    Aww, RPG, but you never come to the Tavern anymore. Considering the pseudo drama going on at the moment, you may be wise.

    Heh. May be a fun thing to try, Nex, but I don't think any of us are truly great artists, or at least good enough to do it here. You can try, and I'd try it out, though.

    Mhm.. And I'm staying with the Tavern. It's much damn simpler and even if Arch doesn't want to come back after a while, he can still run games.

    I prefer the tavern. We know it and we can be assured there's someone watching us when we get too hostile for our own good. Besides, these Forums haven't kicked us out yet and I don't see the need to apply the boot to our rear ends. Also.. Archi isn't coming back to the forum because he needs a damn break. Stop acting like it's the end of the world when he wants to just let all this stuff with the trolling and the mod team go to rest, which I'd very much like.

    Well. That was a fun Friday night. The local tech team hosted a LAN party with a game called Artemis, a spaceship simulator. Everyone has a station, like weapons, science, comms, helm, and engineering, with a captain coordinating everything. I ended up being the captain once or twice and shouted myself hoarse, but it was well worth it.

    Soooo. I spend 12 hours on the road and rush back to my computer to find barely anything has changed. Grand times.

    I may be absent from the next session due to a dog show. So don't expect me to show up unless I say otherwise.

    I think Solar Sails are just theoretical and nothing else, however.. Apparently they've been used before, but it is Wikipedia. Should be taken with a grain of salt.

    Don't bash the Mods all that much, you know. We're all a little off from that one guy buggering us up, which isn't making us think all that clearly. The Mods will do as much as they can, which honestly is all we can ask of em.

    No, you crashed it by saying you were Archi and then lying to me. You asked for Op when I was distracted by other questions and then just started effing with the channel. The new channel is in place and you are banned from it.

    Channel is up for people to join. I'll be working on a project and won't be paying attention until 7:00 GMT, or 2:00 EST. Name is #Empire Arch can't make it so it's essentially a ship design and planning session.

    It died. You chased off the only person who made good games in the tavern and had stayed to do so.

    Archi threw a bit of a tantrum, stopped his game and Nex is attempting to stir it more for some reason. :wacko: Okay, I know this is a double post, but this is utter bull and you bloody well know it, Nef.

    Anyone who was interested in playing Empires should come to a Tip.It IRC labeled #Empires tomorrow, 2 o clock EST, or the regular session time. There'll be a discussion on how to continue the game under the new conditions. If you don't come, you don't get a say in what we do and what we decide for the future of the game.

    Well, the airlock shenanigans was because I didn't realize we weren't at the station yet and thought the computer was being silly. But that computer, man. It's getting a memorial for all the stuff it did.

    I actually would like to note, Nefer, that you're bloody wrong. I was assuring Retech that he could have his own rooms that people couldn't walk into and steal whatever he was working on, and that he could keep his own money for research he did even if someone else tries to claim it. Me getting the money would only come into play if I asked Retech to help me with drone upgrades, ship upgrades, or other things that fall into my jurisdiction. Also, Mather as a captain would make it hard to play, for me. I feel that there'd be bad blood between me being, admittedly, a dick for the good of the ship back in Space 1. I'm hoping it doesn't carry over, but if it does, I'd probably drop out of the game.
