  1. Well after a quick calculation doing ALL the quest that give Def Experience and some of the quests that let's you choose I "only" get 322462 exp in defence which according to tip.it combat calculator is 61 Def (or 62 if I immediately do Branches of Darkmeyer). Seems like a good challenge to me...
  2. I decided to make a Turmoil Zerker cause I read that they were pretty good for both pvm and pvp (even though that isn't my first intention) and for the challenge of the low levels. I mostly intend to hunt monsters, though I am not against pking.
  3. How would having Def 65 impact on a "Turmoil Zerker" account? I was checking the requirement for both WGS and it needs 64 Def. At first I didn't care, I would pass on the opportunity to do what seems to be a really fun quest; but I would still be able to use Dragon Claws so no big deal... but since RotM needs WGS to be started now I am really considering ditching the idea of a Turmoil Zerker and just play normally trying to make the best of my account. But on the other hand playing at CL 33 with just 3 defence has proved to be fun and challenging so maybe trying to get to Def 65 just by questing seems like a nice challenge and that would get me access to other really nice stuff (Bandos armour for example)... but I am still not sure, so I would love to hear some opinions on the subject. Here is a little outdated screenshot of my skills... except that I trained RC to 15, DG to 5, WC 30, FM 30, LP to 34, Str to 33 and Attack to 34 (I need to take a new screenshot don't I  ) Quests done: Demon Slayer The Blood Pact cook's Assistant Rune Mysteries Myths of White lands Restless Ghost Thanks in advance
  4. Right now I am not sure what I am going to do, I asked because I wanted to make a little money to start buying my prayers level and I figured out that if I could train another skill "easily" it would be better in the long run. But as I said I will have to re-think my short term plans.
  5. So train magic in combat till level 43... well it could be worse I think Thanks in any case...
  6. As the title say, if I can find something at least a bit profitable I will train magic that way till I get Superheat....
  7. I know I have not been updating in a long time and I am sorry; but OTH I have been somewhat busy training and I got some nice levels since the last time I updated this blog, sadly I forgot to take screenshots of individual level ups; but to compensate here is a screenshot of my current levels: I know I did say I wanted to get Attack and Strength 40 before start skilling; but I got bored of it so I decided to branch out; but now I have to get the three most boring skills to 30 and I am dreading doing that....
  8. I just got 31 Ranged..figure I should continue training on minotaurs or go to other place? My current goal is Range 40
  9. My problem with buying Adamant arrows is the price, I am sure it would be faster xp using them; but the cost when I don't know how I will recover it is making me doubt it.
  10. Umm I am free to play, otherwise I would be training with crossbows >_> <_<
  11. I managed to get a stock of 650 Mith arrows and roughly 500 Iron arrows,(<- This lasted me from 20-30 and I haven't used them all) in the minotaurs. Why Adamant arrows though? Is the extra damage worth the increased costs? Right now I am only training so I don't have a real source of income at the moment therefore I prefer to spend as little as possible.
  12. Right now many of the f2p worlds have less than 100 players at the moment...
  13. I was trying with minotaurs cause they usually drop iron arrows and there is a really neat safespot in the stronghold of security so I can refresh my supplies almost constantly and I can camp them without troubles; but I am going to try the barbarians for a bit and see how I fare against them and I thought they use throwing axes  .
  14. I did try Minotaurs at first; but I couldn't hurt them reliably... I spend around 5 minutes on one, right now I just reached level 11 so I am going to try it again though.
  15. I got bored of training melee combat so I decided to start training ranged, as of now I am level 7 ranged using a bog standard longbow on the chicken pen near lumbridge. I am sure there are better spots or perhaps another more efficient way to do it; but I don't know... so suggestions?
  16. Well right now I am training on the flesh crawler and I am already up to 32 Attack and 30 Str and yesterday I took a detour to train magic to 22. Thank you all, everything has been wonderful advice. And it has helped me a lot.
  17. Another update, at the rate I am going I will start skilling by tomorrow
  18. That's funny, because when I was training my ranged2her on fleshies, I managed to find a world all to myself :s There may be a lot of bots, but you can still find rooms/worlds without too many of them. You could also kill men in edgeville. Yeah after a bit World hopping I found a mostly empty world (just another person at the minotaurs; but I am sure it was a bot) First of all, thank you so much for taking the time to type all of that, it is really useful to have a reference; but I have to disagree that my low non-combat stats are destroying my trips, I am perfectly self-sufficient with the food I fish and cook myself (trout and salmons) and I average at 40-50 ish kills per trip (around two full inventories of bones) I also did all the levels of the SoS and the SoPS netting myself around 15K so I can buy the essentials right now (an addy scimmy is waiting in my bank while I get 30 attack) so I can buy any essentials I need at the moment, and some of the drops of the minotaurs will help me (I have been hoarding the iron arrows so I have a good stack of them for when I start training range). I plan to start skilling and questing after getting 40 Attack and 40 Strength. Again, I really appreciate you took all that time to help me  I do have that guide bookmarked; but right now the only thing it tells to me is finish all f2p quest  now, when I become p2p that is another story... Well P2P is far in the horizon, I don't think I'll become a member till January or so...
  19. I got my current stats there; I decided to change because I felt for a change; but if I don't find a good place to train I'll return there.
  20. Sadly P2P is not an option at the moment, so I'll keep to f2p HexiledRazz is right, I have tryed all both the SoPS and the SoS and the place is swarming with bots, I'll check the guards in the Black Knight fortress; but I am a little worried as most monsters rip through my armour (Iron) which cuts my training trips shorts because I run out of food quite fast.
  21. I am doing currently trying to make a Turmoil Zerker; but at the moment I am f2p, so I was wondering what was the best place I can train with my current stats
  22. Updated You know, having level 2 defense is dangerous even against low-level monsters... I am ashamed to say I died twice today  because I wasn't paying attention at my life points and forgot to eat.... In other news, with attack & strength at 20 and Combat level 18, should I move to better training places? I originally intended to move to the first level of the stronghold of Security; but the Stronghold of Safety and the Cockroach Drones sound tempting.
  23. I want to get at least 75 Atk for the godswords and I figured out, "Hey I' m so near chaotics, so why not?" Still that is a long way into the future, si I'll worry about that when the time comes.
  24. Edited the first post, and added some stuff I did today
