Are you replying to me :\ ? What differences do you see between dogma, feeling a certain way about something, and belief? How about the differences between a being who perceives subjectively and a being who perceives objectively?
A person has to believe in something in order to be able to disregard other people's beliefs. If none one could "believe", then there wouldn't be any need for disbelief in the first place.
Metaphor. First person is saying that his friend thinks of being able to believe or to disbelieve is what makes us what we are, so it's pitiful when a person makes a show of being able to do one but not the other. Of course, the real question is why would someone need faith and dogma to be a whole person? It's how we work. It's what makes us human. Being able to believe in something so seemingly rational or irrational, that is.
Amber Lamps? Yeah, I wanted to know what is your (the replier) opinion on it. If anyone is interested I can post a censored transcription of the video here..

Various Disney franchise, Jurassic park action figures, LEGO, list goes on. [/hide] I owned all 4 of those! :D Heh, I just owned the first one and had a friend who owned the ninja castle set. The thing was pretty awesome.
The Hangover. It's alright, not my type of comedy though. I like Hot fuzz better because I'm more of a action film fan. Could see more references to the films it was parodying.
