  1. Its actually EXTREMELY easy nowadays to make a TON of money and become rich. There is nothing holding anybody back. If somebody wants to get rich, they work for it, boom done.

This rant is kind of pathetic. And very flawed.

  2. Yes, because it is of higher value it is a much bigger achievement.

133mil for something you really want, working hard to get is surely an achievement. Doesn't matter if you don't see it as one, its no less than raising money to train a skill, or spending hours and hours clicking to train a skill.

10/10. I know how it was when I got my first partyhat, granted in RSC and I made a tank mage, lvl 41 that owned lvl 90's in duels. Back when I had 17 phats. xD Mostly pink when they were worth the most, before the dupe.

And BTW there were no whips in RSC, so PLEASE don't talk about RSC, you clearly did not play it.

  3. When did 'camping' become a bad thing? This game sure has changed since I played it. That was the way to level up the best, camping monsters for long periods of time.

When I got 85 slay, like the tenth one to get it, I camped abbys for so long...and made so much money before whips dropped in price.

Suddenly 'camping' is looked down upon? LOL you guys are to spoiled with easy xp nowadays.

OT. 6/10 for stats. They aren't bad, but with the amount of maxxed out players nowadays have to rate accordingly. ;)

3/10 for bank. Its enough to get by, but it is fairly small. And level doesnt = big bank, to the people indicating it does.

  4. pretty good, but ive had the same number of whips in a single task, though

woulda been nice exp gain i guess

Alright Buzz Killington. haha no hard feelings

I always like these different type of achievements, interesting.

alright mr i just found these forums.

    Grats esper.

    Just a note.

He didn't just find them, probably just browses without posting.

Regardless, nice work esper, always liked the way you did things. xD

  5. When I got 99 prayer I got 250k/hour and I was being lazy (also, no mouse keys). There is no question you could get much better, as zarfot proved in his ridiculous prayer video. Prayer has been made slower and more expensive, but with less clicking. The amount of clicking required was never what made it impressive to me, so I don't feel the achievement has been worsened at all (in fact, it's become more difficult in my opinion - I'm glad I have it already).

99 prayer most definitely did not give carpal tunnel in any way, shape, or form though.

I wasn't saying it was and I really hope people don't start with the "bla bla I did this I don't have it"

But everybody know what causes carpel tunnel, and all the repetitive motions done in RS definitely contribute to this. I guarantee that is one of the factors in why they add "x" options to skills, they aren't always trying to make the game easier, they also have your health in mind.

I was just adding that point in there, as I haven't played RS in like two-three years.

  6. There's no such thing as luck, good or bad, there's only low probability.

    2. good fortune; advantage or success, considered as the result of chance.

    3. a combination of circumstances, events, etc., operating by chance to bring good or ill to a person.

umm you say there is no such thing as luck, then used part of the definition as one your conclusion...k

  7. You forgot something when you made this topic.

It was put into the game, by the creators of the game.

    1. Why would they lie about something like that?

    2. Really...you think they would lie about something like that?

    3. SERIOUSLY?!

It does not HAVE to be proven, the fact that the GAME CREATORS put it into the game and SAID that it improves drops...is PROOF enough.

  8. Mage on a MELEE character makes it IMPURE...HOWEVER...you forgot a big part of RSC staking and even some wildy pures...

    Tank - Mage...yes a tank-mage is pure...

mine was 10 att 10 str 60 def 49 hp 80 magic 1 prayer and lvl 41 combat.

Pure in many eyes is more hp than combat level and no prayer...for melee its also no magic.

Tank-mages pretty much dominated the RSC staking scene, I won so many phat sets on mine...miss those days, sad to see our breed forgotten.

thanks for explaining it :) sorry to anyone if i sounded rude before

True but I hope you will agree that the word "pure" with the word "rune" in front of it would imply a melee pure with 40 def. In fact the word "pure" without qualifications in front of it always refers to a melee pure and other special types of pures always have a description. For example, mage pures are called "mage pures" and not just "pures." This is simply to avoid confusion back in the day.

    I loved the pics Hohto.

Oh definately, I 100% agree with you. Mage pures were never referred to as rune pures, lol...especially since most of us wore dragon...

  9. Mage on a MELEE character makes it IMPURE...HOWEVER...you forgot a big part of RSC staking and even some wildy pures...

  10. The one with more gold left over besides the hat set?

So most likely the guy that bought it in RSC and didn't just spend all him GP on a phat set.

And people didn't predict they would be as HIGH as they are today, because we didn't know it would be so EASY to make money...RSC money was hard to come by, I had loads of it only because I was a staker and had a lvl 41 tank mage.

  11. If you teleport out to restock, while the mage kills them solo, with no help whatsoever on the ones that he gets drop's from, why should you or any of the team that teleported to restock get a share of those drops?

That's almost to say that being part of the team I could kill 10, decide I was bored, teleport away for a bit and say I was restocking, do something IRL real quick, come back and try and lay claim to drops that they got with no help of me.

Each kill is a random drop. The more you kill has no effect on the % of what drop you can get, thus if you aren't there to help with any of the kill, there is no way you should get any share of the drop.

If you help kill it but have to teleport away mid fight, THAT monster, yes, you should get a share of that drop. NOT if you didn't do any help at all on the monster.

I hardly find that a morality issue, in fact...it isn't one.

  12.

Yeah exactly the same, except for -

    -The swords/cleavers

    -The positions of the [bleep]es

    -The horns

-The lack of tail in RS

-The lack of Wings in Diablo

    -The body texture

    -The body color

    -The teeth

-The lack of hooves on Diablo

-The lack of [bleep]e coming out of leg in RS

-The lack of fingernails in RS

-The lack of horn on RS demon's chin.

-Amount of horns on top of demon's head.

It's a FREAKING demon, the only similarity to me is the color and the eye color, which also has to do with color.

    Give it a break.

Well of course it's not the same I'm not blind. I'm just pointing out they share a lot of similarities. Most of what you said, that's because Jagex can't give it too much detail so they couldn't do the body texture even if they wanted to. Also blizzard would have sued them if they did it too much the same, now Jagex can claim what you said.

Btw look closer, he has fingernails. Much less detailed yes, but they are still there.

My point is, jages didn't copy Diablo.

It's a pet peeve of mine when people post things like that and speculate that one company copied another. There aren't that many ways to make demons, of course a lot of different pictures from different games might be similar.

  13. Didn't anyone noticed K'ril Tsutsaroth is just... Diablo?

  14. (excuse me for not reading past page 4. I don't have mush time to write currently.)

No matter how you look at it, no matter what your personal belies are, according to The U.S.A government and most of it's inhabitants (including me) what she did was illegal and wrong. Someone said that even though it is rape, you shouldn't call it rape. I thought was one of the most unintelligent things I have heard on this site. If not rape, then what? Sexual abuse? Taking advantage? It's called rape, so call it rape.

It is statutory rape and it is illegal. from what I read, it sounds almost as if some of you are defending this woman. I wonder how many of you actually think that she was right or that she was wrong. I think she was wrong. She broke the law and will be punished for it.

We can't have double standards for rapists and rape victims because people lie. People can be forced to say they consent to having sex with rapists. That is why the rule is in place.

EDIT: and whoever asked if it's possible for women to rape men, a large amount of rapists are females. I think around 45%, though that may not be true as I heard it on TV.

You know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about the law.

I am a Criminal Justice major.

Let me tell you something. I have no double standard, I do not believe it should be called statutory rape. Statutory rape both people CONSENT but one was under the 'legal' age that somebody decided a long time ago was a good age.

Do you NOT realize, that it doesn't matter what you think people are forced to say, there would be absolutely no case if they were forced to say something, because of two things.

One, if there was no law, and she was actually raped, like people get raped every day, and then threatened for their life, it doesn't matter HOW old they are, its RAPE.

Two, if the law is in place, and they were forced to say they consented, it has no bearing on the case, but simply makes them look like they wanted it, and instead of the guy getting a REAL rape charge, they get off lighter.

You OBVIOUSLY don't understand the difference between Statutory Rape, and Rape...please read up on it. PLEASE.

If somebody is FORCED it is NOT STATUTORY RAPE regardless on the age, it is pure and simple RAPE...Statutory can be used as a fallback, but it is RAPE if it is forced and not consented.

That is all, funny that you called me unintelligent, while you have no clue what you are talking about.

AGAIN, I will tell you ONE MORE TIME, It is NOT a double standard, and people are threatened every day by REAL rapists, that FORCE themselves on people, while we are focusing on two people that BOTH WANTED to have CONSENSUAL sex.

I have no idea why you seem to think differently, read up on your laws.

  15.

Forgive me. I didn't read the article, I just presumed he had been. The point I'm making though is that the consequences of rape, both physical and mental, are far beyond many of our, including mine and probably your, understanding.

I know your point, and true rape yes those can ruin a person's life. I said that already. :P But I don't expect anybody to read all 9 pages before posting of course.

My whole point against the person that I quoted was that statutory rape isn't really rape in the way rape is...because statutory both people want it, while real rape one person is being forced and it can ruin their lives.

But you still understand that that 13 year old is no emotional position to make that judgement, since he's not developed maturely enough yet, don't you?

That is untrue. I'm not sure if you were 13 in the past 7 years to know that 13 now is much different than 13 20 years ago.

I lost my virginity at the age of 13, I still would have made the same judgment today as I did 7 years ago.
