... You're only a few years older than me. I'm pretty sure it's not a matter of age. It's a matter of taste, and I can see where people might appreciate it, but the situations and character decisions are full of cringe-worthy stupidity.

Seinfeld is unfunny. The characters really don't have much depth, just an accent and a 'unique' mental disorder.

Well it follows no real storyline and is composed of a series of non-conflicts caused by every-day circumstances. Just the culture is Japanese, and the characters are animated.

Lucky Star is like Seinfeld, if it was a Japanese anime. And if the only male was a slightly... off... parent of one of the main characters.
