Frankly, Torag's is low end barrows armour, for those who want barrows but cannot afford Guthan\Veracs etc, so they stick with Torags instead for it's super high def. Sure, if you're more of a KQer or like to hit high hits, then go get Veracs and Dharoks for a few mil extra. But the reason stands that Torags is the lower end Barrows armour, those who can afford the repair costs every 15 hours, but can't afford the one time payment of Guthans. Dragon and Torags has its pros and cons. Some people say each looks better than the other, this is objective. And, 15 hours of training, you have to pay a small sum of money, like 150k+ to repair it, most people can make more than that in 15 hours, and could probably afford that, but can't bear to pay a one time fee of 18.5(?) mil for full dragon. And for those who say that you can sell dragon back, and not make any losses, tell that to the people who bought chains at 28 million. Not needed comment!

This is really a subjective matter, some enjoy levelling skills to enjoy the sense of achievement after, as you so put it, "Would you like to remember yourself mining the same rock thousands of times" Fact remains you can't enjoy all that you do without having certain skills such as high combat and magic etc. People level skills for the sense of achievement, and having a skill say, not many people can do(Like being top 1,000 in a skill). It really is a subjective matter.

Skill training is boring as hell, and a total waste of good time. If you don't realize it now I'm sure you will in a year, after spending hundreds of hours increasing a number :roll: . All I ever do is kill tough mons (thank god for the SODB) namely Barrows, Dagganoth Rex, and Steel Dragons. I also kill Fire Giants occasionally for supplies (rune arrows, rune drops, gems, half keys, herbs, runes, what don't those guys drop?) and the occasional Dragon Drop :P . The only other thing I do besides that is CW. Hey, my skills aren't great, but I'm the one who's having the fun :wink: . I haven't realised that skill training was boring after 5 years, oh well, I guess one year is going to change all that! Skill training is a waste of time... how?

Nowadays, I rarely stay on for less than an hourw ithout logging in. Cos I'm usually multi tasking like Watching TV or doing programming on my laptop. Then I phase out and forget I'm playing RS. Back in RSC, I could pull overnighters. Now I have a life. :D

Well I've always been a lazy bugger, ever since RSC, for 5 years, I've gotten 105 Combat, 1494 skill totals. I've had so many party hats, masks, santa hats, and stupidly gave them away when I quit a year ago. Ah well, I've always had rubbish luck anyway. So now that I'm back, I might as well do some power levelling now that I have some free time nowadays, and not to mention my skills are really horrible for someone who played for 5 years+. My favourite skills still are 91 Cooking. 85 Thieving. 83 Fishing. I wanted 99 thieving, but quit suddenly, now that I'm back, thieving's suddenly lost it's appeal. I only just joined back and found the wonders of Construction, it's really fun, but I don't have the funds for it, so Construction will be the last skill for me to level. I've always been horrible at PKing, tried my hand at merchanting, I made a lot of money through that, but I always hated merchanting because it's really boring. So I guess I'll use my skills now to make some money, and get some levels. My goals are 83\90 Fishing 61\70 RuneCrafting 65\85 Slayer 62\85 Smithing 91\99 cooking 84\94 Magic All Skills 50+(for now) Notice how my agility level is a paltry level 46, that means I haven't done Legends quest, nor Regicde and all the Mournings end quests. I have a lot of agilitizing to do.. Also notice how all the expensive skills are after getting 85 slayer. Because after getting 90 fishing,and 70 RuneCrafting(Nats), I should have enough money for a load of cannons + cannonballs to help get me 85 slayer. Should take a few years at the rate I play :D Here is what I am currently working on: Fishing 217\29,182 Lobster Say, taking the lowest amount possible to sell raw lobster is 200 gp, I would have 5,836,400 GP AT LEAST. That is enough for a cannon + 26k Cannonballs. That should get me a few Slayer Levels. Getting 70 RC would require 46,761 Natures. That would cost Pure Essence, at 100 each. That would cost me 4,676,100 GP 46,761 Natures, at minimum 300 each, would return me 14,028,300 GP That's 10 million GP Profit, that, + an extra 5 million, would really help my slayer goal of 85, 15 million should get me a lot of cannonballs, maybe not enough for 85 smithing, but definitely close enough. Right now I'm fishing at Fishing guild, World 110.(It's my home world) Wouldn't mind if anyone would wanna add me or visit me or something. I'll update as much as I can, I don't have much time to play, but hopefully, after my exams in 2 weeks time, I'll be free to "No life" RS for a while. Sup Tip.It!

The thing is that, there is such a thing as Protect From... in Runescape, it negates an NPC's whole attack type, making them much easier, I would like to see you try and do it without any Protect Prayers. See if you call them wimpy.
