  1. From the looks of it, Nex seems to be running towards the player, and I'd assume at quite a fast rate, could this be the first boss that we have to entangle/Barrage? I [bleep]ing hope so. From this picture, I'm assuming that Nex has an attack that knocks you back and stuns you.
  2. Welcome mate FFS?
  3. I can't wait to Pk in DH and not have to risk 15m every death.
  4. Ehh yeah no... Would you like to test it on me? Yes 99.9% of the time I would win... I'll test it if he doesn't :) Alright than  Saying max mage defense makes you immune to magic is like saying wearing full torags makes you immune to melee. With the proper gear, your opponent will still retain reasonable accuracy. Then there's a whole variety of status effects that'll come along with it too. Also, if anything, more melee gear should improve melee attack bonus. Notice that range armor generally improves range offensively, magic armor generally improves magic offensively. Melee armors usually don't have that much of an effect, if any. And before you say "melee doesn't need the attack bonus," hybrids generally have no problem ranging in magic gear. Good ranged weapons offer pretty significant range bonuses on their own, and they go one step farther than melee - all their range strength is derived from their ammunition, and none from their armor. I never said i'm immune to mage attacks, it's just that mage barely has a ko factor by itself. If I were t fight someone in max mage, while wearing max mage defence, I could just run up to the mage and spec with claws. How can you run if you're frozen solid? How can you KO if I'm protected by a light aura for a full minute while your attack speed is halved? How can you hit me if you've been blinded? Just some variables to consider :P Well if food is being used, than I can just outlast your sol spec/ :shades:

  6. How and why is prayer switching cheap? It only prolongs the fight if both people know how to do it well. But that's not true. If it were deemed honorable, trust me, everyone would be an ace in prayer switching. It's not really a divine skill, even though you might think you are divine for mastering it. The fact that people have to take time and learn it shows that it is a skill. I'm not saying it's an amazing skill, I'm just saying it's clearly something that advantages you so why not do it. Because, most people will safe against you and run. It's considered not honorable and it makes the ko ability in a fight drop significantly, making pvp boring.

  8. cool opinion bro can i get a vid of you ss flicking against a tribrid Thanks for the educated response, and no you can't. Then I have no reason to believe that you are right, lol. I don't need you to believe me, computer is to slow to video anyways.

  11. Assuming 50% win ratio, explain how Taco Limey has gotted basically 50+ chaotic mauls and staves at 97 dungeoneering Luck? Taco Limey is over rated, and over hyped. Pretty sure he runs around with a divine now anyways. Plus he dies quite a lot too, but he of course doesn't show deaths in his videos. You want to see a less douchey pker look at sparc mac, he actually has videos where he shows himself using statius and a divine, and being koed by a kid in rune, you can't say that this game isn't luck. I'm not saying luck isn't involved, but you shouldn't say skill isn't involved either. People are able to consistently get over 50/50 win loss ratio even using the same gear. I know for example I am able to do this. And no, SS flick along with mage/melee pray does take skill, xpx. Even if you think it is a small amount of skill, it is not small for the vast majority of PKers The only "Skill" that is really involved is being able to click fast, not really a skill if you ask me. And ss/protect flicking takes barely a day to get the hang of, unless your handicapped.

  14. The same reason safing in the wilderness is looked down upon. It has to do with the runescape combat system itself. It's all based on luck so you need to allow the other person a chance to get lucky while he allows you a chance to get lucky. Runescape doesn't take skill so I chuckled a little bit reading your post. The only way I see Prayers being okay is if your tribridding, hybridding is just stupid with it. And it's not as hard as you say, in my clan we are required to ss + melee flick for corp, and I picked that up within a day.
  15. First of all if your in max mage defence, you will beat a mage every time. Second the simplest fix for Jagex would be that dhide gives a negative melee bonus, it only seems fair since mages and rangers cant wear rune. If this did happen however it would change the game totally and new tactics would be needed for various tasks and bosses.
