Yeh i understand that. Seriously how long does it take to set one up. You can easily make a post voting for a new host, or tell us. I get irritated by the spammers. Don't say leave if you don't like it, i like it, its just the spammers spoil it and with a active person it would be easier to stop them.

I know i have mentioned some names of people i see as reliable. But the point it lets take action and make a new host rather than keep talking about it. Spammers can't win i wont let them :twisted: !

I know that, im saying can't we have a new host. Its posted on the forums, Lightning is the host. Just need to change that and its done.

Before anyone flames me i just want to say this ISN'T a rant, im am just trying to make a point. Hopefully someone higher up will see my point rather than ignore my PM -.- I appreciate that mods would like to lock this thread but i request that you could leave it open for a while. I jusy want to know other peoples opinions on this. This is not a rant about chat mods, i think they do a great job i really do. (Call me a suck up and i will wish death upon you -.-) Also this is NOT a rant about lightning's chat, its the same as any other chat and im fine with it thats not the issue im traing to raise here. (well it is in a way i just didn't know how to put it. :shock: The problem i see is the "Spammers" (Social rejects whose mummy never gave them a kiss and a cuddle, for those who don't know what they are) The problem is that they consitently make a new account and spam us silly. Now i appreciate the mods can't kick them because they "Pre-Type" press enter and leave this isn't there fault, they can't do anything about that so please do not bring it up. People obviously report them, and lightning does add them to her ignore list its just too late though, by the time she comes online and ignores them Jagex have most likely already banned them and by that point we see new names in the chat, (most likely the same person/person's) The problem i have raised is that these players are added to the ignore list's too late to have any real effect. There is also an issue of these spammers attacking certain players, and using their names. DO NOT... tell me to add them to my ignore list, im thinking of everyone not myself here, and no matter how many times you tell people not everyone will do that. The solution is simple. Can we not just have a new chat host? Im thinking of some of the REAL runescape mods who are able to kick in the chat. They are obviously trusted people to get to be a mod. Such as Adam, or Lady. Or we could have one of the current generals who are very active. Im thinking on the lines of Gaara, or Rsw44, or ginger, deal and fudgy. But to be honest im would be happy with any active player to host the chat, so they could add these rulebreakers on the day they break the rules. This way they would have to waste time making a new account every 10 seconds, get bored and stop. Think of a clean chat, no spam, and knowing that any would get banned quickly and efficiantly. (And couldn't come back in a hour to spam us silly!) I Reqeust this thread doesn't get locked, i do really want to see how people feel about this. This is not a about lightning, just about the issue of spammers in the chat. Its just i don't think the chat we are using is working as well as it could be with a active player hosting it. Please keep on topic. PS... Mention the names of the people who you would like to see host the chat, it could work out as a vote but it would be up to the leaders to decide the outcome. Would be nice if we could come to a unanimous decision though. I will post a vote HERE, if we get enough people who reply and are interesting. If you want you can make nominees. Please note you CAN NOT nominate yourself. If you have any nominees please post then in your post, or pm me i don't mind either way. Hopefully we can actually take action this time around rather than give up.

I recon thats the most likely choice, but i also have my doubts. They released it late so what if people wanted to be a pure summoner from the begining but now can't because of this, will generate a lot of rants i would have thought.

I have seen a lot of people saying about level 3's getting monsters to do all the work. Now ASSUMING, this skill is seperate and does raise monster to fight for you it would HAVE to effect the combat level. Or level 3's would be overpowered. As its a new skill it would need to. If it doesn't effect the combat level it would be something like raising creatures to follow you around and play no part, unless they could make bank trips for you or something. Its either that or it will work like mage, raise the combat level but fade out to melle as you rase them skills. But i do like the idea of matching skills together Attack, and Strength Mage and Summoning Range and Agility to create attack, mage, and range accounts rather then all of them working out to become a melle account. What's wrong with people these days? That is what I think. Why would the combat level increase for a new skill? Then they would have to make all skills go up. Then, they would have to take everyones achievement capes away. Use your common sense boy... What the hell does raising the skills have to do with combat level. The new skill would go to 99, the new levels would already increase the current level of 126 above that. How does raising other levels even come into this. USE YOUR COMMON SENSE BOY

Well does it. I personally think if it is released as a new skill like suggested. Then it will obviously have something to do with combat. However how do you think it will work, like the current mage level and have no effect on skills if you raise melle. Do you think it will be part of mage and both will add together to make a "Mage" avater rather than a melle avater when all those skills are maxed out. Or do you think it could work like prayer, be seperate involved in all skills and raise the combat level to perhaps 150-160. I personally think it will effect it some how but in what ways? Discuss

woah theres your mistake. Fire blast tut tut tut . Your wearing melle armour to those blast will be useless. Use slayer dart, they are barly effect my mage negative. it takes me (usually) less than 150 casts per trip and i make all that back of the chest.

Well i dont even use a prayer pot.(always have one incase i get dharok in tunnel) Use full rune and slayer dart. Use prayer on Dharok 1st Then Ahrims. Any prayer you have left kill Veracs, he hits though it anyway so it will just reduce the damage. Torags is week and u dont need prayer Karil dds him and he will fall like a fly Guthans....well hes just a nub he averages about 14 damage on me each time i fight him. Inventory set up for me is Coins any amount, builds up from chest dont bother banking MSB, Mith arrows, or Rune C Bow, with mith bolts. Black d hide body and chaps in inventory. about 10 monks, usually less. The rest with lobbys, (mainly cause i got thousands in bank to use up) and 1 prayer pot just incase Slayer Staff, about 400 minds, and whatever the ratio is in deaths Make sure you get 14+ kills then you will often get minds and deaths from the chest and you wont need to keey buying them :)

I know, it confused me too at first. Computers rate the sums differently than we do. for a computer * and / have the same value, + and - also have the same value, but lower than * and / so if a sum has more than 1 of any of these symbols, it will work them out in its own preference. If the sum has two symbols of equal value, it will work them out in order of appearance. I added the brackets to show how the computer does it. 2+4*6+2*2-15=x the computer will see this as: 2+(4*6)+(2*2)-15=x so it will work out the *'s first: 2+(24)+(2*2)-15=x 2+(24)+(4)-15=x then it will work out the "lesser" expressions: 26+(4)-15=x 30-15=x 15=x you can alter its working out of the sum by incorporating brackets into the formula: (2+4)*(6+2)*2-15=x (6)*(8)*2-15=x [it will always work out bracket sums first, in order of appearance] 48*2-15=x 96-15=x 85=x a totally different sum altogether, to a computer :P like i dont get enough math at school..
