Thanks for all the replies. These have been helpful in looking for a new Graphics card. I will buy one shortly and put it in my desktop. The only thing left to do is to get 2gb RAM for my desktop. Whata joy.

As I posted in an earlier post, I asked if a better graphics card would help get me better fps. My second question with that would be, if only spending $200, what would be an excellent graphics card to get for my Desktop, not my laptop? About the overheating issue. I have a Radeon 3200 graphics card, came with my laptop. I run Runescape in HD, as it won't work in anything else. I run it in Directx and Opengl, both cause my laptop to overheat, and when it overheats, it drops the fps, lags everything I'm doing to cool it down. I have a cooling pad, and it was working fine for a long time. I sometimes open my window in my room to keep cool air coming in. Doing so keeps the laptop running well. The thing is, I need to know if I can fix this without making myself super cold. This is only on Runescape, when it lags. Should I keep it running in Opengl or Directx?

That's what I was afraid of. Oh well, I'll get a new computer soon. :P

I'm not sure about the motherboard, but if it helps, it's an eMachine, laptop. How much would the motherboard be, if I had to get a new one?

So I was on my Developer Console, and I typed in "displayfps" and it said it was around 14-17. Now, as I watch people on youtube, and even my gf, they all have fps of 50+.. So I asked her to do the "renderer" command. She has a geforce 6300 or something like that. I have a Radeon 3200. She also has comcast, I have WoW, and a slow connection. Would getting a new Graphics card increase my fps? EDIT: I play in hd, and I use Directx, about medium settings, if that helps. I'd like to know if it would be the internet or graphics card.

I use CLS for everything, but mainly GWD. So, I really find it a lot better than using a whip. Yes, it is like a one-handed Godsword, so, I enjoy using it for everything. All in all, I prefer CLS, but if I do ever get enough tokens for CR, I'll get that right after CLS. :D

I must say, this is true. I'm 132 combat, 67 dung atm, and I killed my second spider and got one. I really didn't want the hood, seeing as how I was happy with what I had. But I was soloing, and came upon this hood, used it for a bit, decided I didn't want it, and kept what I had. People spend hours trying to get one, and I got one with my second kill. I fell bad for those who didn't get one. :x

Okay, so, for a while now I've been having bad lag spikes on Runescape, I have no idea what's causing them. I thought it was something I downloaded, so I removed some un-needed programs. Nothing happened. I also did other things people said to do. I'm buying other items. If I want all three I'd get 92 lol. :P

Fixed it. I plan to get 90, and I am getting cls for sure.

Actually, at 85, if you mine for runes, and you have a high Dung level, theres a spot in the Mining guild you can enter and there is a spot where you can mine rune ore for a great profit. You mine, then world hop. It's almost always empty aswell.

I personally liked how it was before the GE, and I wasn't a mercher. But hey, the GE is also a great update. Whereas I hate having idiots help me train Dung. I was so happy when I got a team of 135+'s lol. They knew what to do and all of us finished our floors within an hour. We had to do about 30. Although, there is a problem with idiots, not knowing anything. As of RWT, they could have made Jagex stores, but a bunch of 11-year-olds had to steal their parents credit cards to play the game. That made me angry just because of price in membership rising. Then the wildy was gone, and the game slowly died. Either way, I love how it is now.

I was thinking I'd use Rapier for Slayer and Maul for Waterfiends and certain bosses I have fun with, like the Giant Mole.

I was thinking rapier aswell, but Maul could be great for combo's and Waterfiends.

So, a while back I decided to get 90 Dung. I have a Chaotic Long in mind, and would like to know if I should get the Maul or Rapier?
