indonesia, South Korea, and Singapore. This year, results were much less dramatic, growing 5.6% to reach 7.5 trillion. Results for this higher than expected growth are a strong Honda-Toyota monopoly, the conversion to Algae-fuels, and the 20% of the Indonesian population which have received jobs as a result. Unfortunately, expenditures on conversion to Algae-fuels dragged the growth downwards, so it didn't reach any higher.

I wanted to go into Somalia with noble intentions, and I didn't commit acts of genocide. Yay for me! ------------------ Algae can be harvested once every 10 or 12 days...which is why there is such a large workforce (48 million people). I've been researching it from a while, not to mention that algae group thing.

I was waiting for a UN coalition to help stop the chronic civil war and reform the government. Afterwards, I was going to give governance to the UN. I think that was a noble goal: my motive was that pirates were attacking shipping.

Oh yah, remember that I have a much larger, sustainable algae pool of my own. I'm selling the oil to anyone who wants it. (They still probaly need to build an infrastructure, but still).

Algae is everywhere already, it doesn't need my help to spread it. Anyways, do you really want to strike a country at this time? -------- Japan pays the tonnes of gold it has, down to 975 tonnes (it had a bit more than that, so I am rounding it now) to convince the National Algae Association to relocate its headquarters to Osaka, Japan. They are being given free housing and food costs, if they continue working on the Algae.

Make sure you don't threaten the Sherpas and the mountain climbers there. They are some of the most interesting people in the world, wouldn't want them to get killed! :thumbsup:

Okay, so basically all my moss research was in fact in Algae research. I don't think it can survive in the open sea either, so I'm still going to be growing that on my floating islands on the coast. As a safety measure, nets have been set outside the boundaries to make sure things don't get out.

Might be. I still remember very clearly that they used the term moss. Maybe they got it mixed up? I haven't been able to find a moss renewable energy source anywhere. <_<

There is such thing as moss oil. Well it's not technically called moss oil, but it exists today. It was listed as a promising carbon neutral solution to the depleting oil reserves. The only problems were basically they were trying to breed a new kind of moss which gives a high quantity of extract to be used, and they needed a way of growing it. And tada, problems solved.

It won't, because Moss cannot grow in open waters, even if I dumped a thousand spores there. They require dampness and shade, which is provided by a floating tarp to keep them steady and a larger tarp to give them shade. Japan does not stop, because Switzerland has no scientific basis on which to conclude that. Japanese SAM batteries are prepared to intercept any attacking aircraft, and short ranged interceptore jets are on a state of high alert. There are already millions of spores all over the planet. Doesn't do anything.

Except that moss can only survive in certain conditions on coastal waters (it has to be shady), so only areas which have been designated as moss growing areas are habitable by moss. That's why there are giant tarps which filter out sunlight (not all, some) so the moss can grow.

Japan notes that the moss-farms are already grown in the sea. It also prepares aid for Romania, should it choose to accept it.

Japan begins opening up and only requires a visa to enter the country, given by the Japanese government a month in advance for normal people, a week in advance for business people, and instantly for select VIP internationals. This should increase foreign investments and ex-pats. Meanwhile, after the Swiss scam, Honda-Toyota moves deeper into government facilities, which require top level clearance. (Sorta like area 51 in the movie Independance day) Note that if your spies infiltrate my country (likely), then PM me so that I can tell you what your spies find. Japanese investments for Madagascar have increased dramatically, and it seems to be following the same time table as South Africa (30 days). Madagascar will mainly be concentrated in a city, with the rest as a nature preserve. It will likely be a decent moss growing area as well.

Japan is theoretically non-authoritarian. It is a republic after all...with an emporer. :) Besides, spying is actually overpowered in the sense that it can somehow steal secret government technology automatically. Project Squeaky Clean continues as planned.

I'll be sure to color that in later. Japan asks Germany to dismantle their ICBMs, or use them for defensive purposes against military targets. It also asks Germany to stop threatening Britain.
