8 effigies in like 13 tasks today, I think you're okay. Although I think it would be much better if they were nerfed/didn't exist at all. Nice to see the race heating back up.

The few times I've tried this, they were just as full as English worlds.

How is it decided who wins the race between the top 2? Is it when one of them gets 5b xp, one of them falls to rank 3, one of them falls 20 or 50 or 100m behind the other, or when one finally goes back to slayer, as I've heard mentioned? Just kind of curious on the semantics here. I keep hearing that the determinant of the race will be when someone runs out of buyables etc, but that doesn't necessarily correlate with their position xp-wise. It's been fun watching them so far, good luck to them both :>

I for one. Also, even though some of the capes don't affect everyone, they should still be able to appreciate that the high level capes have been anticipated for a VERY long time, and jagex finally came through in a way I guess. Other than the capes, I think the mining update might be alright. Even if the varrock plate is better, you can still wear the rest of the mining set with the varrock plate switched for the set's platebody; this would still be useful. Rest of the month looks okay too I guess.

I occasionally like to "stalk" the high scores form time to time, as it can be interesting. But when players seem to really concern themselves, or become overly invested in how other people play the game, is when you may become a bit too involved imo. Admittedly I did not read the entire topic, so sorry if it looks like I missed something. Aasiwat brings up a good point, too. There does seem to be a trend where, the players with the money to potentially reach the higher levels, often don't have the time, and vice versa.
