Well, today was fun.. Sorta. After waiting for our AI to get off "Collectiing Data" Faust went slightly insane about SUE, who is a homicidal maniac who i would like to reprogram, and i nearly caved his skull in. Again. Then, we tested the BLITZ aray of his against my menagerie of weapons. I came out on top twice, him three times because of his little "Electric" trick. Annoying, but effective for us. THEN, while i was training, our erstwhile Kirby Captain Jen got arrested. Then crashed her ship into the Unity. I was tired of repairing that hulking death trap so many times so i let the others handle it. Ugh, sometimes these ships come back in the worst conditions after something as mundane as moving them, for chrissakes. Chief Repairman and Mele specialist Earth. Signing off.

Could cause problems. But, May i have command of the kirby for mining missions? It would be good to have the captain of that floating ill-fated deathtrap good at repairing it.

Most homicidal doesn't mean best. And, ITS NOT THAT GREAT. It's bulky, it takes up a lot of space, it's got several vulnerable times where someone can come up and shoot you down. EDIT: Archi, i'll try that.

So, basically, we just crushed distance into a huge bear hug to get where we need to go faster. But by doing that we lose our grip on time, which makes it slow. AND! If the blob is a machine, as Archi stated as a possibility, then it is completley logical to assume it would grow linearly. Doubly so if the things Organic covering isn't a sham.
