My school completely redid the secondary music-and-arts building, whole new auditorium to go with the ol' blackbox theatre that we've been using for presentations and such. We're also getting another new building this summer, mysteriously dubbed 'Fitness'. Can't help but wonder what it will be for. No, seriously, we already have a gym and fitness center. I have no f'in idea. It looks like a prison. I'm betting it'll be where they keep next year's freshmen. :thumbsup:

I get just as many, but they're good ones... like "WTF how did I just take out an entire building of soldiers..." Nothing feels better than your team marking a target, charging, and walking in to see you jumping through a window with corpses in your wake. Gotta be one of my fondest memories from when I was still with those squaddies.

With the one-hit-high-power weapons I've been using, shotguns and the magnum and such, I've had several instances where both me and my enemy die at the same time... Several times where the after-death cam shows them walking around with 0%... several times where I shoot someone with a SPAS point-blank and you can see the bullets hit them but they're immune somehow because they pressed the knife button... So basically better detection than any game I've ever heard of. :P

I love those kinds of battles. In Call of Duty you just despise the jerk running around in the ghillie suit, in Reach you learn to respect your opponent.

In theory, 1) Reproduce and 2) Survive. Humans kinda threw a monkey in the wrench-work when we evolved thumbs, as well as a bigger brain (which we evolved to better interpret scents, coincidentally), and began making use of both. We want to be happy, but can't define happiness. We want to be powerful, but can't control others with just a show of force. We want to love beyond reproducing urges, but don't know how to distinguish one from another.

I think I missed something. What's epic?

Some days I see people ignoring those they're supposed to care about. I see them choosing to forsake all else for the sake of prestige as geniuses. I see them holding themselves on pedestals so high the 'little folk' can't help but look up to them. Other days I see people of every gender, race, religion, sexuality, laughing and helping one another with no promise of reward. I see supposed enemies giving up a feud in the name of sportsmanship and fun. I see a girl lying in a tree above the school doors blowing bubbles over the crowd. I don't like the world as a rule, humans are what happens when evolution stops halfway, we try to kill ourselves off harder than any other species in history. But I can't help but feel sorta proud and happy when we go beyond our nature.

You gave a link to the hamachi thing, saying you were using it to host a Minecraft server for people who did NOT have Minecraft. I'm going to go on my discretion, and say that merits a warning. Also it led to conflict on the forum itself, I strongly suggest you keep such grievances OUT of my jurisdiction if you don't want a forum moderator attending to the issue.

Mather, Res is right. I could be wrong, I suppose, I wasn't there, but whatever he may have said I've heard ten times worse on other Minecraft servers. Plus I can't advocate your server in the first place, being as it breaks copyright AND forum posting rules. :-k

*Sigh* It's a good comic... But it's like advocating a reformed sex offender. <_< I mean, artwork is incredible, story is great, the characters might not be so deep but they're quirky and moving, and then you have the webcomic's team dumping inappropriate crap (they don't actually do it often in the least... once per few hundred pages maybe, and that's not even really bad). I can only hope that it will become milder with time as it undergoes further revisions, but it's probably too much to hope for that they'll purge the goddamned side stories.
