  1. Well, it used to serve a point back before Jagex added things like banks... how did it work without banks...?
  2. Lol your post makes no sense, i can say that for most skills... Attack: Wielding Rune sword and black sword is the same method. Herblore: Making Strength pot and Prayer pot is the same method. Mining: Mining coal and mining rune is the same method. Defence: Wearing bronze and adamant is the same method. And on and on...
  3. I don't :D ON TOPIC: It's probably that whole strength > all attitude that makes strength the most common 99. Not to say it isn't also more practical than, say, fletching... Exactly, go to ftp clan wars, and see what the first question is everyone 100- combat( sometimes higher) asks you. Personally I'm having a bit of fun with it. I have 76 strength and 91 attack and hope to one day be a combat mind screw :D But strength is still useful to have 99 in. Hitting high is never a bad thing and higher levels in it matter more than most other skills... Attack and defence still overpower strength though
  4. No actually 2003 i think
  5. i think that i quite like you nah i tend to use caps so words stand out =P
  6. How are you gonna 3 hit someone with your noob stats? Go train before you talk trash about skillers. Because your stats are so pro? *sigh* Why does everyone always have to start fighting over stupid things when there's a disagreement? Did i ever say or imply that my stats were pro? I think not. I really dont see how 88 Range is going to 3 hit kill me, i have lots of accounts with more then 88 Range. He didn't actually say your name specifically though. Yeh but i think most of us here have much higher defence than me
  7. Yes sorry for the confusion, i now understand what you meant to say. Effort is indeed worth more than time, everyone has time but not everyone has the effort to fletch or cook for a while. I would much rather get 99 Slayer than 99 Fletching in the meaning that i would actually be LESS bored, even considering it levels slower. So in conclusion you could say that Slayer is 'easier' in a way but i still greatly respect it as one of the most efficient and hard skills to level.
  8. 1. You can do that just as well at level 1... 2. This accomplishes what? 3. Makes sense, but the skill itself is worthless other than as a requirement. 4. What minigames use firemaking? I forget if Trouble Brewing actually has a requirement, pretty sure Castle Wars doesnt... 5. We aren't sure how much firemaking helps its rate of exploding, but I'm not sure the skill is worth it for just one weapon. 6. Vyrewatch and shade pyres you mean? Those are honestly terrible money, and pretty bad prayer xp. Based on these points, I'd say training firemaking is worthless except for quest requirements. Firemaking is completely and utterly useless, you are right. Nevertheless, the skill is really cool and hot. B) This is the Debate Club. You'll find the Bad Pun and Related Tomfoolery Club here. Bad pun? Too bad for you if you dont think the skill is hot, that is my opinion, debates are about opinions, you understand mister confused guy?
  9. And once again someone assumes im shouting cos im doing caps lock, this is the internet, maybe i was just trying to state it in a more CLEAR way. Trust me, it works.
  10. Stop arguing yourself! Stop arguing yourself! Chill dude, i know i made a mistake, i just stated that Summoning DOES raise your combat level for the information of future posters so that they would not reproduce the same common mistake as i recently did about this topic.

  12. The G.E. Limit for logs is 25k. So unless you buy 5 different types of logs, no. Also, the limit for Grapes is 1k/4 hours, so there is some waiting involved. Least admiral skillcape: Slayer. So many people do it inefficiently. If you averaged 30k slayer exp per hour, then that's a different story, but I know too many people who a year to get 99 slayer, training with a whip and DFS, no prayer, no cannon. Some exp rates: Prayer: 300k (ish) per hour Construction: 900k (Usually closer to 700k) with mahogany tables Cooking: 450k (Wines or Pie Bake spell with summer pies) Fletching: 800k (Broad arrows)/∞ (Fletching bolts while doing something else) Herblore: 450k (Extreme magics) Slayer: 30k (Turmoil, cannon, fast transitions) Woodcutting: 90k (Teaks) Firemaking: 450k (Magic logs)/ ∞ (Teaks with adze) Sorry but ALL of the data you presented is wrong, stop posting bull. [videos removed to avoid huge lag] Prayer: Was changed recently. Experience rates that high are no longer possible. Mahogany Tables: May be fast but are also the most expensive reasonable training method. You're effectively paying for speed, as at even my level it would cost around 150 million. Wine: Costs about 7m from 92, and is pure loss Herblore: Even more expensive than construction and you need a high level to make those potions to begin with. Yes sorry i didn't mean that all the exp rates were true, but saying that Slayer along with those skills isn't respectable is just, in my opinion, really a self-centered and not well thought thing to post on this topic.

  15. That's a good thing, of course. And nobody would argue that firemaking should be removed. But from a game design perspective, you need to look at what a skill adds to the game. And with firemaking, you can see that it adds very little, at least in its current state. If we were allowed to light some more interesting things on fire besides logs--say, weapons, ranged ammo, that sort of thing--then firemaking gets interesting. The Skillcape looks Wicked though =D
  16. My brothers b-day
  17. This Giant Earth can't be lvl 3 combat and 70-79 Summoning... Loot share with a rich friend barraging rock lobs. Are you serious? Summoning RAISES YOUR BLEEPING COMBAT LEVEL
  18. Err no, whatever means 'it doesnt matter lets get back on topic' Maybe you see it differently but that is my point of view of the word whatever.
  19. sorry but u terribly deserved that for being so stupid
