  1. There has been a lot of level 120 skillcape discussion this year and a few imaginitive players have even gone as far as creating videos of possible 120 skillcapes for skills other than Dungeoneering. Below is an example of this. NOTE this is not my video - all credit goes to "Milordarkantos".

His video inspired me to ask you all this question. What emotes would you like to see for master capes of all skills?

Personally I would like to see a neo-like move for a master agility cape, where you put up your hand and stop flying darts coming towards you XD sort of like this :-P

  2. I personally don't like the skill, but there are aspects of it which I think were very well thought out by Jagex. These are: the graphics, sounds and high level armour+weapons inside the dungeons. I do think it has a LOT of potential. Below is one thing I have thought of since dungeoneering came out.

I would like to see skill specific 'outside dungeons' to train dungeoneering. By this I mean dungeons which only train ONE skill (plus dungeoneering xp of course). For example:

Firemaking dungeon: kill monsters by creating and lighting fire traps.

Farming dungeon: kill monsters by planting plant traps (including deadly vines and snaring plants).

Slayer dungeon: kill monsters using specific tools and at different times to complete each room. The slayer monsters are cunning here and can burrow, fly, and do all sorts.

After completing the boss room for that skill dungeon, a chest would appear (similar to the barrows chest). When you open the chest you would receive rewards as well as dungeoneering xp. There would also be a chance of obtaining a 'skill tome' for that skill dungeon. All rewards would be deposited into your bank after you leave or move onto the next floor.

    Skill tomes:

If you completed a slayer dungeon for example, you could possibly receive a 'slayer tome' which provides some xp towards slayer - the amount here would depend on the complexity and floor level you completed. You would also receive dungeoneering xp, and some rewards up to your slayer level. The higher the complexity of the dungeon, the better chance of greater rewards. E.G.

You complete a floor 1, complexity 1 slayer dungeon, for slayer rewards you'd only receive a small amount like 100 pure essence etc. however say you're 85 slayer and complete a floor 45 slayer dungeon with complexity 6 on. There is a chance you could receive an abyssal whip - because you have access to abyssal demons. Note the higher complexity would be higher level slayer monsters which would use many tactics (burrowing/flying/dodging/teleporting/stunning etc.), making the dungeon very hard.

That's what I would like to see anyway. Also with skill specific dungeons, it could be an alternative way to obtain dungeoneering tokens, while training only the skills YOU want, and at your own pace. This would be the ultimate solo dungeon experience :-)

  3. Thanks for the feedback - chaotic rapier I can't do though. I just hate dungeoneering with a passion. I can buy the rest of what you suggested though. Also do summoning potions actually restore the familiar's special move points? I thought I tried it out before and it didn't do anything but restore my summoning levels o_O if that's the case I'll definitely get some of those and some better gear, though like I say I can't do chaotic weapons.

  4. <3 Pirate quests. Can't wait for behind the scenes April too (though AFTER the april fool's behind the scenes ;-)). I have a feeling ROTM will be in that month, or at least coming soon. I love the whole vyrewatch/dragonkin thing - it's such an epic theme.

Hopefully vyrewatch get a graphic update along with it, same with their only drop of 100% corpse, and also the Columbarium needs improvement in the rewards department ^_^

  5. Just because 300 people are maxed, it doesn't mean they deserve a cape "for completionists" (as Jagex put it) without completing every reasonable element of the game. It's a bit ridiculous calling it a cape for completionists and then not even requiring things like a Dahmorac statue, War-chief title or Expert Dragon Archer title.

Good points. If Jagex is gonna make Uber cape so very hard, then hey fill in all challenges. Minigames, distractions, everything!

I'd like a maxed vyrewatch cremation cape :-D although 500 cremations is quite small, I'd prefer 5k cremations. I love the columbarium <3

  6. I always thought it meant 'firemaking lol' because most of the time when I heard it, it was when someone was burning logs at the Grand Exchange.

I can honestly say the one and ONLY time I've typed 'fml' was when I asked what it actually meant in game, out of curiosity. The same goes for 'tl;dr' on the rs forums - I saw it EVERYWHERE, so I had to find out what it meant XD (tl;dr means too long, didn't read - if anyone wondered).

  7. I'm back :-D What I say below has been fixed, so I assume I can post what happened now, if not, please get rid of my post ^_^ though I am posting this to show a J mod in a good light, and I am talking about a bug which has now been completely patched - so I assume it is ok to talk about it.

Ok so I was on the runescape forums and came across a post which warned players of a certain area in trollheim. Because of the recent graphic update to trollheim and the trolls, there were two squares in which players were able to attack others. This was extremely bad because it was fairly close to the beacon where players play that activity for inferno adze etc. Luckily after reporting the bug immediately, and notifying Jagex on the matter, Mod Chris L (bless him) came into Jagex HQ specially to patch up the bug.

Myself and another player (the mage in the pic is an anti lurer - he hated lurer's just as much as I do!) witnessed the brilliance of Jagex as two rocks suddenly appeared in the spaces where the bug occured. Then, Mod Chris L appeared right beside us thanking us for reporting the bug :-P we exchanged thanks, and then he was able to go back to sleep. So a huge thanks to him for getting up out of bed and going to Jagex HQ to fix the bug pronto for us - you rock! Here is a screeny I took ^_^ the two rocks that were added are to the right of me.

I quit tipit a few days ago because of the ROW glitch and the unfairness it brought, but it is in the past now and what's done is done. However Mod Chris L here showed me the dedication they have for us - Waking up early in order to fix a bug. I think that is pretty awesome if you ask me  and that is what brought me back here to tipit. I have faith in Jagex again ^_^

    Edit: Thanks radio :-P

Edit 2: An epic true RS story happened less than a month ago which goes to show justice will prevail:

A player was abusing an invisible pking bug, and was (sorry for the pun) getting away with murder. After a while, a Jagex mod appeared next to him and started following him. The player was confused because he thought he was invisible and able to deceive everyone. The Jagex mod said 'finished?'. To which the player said 'yeah'. A few seconds later he was permanently banned XD Just goes to show no matter how inticing bug abuse is, never let the bad side of you take over, and justice always prevails! Report bugs when you see them.
