  1. Great guide. I followed the normal monkfish setup except I use bandos chest with ahrim's bottom, dfire shield, and sharks instead of monks. For karil and verac I use bandos tassets instead of ahrim's bottom. I've been doing 3 runs per trip with no trouble, and I've had awesome luck so far. :P Dharoks legs on my 3rd run, and ahrims robe and ahrims hood on my 14th and 15th run (same trip).
  2. What a disappointing thread. I was expecting clothes that match skill capes, not ugly outfits that include a skill cape and don't match at all.
  3. Very nice. Looks similar to the outfit I usually wear, but you really do need a hat, and I think legends cape/white boots look better with it than fire cape/desert boots. I don't wanna hijack your thread, but maybe mine will give you something to aim for. O:)
  4. Very nice. Not too smart to sell it while it's rising so quickly though... Unless you desperately needed cash ASAP.
  5. Very nice stats and bank, but I want to point something out - The highest total possible on a level 3 would be 819. That's with all combat stats at 1 with 4 prayer and 10 hp.
  6. What's up with your insanely low resolution? I hope you at least full screen your browser when you're playing.
  7. 10/10. Hoping for 99 slayer myself... Someday.
  8. Well, nobody has really asked for the details about exactly how I made my money, so here you go. I merchanted dragon bones when slayer came out because I knew 120+ combat players with 85 slayer were going to be getting rich as hell off whips, and most of them were looking to buy their bones for 98 prayer/126 combat. I ended up hitting the nail right on the head, and I guess I was the only person who came to that realization because as far as I could tell I was the only one merchanting dragon bones at the time. I merchanted them for about a month with basically no competition whatsoever, and then I invested in rares. During my long break to play WoW, my rares just sat in the bank gaining value, and when I finally came back, I was worth practically 10 times what I was worth before I quit.
  9. When I was level 60 or so I went to check out the range guild and as soon as I walked in some guy was coming down the ladder to the tower redbarred... I just saw him get hit for 1 damage in the corner of my screen and then he died. He dropped around 3m cash and a few other items which got me started merchanting. Thanks to him my bank looks like it does today, so I kept his bones. :
  10. Grats. He deserves to lose it for being such an idiot. 3rd age mage has less magic bonus than ahrims AND has 0 melee defense. He would have been better off just bringing 40m cash in his inventory.
  11. Pfft. I have both. E/sc/l classic and xpac. Lol.
  12. Lol yeah, I've actually seen you around lately but didn't think you'd remember me.
  13. I actually don't mind thieving that much... Don't know why, it just isn't as boring as everything else to me. It's a shame the cape/emote look so lame though or I might actually consider leveling it to 99 since pyramid plunder is really easy exp.
  14. The only 99s I can ever see myself buying are range/magic. :( I would say prayer, but I know there's no way I'd be able to level it to 99. Wayyyyyyy too boring.
  15. I spend too much time irl. Ask anyone on my list. :? I usually can only play 2-3 hours tops before I get bored and go do something else.
  16. Please quote one of my posts where I'm being an "egotistical, self-centred [bleep]..."
  17. The difference between 'like him' and 'he believes' is very discreet.. I guess you're simple not intelligent enough to interpret basic grammar. : Lol. Okay, stop spamming my thread now.
  18. Oh, well i guess im the only one who doesn't 'enjoy' having gold pieces lying in my bank, as opposed to a couple of 99 skills. Most people agree- Skills>Money. Spending hundreds of hours leveling extremely repetitive skills for basically no reward except a cape just isn't fun to me. I'm sorry I play the game differently than you.
  19. I'm working on maxing my combat stats, there's no way I'm wasting money on non-combat skills though. I take it you train at Pest Control? I cant see the pictures, but i guess by your arrogance its probably where you train. How am I arrogant? I simply don't enjoy leveling non-combat skills. I play this game for fun, I don't want it to feel like a chore.

  21. Okay, so... A friend asked me to take a bank pic and I decided to sort my bank for the pic. I didn't know it would end up taking 2 hours (no joke, and it still doesn't even look that organized imo. :( ) After a bit of thought I decided should post it here so all my time spent sorting wasn't in vain. :? Now for a little about me. I started playing RS in September 2004. After around a year of playing I took a year and a half break to play WoW. My guild stopped raiding and fell apart so I decided to come back to RS. The majority of my wealth came from merchanting. A decent portion came from staking when I wasn't as un-pure as I am now, and the rest is from monster drops/clues. Also keep in mind I cannot stand non-combat skills, hence my lack of non-combat materials. They are just extremely boring and unrewarding to me. I'd rather shoot myself in the face than level any of them again... Anyways, rate away!
