After a crazy week or two, I now have time to play RS. So I go to my local slayer master to get a task, and for the 4th time in a row now I have gotten Basilisks. I don't have anything against them, but i would have liked something new. Well onto more importent things, on double xp weekend I jumped from 38 construction to 65 for the cost of 750k and my weekend. So exciting to think of all the things I can now blow my savings on in the name of impressing all 4 people who will be visting my house! well there are a few things I do need, but to put them in i'm going to have to pull the whole trainwreck apart and make it user friendly... thank god. As a bonus on double xp weekend I also got my herblore and summoning above 40 so now I have no skills under level 40. So all in all i think it was a good use of my time and energy. Today I got to 1400 total levels and the ability to get into the warriors guild so I might try that later. don't know if I'll try for the defenders or not, but I think the games in there sound fun. On a sadder note I have another quest I have added to my will never help a friend with that list, it joins such names as Ernest the Chicken and many others, One Small Favor is so distructive to my psyche that I am never going to mention it again, but I have to do it. I should note for everyone out there that I did Ernest the Chicken without a quest guild :ohnoes: . Well back to RS and my slayer task, Cheers!

I say go for it, you can always make a new pure if you want to PvP again, but most of the game is better suited to a balenced character.

Well I have to say my first post was quite a flop and i'm sorry to everyone who read it. I will get better. After making an insane number of oak planks I am now prepared for making X2 Xp. I think i'll go take out my pent up agression at a certain sawmill operator on some slayer beasts. In any case that is not waht i'm here about. After hours of mind numbing maze running and quest guide serching i have finally finished the Lagacy of Seergaze quest! Yarg, that was a complicated quest and here are a few tips for anyone who has never done it, don't brng any armor untill you have to fight the Vyre even dhide drains you to fast. also it is easyer to teleport out when reporting around then trying to figure out which doors the short cut keys work for... that was a real let down BTW... and lastly if you are lowwer loevel, like me, bring prayer pots and not food for the final fight since the Vyre were able to beat on me pretty good and i have 64 def. all the higher level players are allowed to luagh at me, but beware I will post a rude comment or something. I hope that this helps someone out. Another great achievement happened on RS I did an evil tree for the first time, pretty good for the first week of playing after taking a year off, and I also got about 100 ranks a mobalizing armies after turning in an insane amount of fire runes there, in the order of 7 or 8k of them. I have to say that I like the hitpoints change that hit right after I came back, it was disconcerting a first, but I like being able to hit the fractions of damage and the thought of a Constitution potion. On a seprate note before the proff readers rip me apart I would like to point out that i am slightly dislyexic... no um dyslexic maybe? anyway that is the reason i can't spell/can't proff read my own work and I know there is a spell checker but it won't download correctly. :wall:

Your thinking the herblore potions, I am talking about level 41 summoning pouchs which while not the most effective leveler of the skill does summon a very handy macaw that is a favorite of some herblore masters I know.

I don't really see alot of autotypers so i'm not going to coment on that. The adverts on the login page are more my speed. People can wine and complian all they want about them, but face it runescape survives becuase of memberships which pay for content and severs and cool events like the new Big Ticket. People would never tell Walmart or Costco that thy couldn't promote themselves on thier websites, even flash games like Crush the Castle promote P2P versions of themselves. So why is everyone going nuts over an advert on a website for the owners of that website? the other point of slower log ins becuase of more clicks is just a weak justifcation of the moans over "thier advertising at me..." the time i've saved switching worlds more then makes up for the four, I repeat FOUR, secounds it takes me to click past it. while i will say the F2P is a great part of the game ad some people just don't want to be members the F2P section of the game is also the biggest recrutment pool for new members there is. I would even suggest that everyone play F2P before they become a member, but long time F2P players have to get over thier advertphobia and P2Pers need to get over losing four secounds to a login page.

This is my first blog post so excuse me if I ramble a little. this is about what i think is good money makers for next week when all the unprepared hordes crash the GE for Double Xp weekend on the 12th. With the Double Xp weekend coming up soon I've been busy getting ready for what i want to do, which is construction, and getting ready to make some cash off of the rest of runescape. As we aproch zero hour expect most things to be going for top doller especilly summoning or farming supplies. I predict that Guam leaves will be an espeicaly hot seller since most people have been, untill recently, leaving them on the ground. Say about a 200-300% boost in the price of guam leaves as the week moves on. another big one that will peak about 48 hours before the 12th is high level fruit tree seeds. Palm tree seeds should see a massive jump in price just as the planting window is closing. If a player prepars right Double Xp weekend could make them millions!
