Because that is situational and mostly untrue? What do you mean by 'not worth obtaining'? You mean not worth getting 99 in a skill? I agree for things like cooking, but things like summoning are useful and needed to train to get to the best bits of the game. If you mean not worth wearing, well, yeah. I agree. But they make a good alternative to other tradable capes, and i believe they're the best for those without SW and Fcape. Situational? What? The only time a 99 cape would be "useful" is if you're a skiller (none of the 99 capes even look that good, go get a 120 dg cape/3a cloak :>) or utterly incompetent at combat (note that even if you were, ardy 3 is still a very good alternative to SW/fc, not to mention it strikes a good balance between prayer and offensive bonus). Also, I didn't mean that getting 99s is pointless (look at my stats :v) lol.

The reactions on Youtube/KS forums over Rin's route are hectic o.o I guess she isn't a very typical character archetype (unlike fairytale Lilly, shy/yandere Hanako, I-hide-my-pain-by-smiling Emi, and dominatrix Shizune)... I'm genuinely curious now. Hanako's route was really good, but personally I liked Emi's better. Their routes are kind of similar, but even though there was a lot more teenage drama in Emi's route (hence why most people prefer Hanako, I think), I thought that the flow was a lot smoother. Events connected more cleanly and I actually sympathized with the storyline a lot more. While Hanako's route was sort of depressing/sad/chilling the entire way throughout, Emi's was the real rollercoaster (@Newbcake whose line was more dramatic, Emi's or Rin's?)... it was very realistic for a relationship. I think there were as many moments worth smiling and laughing through as there were sad and emotional ones... ups and downs the whole way. Shizune's route is boring so far (and in hindsight, so was Lilly's... much too fairytale/predictable. I think I was just too entranced by the art/music to notice at first :P).

Just finished watching Episode 1 of Ano Natsu (it was broadcasted on TV Aichi while I was at work ;___; goddamn timezones)... I thought it'd be just some normal, slice-of-life, typical J.C. Staff school comedy. I haven't seen something of this genre in a while so I was looking forward to it... Then I find out it's basically just a [bleep]ing twist on Onegai Teacher except the girl has red hair instead of purple (even the character designs looks exactly the same, but just pimped to 2012 standards)... Honestly I don't think much of it, so I might just stop watching this anime altogether :< That said, some "wat" worthy moments upon watching Ano Natsu... - The character designs reminded me of AnoHana... I think that's why I wanted to watch it in the first place (ANO HANA SEASON 2 L0L) - Further research reveals that indeed the designs are done by the same person - The OP is good (lyrics are written by KOTOKO, same girl that contributed to the music for SnS, MariaMite, Hayate, etc.) - The ED is good - There's a character named "Lemon" - "Lemon" is voiced by the same person that voiced Suzuna in Steins;Gate (and Rika in Higurashi l0l)... what a disturbing voice - The main female is basically just a younger-looking version of the teacher in Onegai Teacher and with red hair - She's voiced by the same girl that did Anaru in AnoHana - "The screenplay was written by Yōsuke Kuroda, with original character design by Taraku Uon, who both contributed in the creation of Please Teacher! and Please Twins!" apparently is read "This guy has no creativity so he just uses magical girlfriend with big [bleep] as a droll recurring theme in all of his works" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OnmiKpsW01k Note that I didn't actually like Onegai Teacher, so =/ Even though some would argue that it's good [bleep]-material, I disagree :F Time to watch ZnT F now O

Finished Emi's route. I don't feel like commenting (it was a good route, almost as good as Hanako's and better than Lilly's in terms of emotional depth but... ah [bleep] it. It was good, that's all I guess ;x) Honestly I should start making a note of all the really amazing scenes so when I reach 100% I can replay the best parts again :) It was kind of hard-hitting getting Emi's bad ending first but it made me smile at the good ending.

No. Seriously though, I know that it's not the style of VNs to do this... but there are a ton of thoughts going through my head right now as to what the effect of this game would be like if the character's lines were voiced out by actual voice actors (YEAH, I SAID IT. It's part of the story m8 :> Hanako route finished... had a few scenes still locked though, dat 2^3 permutation exercise... I got lucky and found the missing scenes on my 3rd try (thank god for skip mode l0l). It's not just the main line that is well thought out; the extras are very nicely done too :> Umm idk, honestly this route was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than Lilly's actually (!) and I was really quite surprised that I would think so. Lilly's storyline was a little too fairytale, seemed like everything was always going perfectly/linearly, and frankly her character was boring (as mentioned in one of my previous posts actually). The nude scenes were better than Hanako's but I paid almost no attention to the nude scene in Hanako's route because it really was not as important as in Lilly's. That said, the character development was phenomenal (in hindsight, Lilly was more like "Lilly's playthrough of the Hisao route" rather than "Hisao's playthrough of the Lilly route" l0l) and I was on the edge of my seat through all of Hanako's because the writers actually gave the character that extra side (yeah I basically skipped all of Act 2 but the story got really riveting about halfway through Act 3 :>). Lilly's route though... idk I just wanted to see the sex scene l0l0l. Not to say her path wasn't good (and I still think it'd be canon if KS were ever made into an anime), but Hanako's path reached a lot deeper for me and was a lot more realistic (i.e. people are all different, and you can't just assume everyone will react the same way to the same action).
