I wouldnt say its the best "hands down", its the best at certain things ... But i would say keep it. Even if a new wepon came out better then the whip whats the chance you could afford it straight away anyway, you would probally still need whip for a while.

It's 5.333 across hp attack str and def, 1.333 for hp and 4 for the other stats depending on how you train them. I thought it was 4 xp per damage, unless training controlled, then it splits the 4 xp between atk, str, and def? It is 4xp over attack, strength and defense even if you train controlled, but he included hp in his original post as a melee skill.

I always hear people boasting about making 500k+ an hour with their skills, but none will say how short of people with very high runecrafting. Is it even possible to make that amount of money via skills? and if so how!?!

I'm guessing you want the spined armour set because you are going to Sigil... you need more then just dagganoth hides, you will also need a circular, flattened, and stretched hide. These are droped on Waterbirth island by dagganoths, you must also complete the fremminnk trials quest.

If they are all at a decent level i would say defense is most important, surviving longer and taking less damage means less food, which means money saved ^_^. Though i have never really been a big fan of strength.
