First, to the mods and admins, thanks for reversing what I saw as an unjust ban. It's a step in the right direction. Oops, real account remains banned. That aside: We're in no way trying to kill or harm tip it. Yes, we'll cause a brain drain, but we're not doing it intentionally to hurt anyone. A LOT of what happened was out of the control of the leadership of the new forums. Let me tell you that personally.

Although I think "you", (you being the people intent on telling everybody here that you are splitting) should know that there are different ways to go about it. As mentioned before, there have been countless instances of disgruntled high profile players, much more high profile than the ones in this current conflict, leaving. However, they did not get people to 1. Spam the forums with pornography. 2. Attempt to undermine the standing leadership. 3. Jump at any chance to advertise for their new community. This is what I have seen in numerous posts in the past hours I have spent catching up to the current situation which leaves me with little to no respect for these people. PM'ing mates and other people who obviously agree with onesselfs visions should suffice. The self-importance certain people feel for themselves is the only reason they feel that loudmouthing on this forum is justified. These actions and views don't reflect us as a community. I regret that they happened and I honestly tried to stop them.

Hey all, please don't ban me as I am trying (and have tried) to state my point fairly and clearly. Das, I really do appreciate the fact that you care. The world needs to be led by people who care. Yes, both of our sides made mistakes. That's regrettable but ultimately not very surprising. We're human. Also, a lot of posting has been going on that is NOT representative of the leadership of the new forums. Please take this to heart. But like I've said before, Grimy and I pretty much came to the table knowing that separation was more or less our final goal. Because what I think is most important, and what I think differentiates our future forums from tip it, is administrators and moderators that are active in discussions and the game. That's how mods make good, informed decisions and can make judgments in context. Maybe this is not realistic but I would really like to give this a try. And ultimately such a change would be impossible with you guys. There's no way I could ask you to give up many moderator and administrator positions. I hope we can maintain good relations. Our goal is in no way to overthrow or destroy tip it, just foster a community that has similar interests as us. Those interested in our new forums can contact me in game (The Ancient). Realistically I expect users to use both our forums and tip it. I know I'll still be lurking here, but I won't be as active in H&A, Guidewriting, and General Disc.

ive been thinking about cost effective nex setups and i'm leaning toward pernix cowl, chaps, virtus top/arma top for meleers. it's not too expensive (around 1b), has nice ranged accuracy (lower melee though), and gives you a nice ~1k HP before you have to brew. plus the only item you have to switch when ranging would be the top, so at most you'd be losing around 200 LP when switching items (assuming that you aren't damaged by nex at all during smoke, which is usually not true)

Seeing as they weren't in circulation anyways, probably nothing. It's more the hype / panic than anything.

Wonder what the impact will be on santas and rares.
