I feel like a bit of a hypocrite, but it just seems weird to me. Mostly because almost all of the stuff is basically pornography without the nekkidness. Apparently they have a word for that in Japan, but I'm not sure how to spell it.

Halo, there are some folks who find anime perfectly acceptable. There's a clique that I have some friends in who are sort of the 'fashionably weird' folks or something like that. Either by intention or coincidence. Y'know, the folks who love Invader Zim, have Magic the Gathering clubs, read manga in class, and are all improbably pretty regardless of stereotypes. I usually avoid them, they're weird.

I thought it was "fight first gear". What do normal people think of anime? Do they really think it's intended for women/children? Megas is not an anime. I haven't even seen it and I can see that. As far as I can tell, it may as well be American Gurren Lagann, though.
