K, i looked at Armadyl Chest/Skirt and their only slightly better in def (with exception to mage) than black d'hide and same range bonus so why do people use it? Hmm arma and ancient gear wont buy haha, wonder how good bandos looks :P

haha i thought about it tbh :P i checked and karil's does have the same range offense so its not worth it :) I wanted to buy Armadyl but i dont think i can afford it atm UNLESS u think the price is going to pop up again, because atm its around 15.5m ea and it was 19m ea Are any of the other books worth getting for ranging? At the moment i have Unholy, Holy, and Balance. I was wondering if the Ancient or Armadyl one's are worth it? I got the damaged ancient book but i dont have the damaged arma (i'll have to complete my ancient one to get arma but i dont mine spending the money to complete them both.

Should i upgrade to karil's or is the loss of melee def to big to justify the extra range offence + mage def it offers? P.S I also decided to go for 99 instead of stopping at 90, double xp weekend is coming up too so that will help me on my goal. Also if ur wondering why im not going to chin its because pots and chins are almost impossible to get ahold of right now.

Ok so at the moment im going to cancel my TD trip and get my range up. I have 2 full crystal bows as well as a rune c'bow with 4k broads and spirit shield. I was wondering if it would be worth it to use up my 2 crystal bows (only costs me 180k/recharge anyways) before using my broads or should i just go straight for the broads and rune c'bow? Ill be ranging all the tasks possible. This will be my setup: FSH Fury Black d'hide top Black d'hide legs Dragon boots Barrow's gloves Archer's ring/kuradel's ring Rune c'bow / Crystal Bow Spirit shield (if im using rune c'bow) Broad Bolt's (if using rune c'bow) Accumulator / Ardoughne Cloak 3 (if i need to pray) Also on some task's ill be praying Eagle Eye and protect from melee if i need to.

Really im doing it for fun, my goal atm on rs is to try every MH monster i can. So far i've got ZGW, BGW, SGW (failed horribly haha!) Mole, KBD, Hybriding DK's (didnt go do well) and solo maging rex. and finally 2 td trips (one good and one horrible)

yea i realized that after potat0 said something. For now until i get a little better ill be replacing one of my pure sets with 2 prayer potions. At the moment my main problem is switching prayers and weapon's. I think i just need some more practice at that, I dont have the SW cape and dont plan on getting it anytime soon as i've already lost to him too many times. I will probably switch my Def cape(t) to Ardoughne cape 3 for the extra prayer.

oh god i forgot about those! ok so 1 of the pure sets will be replaced with 2 prayer potion(4)

Well after taking a long break from going to td's. I have decided to try round 3 against them. My first trip was a bust only making 2 kills before having to bank. My 2nd trip ever i went with Smapla and he showed me how to lure and what to use. Now im lookin for round 3 against them. Im wondering if my setup and inventory is ok for them. Setup & Invo: [spoiler=Tormented Demon setup and inventory] So here are my main questions: 1. Should i replace my black d'hide legs/top with v skirt and karil's top? 2. Is Neitiznot helm enough or should i change it for V helm? 3. Is sharks enough for food or should i use rocktail? 4. Is 1 pure set and a range potion enough or should i bring two? *note* bunyip pouch will be a Fire titan pouch and i will also have a fire titan summoned.

If u have done DK's before solo should be fine, otherwise i would make a few trips with a friend or coach to show u the ropes because if ur not prepared for them it could be a very instantanious death...and bye bye cashpile.

You could probably solo mage Rex but im not sure if u can Hybrid or Tribrid though. When i did it i used Full Guthan's, Void Mace, Unholy Book, Guthix Cape (MA), Infi boots, Barrows gloves, Seers ring. Reason for the guthix cape is i was using Claws of Guthix with charge spell to do as much damage while solo maging rex as possible. Dk's can be an upwards of 3m from what i've been told although i normally dont top around 2m -2.5m if im lucky.

I followed the equation you gave me and if i did it right i should be 97 and about 3/4 of the way to 98 con at 99 str.

Yes u can use a familiar and hot air balloons together although i don't know how many an hour you can do.

I Kind of thought so, i'm currently 93 strength and 96 con so i'm going to assume by the time i hit 99 strength ill be around 97-98 con

I was checked to see what combat level ill be at 99 str and also what con level i will get. According to the Combat Calc i will be 129 combat with 99 str AND 99 con. However, i was wondering if this is a round and about numbers or if those are exact. Im just a little confused on how the calc works to configure con level.

1. I would believe so. 2. G alter's don't give a bonus just like last time, so therefor your right it would be pointless to train prayer. 3. Yes because at only a 110% boost it would be ideal to use the extra xp on something else then summon when it's down to 110% 4. Gloves do not work just like last time. This also includes Goldsmithing Gaunt's and SC Items among other xp boosting items. EDIT: Yes Vettro, its on labor day weekend (Sept 3rd - 6th)

bump, anyone else have any advice for me?

I Have decided to go to back to training my dungeoneering as i'm going for my Rapier/CLS. I was wondering if i could get some advice though on how to do it. 1. Should i rush the lower level's on c1 then do the higher levels on c6? I'm only 46 dungeoneering at the moment so i cant do the really high levels. 2. Is prom 2h still the best weapon to use with the Berserker class kinship ring? or does the B-axe + shield or Rapier + shield outdo it for solo? 3. Once i get to 50 should i go ahead and bind a Prom plate or wait to see if i can get a hold of a Shadow Silk Hood?

Me too really, i mean they have high hp and dont hardly ever hit, to me it seems they have little to no defence but i guess i was wrong there :P
