  1. Thanks for throwing in price information, as well as a list of all the jewelry and places to sell. Thanks to everyone else as well... one more question though... are there any monsters I can fight to get cosmic runes fast or should I buy them (and what do they cost?)
  2. Okay, so ring of dueling sounds good to me for emeralds... anyone have ideas for the other gems?... or am I better off selling the cut gems as gems?... here is a list of what I have.. 196 Saphires 89 Emeralds 48 Rubies 27 Diamonds All gems are cut... So am I better off just selling all of these gems now or taking the time to buy cosmic runes, mine gold, get wool, and then craft them?
  3. I'm new to members and have found myself in need of some cash. I have a bunch of gems that I would like to craft and then sell for some money. I'm level 61 crafting and would like to know what the most profitable thing (for street prices) I can make is for Saphires, Emeralds, Rubies, and Diamonds. Also, is there a better place to mine for gold on the members world than the crafting guild?
  4. I have been working on getting defenders... and am up to mith. When I use it with my dragon scimitar, I don't really see much change. I checked out the Max Hit calculator and found that I can hit as high with my dragon scimitar and a kite shield as with the scimitar and a rune defender. So what do defenders do exactly and does anyone recommend a rune defender over a rune kiteshield?

  7. I am an extreme noob when it comes to computers. I just got a new laptop computer and a NETGEAR Router came along with it. I have heard it is possible to connect the router to a desktop PC that connects to the internet through a dial-up connection and then get on the internet wirelessly with the laptop, however cannot figure out how to do it. My main question is, is there really a way to do this? If there is, I will post back with the problems I keep running into.
  8. Very cool... I'm attached to a certain world... so I like this idea. Support
  9. That had occured to me. However, I'm more interested in what people think of this idea rather than whether people think Jagex would ever do this. Thanks though!
  10. Speechless... Wait, if I'm speechless... how did I say speechless.... and how did I say what I'm saying right now?? :wall: Anyways, Great work!
  11. Please, for anyone who supports this, mention it elsewhere that you post, especially the PvP/Graveyard forums. :) I don't believe I can really advertise in there with a new post... against the rules :) THANKS!
  12. Supported... but maybe with a few more capes (higher than what you have listed). Nice idea!
  13. First off, to all who view this, please take time to post, whether this applies to you or not (whether you are a pker or not). Just let me know if you like the idea. Thanks! A friend and I have both kind of wanted this... a log of your PK's and Duel kills. The log could be very simple, just the name of the player and their combat stats (at the time of the kill) and your stats (at the time of the kill as well). This could just be a simple little tab that reminds you of your kills, and provide something new to post in the Graveyard forum. It is a bit of a pain in the butt to kill someone, look them up on the highscores, record their name, their stats, and your stats onto a document and stuff. This log could save that time and serve as proof of your kills. Most of all, it is always nice to go back two years down the road and look at your PvP accomplishments. What do you think? *EDIT* Also, I thought of perhaps there being a limit of ten logs... so you can store your ten best. Then, anytime you want to put in a new one, you can take a picture, delete an old one, and put in your new one. I would love for something like this on F2P, but I think this kind of thing would have to be members only, for what Jagex would have to do to make something like this work. But this isn't about it working! It's just about who likes it!! THANKS!
  14. I hope the saying "Third time's the charm" works here... As I've said, skillers will not be the happiest with this, but in very little time they can raise a couple of stats to 40. It won't hurt them in any way other than taking a few hours from their 500 of mining. :)
  15. Like I said... skillers won't like this much. However, it doesn't take a lot of time to get strength and attack to 40... but to do it over and over and over can be a pain in the arse.
  16. Found another post!! thanks for... well... you guys didn't really say anything except the word "skillers"... :)
  17. I am pry wrong, because I'm not a member. But perhaps Full black dhide. Or possibly 3rd Age... the real expensive stuff...
  18. I agree with steel plates if you have bars and the smithing level. About 1200 each I think.
  19. In one of Jagex's rules (Rule 12), it basically states that a person's status in real life should not affect their in game success. This rule is in consideration of trading real world items for RS items. However, it can be applied somewhat to this. Some people cannot afford membership and therefore can't advance like everyone else... sounds like their real life status is affecting their success in the game to me. Sure, some of you say that if the player's parents can't pay, the player can use paypal or cash payments. However, some of these players are pretty young and can't really make money. But enough about that. As a former member of 3 months (in which I played like... a week) and a soon to be member again, I believe F2P should get more updates, but not major ones like new areas. Being able to do very basic things in current members skills, like making bronze arrows for fletching, would be great, as players could prepare themselves for membership a bit more. Also, other simple updates, like a bit more bank space could help a lot. A player balanced in all skills needs a lot of bank room. In my opinion, F2P should be thrown updates, but not to the extent of members. Maybe quarterly updates (every 3 months), and nothing too special. After all, for a lot of F2Pers, F2P works to prepare us for membership.
  20. Thanks for the replies so far guys. Any other suggestions of places that might be less crowded?
  21. I agree 100% with willows behind Rimmington. Fast firemaking xp if you burn them, and close to a general store if you just want to get rid of them fast. Not usually many people there either.
  22. I did a few weeks training on them. I used rune scimmy for a while, then decided to try silverlight. My experience was: I could hit 2 higher with silverlight I could hit almost as fast with silverlight as with scimmy Silverlight was far less accurate It usually took me almost twice as long to kill with silverlight compared to scimmy, which led to me getting hit more, leaving with fewer xp and loot Also, it felt like the lessers hit me higher and more often than usual. In other words, I prefer rune scimmy, hands down.
  23. For rune ess mining, I don't think a rune pickaxe is entirely necessary, especially at your level. A simple bronze might do.
