Why should Doom be admin? Because the Admins of a different forum chose her?? It hasn't even started but I think that power should either be democratic or proven. I'm sure people will join, this forum will still exist and people could find out or we could PM people on forums or whatever but as long as people are looking at it people are going to be joining it. Getting people in is easy, If I wanted something advertised I could get it advertised. Mather, if we created a page that would be EPIC!!

We have an established user base. How many posts do we get in a day normally? its not less than two weeks and to be honest apart from me you have had no new users from this forum, the only users are people who have already been here. People will always check out advertisements, if they see how active and fun everything is they'll try and join. Advertise by whatever the internets equivelant to fly posting is. Post on forums or whatever.

Ah, I see your point there. Not many people have joined this forum without either being recomended by a friend or whatever but we could always advertise, I don't mind joining forums and making a topic there. But for a short time we can have our own 'hegemony subforum' with each country having its own thread and maybe an argument thread. Maybe a discussion forum. I can see it growing if we keep advertising.

Grim, if a constitution was placed in the hands of the citizens and then allow full democracy it woud basically e flaweless, all the laws would be by the people but none could break the constitution. You would vote for laws instead of people, that way people are allowed to forget about who they like and just focus on the news. News and telly should be impartial. Basically, you can't name a single flaw because the population votes on what it wants, corruption is nearly impossible on such a large scale and although it may cost a lot we will all be a lot better off.

I think that maybe a short test on a booklet given would be good (Grim's point) but having to prove your good at Maths, English and Pottery has nothing to do with voting. Frankly I think that news should be neutral, the equivelant to fox news in England is the Sun and they mindlessly followed labour until they apparently caused a reccession (they didn't) and went with the public who didn't like Gordon brown and started supporting David Cameron. Newspapers and news should be impartial, only facts should be given in an unbiased way.

Everyone has a right to vote, the English bullet pointed manifesto's are so easy to understand that even a child can vote. A big problem is that a lot of people vote for change instead of for what the best option is and that's why laws should be voted not partys. Although I have had no experience of college and my school marks in English, Science, humanities are good I cannot express my rage at how you can think that because somone didn't pass college they don't have a right to vote! Everyone of an age to decide should have a vote, why would they not? Basically 50% population would be second class citizens and you'd be spewing propaganda against the Jews immigrants Muslims teenagers people who didn't pass college will frankly not be happy and the thing is they are not a small minority you can pick on, they will destroy your government, even 10% could.

There are thousands of flaws I can see in your thing, mainly the fact that an uneducated bunch of dumbnuts will just come up with a torturous punishment (such as lobotomy). And therefore the community will be bribed and influence each other, basic lord of the flies situation. Constitution allowing slight changes depending on relevance to time period than voting on all other laws is my idea for a good system.

.01% will never know what the 99.09% want. Not just the 0.01% best rule while the rest get no say. TbH all laws should be discussed, points raised and than the public vote. Just like the proposition system in America. That's the best because everyone chooses what they want. Also ballots should be done on a 1234 system instead of just choosing one person to lead but ideally laws should be voted on by people.

Suprisingly I didn't take it to a higher authority, someone else did but I don't know who. An admin just gave me a warning and said I would get banned if I did it again and regarding a moderator not an admin. And I'm worried of his reputation if he wants to get back, Admins are chosen by friendliness, if he's critiscising them he won't have a chance. He tells you things in confidence.
