I remember the "Prestige System" idea. But I think people need to learn to let things end. I get that they never really end. I mean, just like Leonardo Da Vinci once said "Art is never finished, only abandoned". Same thing applies to relationships: being mad about your ex after you break up or even being indifferent, technically, is still a relationship. Even conversations, you can always say to your friend "hey, remember the conversation we had the other day about this?". And so on. You can always improve what you're doing. In RS, you could get 200m all over and over again by getting it in multiple accounts. But I think there's a point in our progress that we need to remember life doesn't last forever. And therefore learn that enough is enough and that we should move on or abandon things.

The net worth I'm recalling is from the days seismic wands in world 2 were... gold.

If that was directed to me, I stopped playing RS3 long time ago and I play less than 5min/day OSRS. And I irreversibly broke up with my ex boyfriend. :lol:

I think when he rage quit, he failed to take into account the real life implications of the game* and im sure he will appreciate it better now. *Jagex is a company and needs money. Thats why there is SOF to support the servers, the staff and the CEOs fat paycheck. They could also close runescape one day if they wanted to. (be it lack of demand or if they wanted to promote a new game) **Runescape is like an old dog/cat. It will die one day but im willing to stick around til the end. Even without RuneScape, I find boyfriends waste of time unless you can't get "casual meetings".

Some top players actually work without being able to play (obviously not 8hours per day) and others make money while they play (merching RL products). And problably some 2k14 top players even have college, I don't really know those.

What surprises me more is how they don't care what they could be achieving so many great/huge things in real life, if they directed their motivation towards that. I understand their thinking, though.

Well, the term "balanced" is obviously very vague. Considering how people can get at least 500k XP/hr in most combat skills nowadays, I didn't find it OP.

Jeez, it may be worth it to train slayer to like 50 beforehand then? Low combat level slayer sounds fun to me. I could go test it now, but I'm curious whether legacy is OP at low levels or not considering how few abilities are available at low combat skill levels. What was your experience? It didn't seem that OP to me. It seemed pretty balanced.

I created an acc to test low combat level training Dungeoneering... I'm 14 combat and I got 3 times (straight) out of 4 Unholy cursebearer combat level 91 at floor 15. Needless to say that I can't even hit 1 on him.

Probably the best you can do is to report your own post and ask for delete. I have done that before when I double posted with no intention due to lag.
