~~~~~~~~HUGE UPDATE~~~~~~~~ Guys, i was just able to look through my files, and i found that i had kinda made a Strength pure some time ago. According to this, it had been trained at soulwars. It was 1-68-1 with 30 HP when i logged into it. Im pretty happy with it. So im training attack atm, currently sitting at 15 attack, maybe will get to 40, and start PKing with it, what do you guys think i should do?

Hahahah, So true I actually have another account currently sitting at [40-72-1] But that was made a long time ago, and i just feel like starting a whole new journey with this one, because it will be a learning experience for me aswell I think once i hit [40 attack] and [40 strength] Things will move along much faster, as i would only have to concentrate on strength, and maybe [Range]

Actually, your friend might have been a botter One of the most Common runescape botting platforms had malicious code in it, which was able to snatch all usernames and passwords that were entered into it I think they were waiting for free trade to come around, and swiftly hacked everybody. After that, the site shut down. The owners of the site are one of the biggest RL traders, [Caution: Jagex Rule Violation]. IM guessing they used the moeny and items from the accounts, to sell it to people for real life money

Cuz rest of ya'll are narbs who don't help with research. but maybe I'll hire ppl to do research for me now that free trade is out. What exactly are you talking about? IM not too sure i understand exactly He makes efficiency spreadsheets and DIY's his calculations since he can't find many test subjects. He is saying sometimes efficiency is relevant to DIY. Oh i see, I might be able to help with some research then. I'll do whatever i can do to help the community benefit :)

Thats a tremendous Feat To be honest In my case, im not sure i am diligent enough to Carry out such a long and stressful task like getting 85 slayer just to get a whip. There are certain things i would infact buy from the economy, such as a Whip, Godsword etc.... But most of it would be DIY, I hope to refine my technique before i actually make a DIY character though, one in which i could maximize my efficiency as a DIY character

You actually dont understand When you fight low level bosses, you would not need food like rocktails, therefore you would fish things like Lobsters or Swordfishes, and while you level up combat in a DIY style, you would also level up other skills, which include fishing and cooking. Therefore, when you come to the point of needing Rocktails, you will probably have the required levels.

Finally a post :) Mind telling me your pures Type and stats? Would help me in deciding my pures future

Hmmm Thats good actually , Semi DIY to make it a little more entertaining, where as avoiding tasks that are boring for you. I'll Try that strategy when i make my DIY character, after im done with my pure

Inefficiency is one point, but from personal experience, ive played runescape for ~5 years, and ive quit so many times, and i just come back sometimes, ya know. I think this will keep you more focused, and i think IN the long run, you would've Benefited more.

Hmmmm, Recently I saw a post in the Official Runescape Forum about something called DIY. And i thought it was a pretty good idea. Now when i came to this forum, i can see that it has already taken alot of people swiftly, and many people are creating such DIY accounts. I actually think this is a GREAT way of training. I mean traditionally, you would just grind away at a monster or a skill, which could seem to be quite boring, and many people quit runescape as a whole just because of this I think that DIY bring a certain "rotation" to the runescape levelling process, and this adds a bit more fun to runescape. Previously, I would grind my way to 40 attack, make a short trip to the G.E buy full run, then continue grinding, Its the same whole thing for Months upon months. But now, You would be able to Grind till 40, grab a pickaxe, mine ore, smelt it, make it into armor, and then continue on, And this isn't the only thing Fishing and cooking your food for Gigantic boss fights. Woodcutting your logs to fletch etc.... It just gives you a whole new look at Runescape, and i think it makes the game more intresting. What do you think about it?

So i'll have to manually enter prices now? I always hated having to stay up to date with those. I thought the G.E way of valuing items was actually good, and i liked it, considering i dont have to know the price of every single RS item. Ill try increasing my prices Slowly :)

Is it just me, or is it harder to get items on the G.E now as some of you might know, ive started my 1 Def Pure, but today i just went to buy some Iron Platebodies, legs, helms etc.... And i was only able to buy the body, i even put the legs and helm at 10% more than the normal price, im still yet to get them in I always loved the G.E, because it was an amazing way to get some hard to get items, Now where do we resort? Discuss

Hello Everybody :) I am 99PureBroski (This is my IGN aswell) Now im not ENTIRELY new to runescape as a whole, ive been playing on & off for ~ 5 years, But honestly, you might as well call me a newb. Because im not too familiar with most new things. Now I dont really know how to PK well, or how it works at all, So i decided, that through trial & error, im going to learn. Ive already kick started this new accounts (99PureBroski) And i hope to make it a One Defence Pure.
