  1. cropping images/charactors out of rs requires time and skill, don't underestimate that signatures value. cut down the height of the images, it makes it look off.
  2. i'm going to assume with your timme period its a premade image and all you did was add dodge effects.

I'd like to get one thing straight. Those of you who feel I am "too harsh" when I criticise your work. Realise this, it's for oyur own good. You'll never get better hearing that your work is the best or your work is great when in truth it is far from. I criticise your work the way I do so you can become a better designer. constructive criticism: you can only produce contructive critism if the work your critisizing can be improved. "harsh" criticism: this is when I see that your style is one in which you can't learn anything from or just plain looks horrible. so before you go flaming me because I tell you your work sucks. realise it's to help you
  4. haha I thought it was a dolphin too.

however thank you for posting the renders creator, i do realise its a free render, I appologize for assuming you ripped it from a completed work. good luck.

all i wanted you to do was credit the origional creator instead of calling someone elses work yours. obviously it worked.
  7. Razy_m8 replied to a post in a topic in Art and Media
figures you had to steal an image off deviantart, you know that is beyond sad and pathedic. you take a render someone else made off da and photoshop it a bit. you even took out the origional creators name and about 1/4 of the image.
  8. ugh, i'll try to help you before you get carried away with your noobish ways. filters are. BAD styles are BAD tool pallet. GOOD

Just a little combat sig I made up. if youd like one like this, we can arrange a price here.
  12. if noone won yet, i'll make an entry.
  13. fact of the madder is, you cant turn back time and i know for a fact noones gonna delete their ripped software just because you asked.
  14. once again, a sig that looks just like all the other billion filtered styled sigs, my c&c, ditch that horrible sig make a new one without filters or styles and be more creative and origional. bad mouth my critism all you want. It can't change the fact that the sig you produced is far from good.
  15. quite a few mistakes, pretty close though.
  16. we need banner dimensions, what the sites about. and what the layout looks like.

  18. Razy_m8 replied to a post in a topic in Art and Media
yeah your right, 7 years of photoshop experience... i cant make a sig  ANYWAY, i say these because you need to know how overused that style is.

i offer 2gp for both just so noone ever has to see these again.
  20. I leave these final words: those interested in becoming designers not money makers. visit design forums and ask for advice. be prepaired to leave your old styles behind and take your creativity to its limits. as much as you may hate selecting a brush it's neccesary, and im not talking those premade brushes either. As much as those filters do for you. (work wise) it's not what clients want and after you realise that, it wont be what you want either. If your in design for pleasure, like myself it becomes alot easier. dodge and burn tools are a great tool to use, they can really provide your image the kick it needs. no images is perfect, any image can be better then it is. realise this and you'll really learn alot quicker. that is some of the advice i can offer you all.
  21. before assuming my latest post was about you, maybe you should think. photoshop is a creating prgram, made for desinging websites, and many other things, not editing. it just happens to be a good editing tool.
  22. see, your still under the impression that your filtered work is "good" i never said pixel sigs either, any 5 year old can slap on a bunch of lighting effects and blurs. but you design "noobies" will only keep telling yourself your work is good. so me stating anything beyond this will be useless.
  23. why? its design related.
