  1. You can train woodcutting/fishing at max rate while making bolts/alching. You can't train fletching/magic at max rate while woodcutting/fishing. Ever thought of that?

I knew my out of the box thinking would get negative responses.

Whether you are training wc or fletch as your main skill is opinionated. Thanks for your opinion.

You can't fletch bolts while in cmb, fishing, wc. You can't train wc while fishing.

    1. You can fletch bolts in cb but you can't get great xp/hr with it.

    2. I said nothing about fishing although you can still fletch while fishing

    3. You can definately woodcut while fletching

    4. Lmfao where did wc and fish come from?

Before someone asks how can you possibly think that fletch is the mains skill well if I had 99 wc and 90 fletching I could train fletching and woodcut at the same time because I like to feel efficient- it makes skilling more fun to me. The xp I really care about is fletching so fletching is my main skill.

  2. Fletch bolts is infinite xp/h. Does N0T matters if it is broad/mithril/adamant because you can multi-skill with bolts like alching.

Or perhaps woodcutting is infinate xp/hr if you multi-skill and train woodcutting while fletching. Depends on what you think the main skill trained is.

    Ever thought of that?

  3. Thanks xe'

Oh well drum you can still hunt for cash

Depending on how you train wc, fish, mine the urns can be worth it.

Good for dropping teaks, useless for ivy

Good for leaping fish and monkfish, maybe not rocktail if you don't pay someone to bring you stuff

Excellent if you low alch/ superheat ore, not good if you are banking ores.

You can break that wc record if you played 22-23 hours/day for a week+ 6 hours  pretty unbreakable.

  4. is around 90k. So 90000/(200/3) means 1350 fish/hour. 1350/(500/3) = 8.1 urns per hour for an additional 15390 fish xp/hour, and 90000 + 15390 = 105390 (105.3k xp/hour)

    bad fight

Can't blame me for getting it wrong. no one told me the new xp rate.

What about purple sweets for 129k/hr :P

Drumgun how did you get cash before without pvm?

    200m combats at abbies

    I think abbys are monsters

Eating/Cutting combined(rather than split in dukky's original method) is essentially the same as using with purple sweets with the exception of times where you don't receive a roe/caviar, which brings you back to 5 ticks for the next fish.

There is also a certain ratio of the 3 fish that is not taken into account with the calculation made by dukky. It might be an equal 33% chance, or it very well might be that certain fish will be caught more commonly than others, giving different Xp gains and thus any calculation towards fish/hr cannot be based off of Xp gained, but rather the actual counting of each fish.

Also don't forget to calculate in time lost for banking if you're going to use the urns.

Thanks for explaining how it compares to sweets

So how many fish per hour is it? I would test it but I'm too busy runecrafting atm

No bank time needed because you can pay someone to bring you summ pots, pouches and urns (ah the beauty of free trade, making people lazy and obese)

Could carry the urns in a yak and store some waters there aswell.Take urn/water rune when you need to "enchant" it.

It also seems the urn fills every 9.5k fishing xp.You'd need a max of 6-7/hour at Barb.

Having a yak means you can't bring a granite lob

  5. is around 90k. So 90000/(200/3) means 1350 fish/hour. 1350/(500/3) = 8.1 urns per hour for an additional 15390 fish xp/hour, and 90000 + 15390 = 105390 (105.3k xp/hour)

  6. Apparently urns are stackable in bank lol anyone care do do xp/h calcs for doing an hour of the best full urns?

    Mining 97k/hr (including bank time)

Fishing 88k/hr (excluding banking time for more urns)

Woodcutting- 119k/hr (excluding banking time for more urns)

Cooking unaffected by wines, I cannot test summer pies

    Prayer- Useless

    Smelting- Useless

With the cutting and eating method linked by jebrim a few pages ago it would be about 105k fish xp/hour

    I thought cut/eat was 75k/hr.

Each fish fills 0.6% of the urn.

    Average 200/3 xp/fish.

    75000/(200/3)= 1125 fish/hr

    100/0.6= 500/3 fish for 1 urn

    1125/ (500/3)= 6.75 urns per hour

    6.75x 1900= 12825xp from urns

    75000+12825= 87825xp/hr

  8. ^ That's exactly why anyone seriously aiming for all skills 200m is smartest to leave all combat and slayer training to last, as combat receives far more updates that improve XP rates than any other part of the game. In just a little over a year we've had chaotics, effigies, d defender, turmoil, kuradal, extremes, full slayer helmet and now these ashes.

Leave combat til after runecraft, agility, fishing?

  9. Flipping is imitating market makers to an extent. It creates liquidity(the ease to sell) in the market. If people never merched, it'd be very hard to sell anything quickly. This is basic economics that works in the rl, not some random made-up [cabbage] lol.

Or maybe those people who want to sell quick and who sell below med would sell their items to those people who need it badly and who pay above med.

  10. Without flip merchers the GE would be a completely unstable and utterly chaotic trading environment where prices fluctuate millions by the second and trading is a lot less convenient.

That is complete [cabbage] you don't need middle men to make the ge work.

Congrats paperbag on 2bil xp (:

  11. do not judge the people who judge people, and you will not be judged for judging people who judge other people.

Yes do not judge the judgers or you will judged by the judging judgers who will judge a judger by their judgement of judging.

  12.

Merchants are actually smart and make their money more methodically and never really lose any money they make

Stakers can stake smart. Simply do like what people do in casinos and if you lose double your stake the next time until you do win and you win your original stake, you could even tripple up if you want a bit more risk.

theres nothing smart, thats not a trick or anything

odds are odds, every stake you enter has 50% chance, so theres not a single "staking strategy" to make it so you will make money

lets put it this way, if 100 people entered a world and all started staking, and every one of them did this, theyd all make money right? wrong just as much is lost as is gained, theres no trick to a 50 50 chance

How is that not a trick or anything? its is a very well known trick

Your comparison to 100 people does not work because if everyone starts at 1mil and doubles up and 1 person doubles up 5 times so that they are staking 32mil then they need to find someone to stake against, but everyone has won earlier and is not staking 32m so the problem is that they have no one to stake with not that the group overall doesn't make money. Making a "closed" situation where you limit the number of people doesn't work in reality as well as that not everybody bets systematically. Obviously if you close it to a certain number of people then there cannot be a net gain in their wealth it will just go from 1 to the other.

  13. Name? and which world? This could a be a great way to make money haha

Name Prod44 he was getting people in world 70, he was just testing it before so he might have decided against it. The annoying thing being a runner was waiting for a trade, reminds me of my law running in 2006 lol.

Hmm why would you spend 5B on 99 when you could easily get 95 or 97 with talismans/tiaras then effigie it.

He was REALLY lazy but I suggested that he try to cave crawler starting at 80.

Why not just camp at Frosts and get the bones yourself? That way no matter how high the price goes, you'd still be able to get 200m prayer. Suomi's been thinking about doing that himself for awhile.

Drum said earlier that if you try camp frosts for a long time you'll get crashed so many times that you will start to wonder why you are playing this game

inbe4 jagex starts selling rs gold for $ lol

    Quote Jagex

because we don’t want you to be able to buy your way to success in RuneScape. If we let players start doing this, it devalues RuneScape for other players

Saw this on rsof about a year ago when someone suggested it

  14. I saw someone at zmi paying 100k/run for runners. After a bit of trial and error we figured it was better to trade 13 runes twice instead of him putting up runes. His inventory had 14 runes+cash pile but if you had trusted runners who didn't need to be payed each trip then you could get traded 13 and 14 runes (runners need bank runes). He payed 7mil for 30k xp lol

  15. Drum, are you sure slayer wouldn't cover the cost to train prayer? Even if not, by the time you got 200m exp in it, you would have at least made a major dent in that figure. Maybe adding in one or two slower but better money tasks into the training.

Drum said he'd slay when it was faster xp.

Drumgun why don't you try staking? maybe in a few months when bugs are fixed.

  16. Not sure what dung has to do with moneymaking

Dungeoneering isn't a money maker but you can save money recharging you Chaotic Rapier/Longsword paying with tokens and cash isntead of just cash.

Buy coal bags and alch them. Or is that profiting from magic?
