1. Thanks, I'll post a screenshot later today so you can see my progress. Right now my plan is to train Attack and Str to 20-ish in the Lumbridge catacombs before heading to the Stronghold of Security to train there until level 40ish, before starting doing all the f2p quests. I am also training fishing and cooking since I need a way to keep my LP up.
2. About me Hey! My name is Alberto and I am an 18 (almost 19) years old male from México. I am currently studying Mechanical Engineering in a local university. I have read Tip.it guides for a long time before I even knew it had a forum, so I just recently joined. I have played Runescape since I was 10, playing with my first account (the one in my sig) sporadically for these 9 years, and to be honest my account is boring me now, that is why I decided to start fresh with a new account; but instead of a normal I chose to try a Turmoil Zerker, this thread is as much for me to chronicle my journey as yours to comment, criticize and suggest my quest to have a Turmoil Zerker
My Final Goals:] 80 Attack 99 Strength 45 Defence 99 Constitution 95 Magic 70 Ranged 99 Prayer 99 Summoning
Short Term Goals] 40 Attack & 40 Strength Doing all f2p Quest : 2/19 The Character is named Cruorgix and was created 29/IX/2011

I forgot to take the screenshots of the "You advanced X level" so you get the end result

29|IX|2011: Created Account 30|IX|2011: Quests Completed: The Blood Pact, Cook's Assistant, Skill levels gained: 14 Attack, 4 Strength, 1 Defence, 4 Constitution, 1 Magic 3 mining, 2 smithing, 24 fishing, 23 cooking 1|X|2011: Skills Level Gained: 4 Attack, 15 Strength, 5 Constitution, 1 Prayer, 6 Fishing, 7 Cooking 6|X|2011: Skills level Gained 8 Attack, 8 Strength, 6 Constitution 11 Prayer, 4 Magic, 2 Fishing, 2 Cooking
3. I don't care about the time I would have to invest, I want to have a clear goal so I keep myself focused, I found that I enjoy the game much more that way. Besides I like questing.
4. I took a break from Runescape the last few months so I could get a feel on whether I could juggle college work and playing; now I think I will be able to keep up with all my work and still manage 1 or 2 hours of daily play, which is enough for me. The problem is that I am not sure if I should continue playing my mine account (stats in sig) or start a new type of account. So far I've only discarded a DIY account, as I am not sure I would like all the limitations inherent to that kind of account; but I have been reading a lot about Turmoil Zerkers and it seems interesting and perhaps a good option to start an account more PVP-minded account; but I am open to suggestions. Another thing of utmost importance is that this account will start as a f2p account and will likely be that way at least till December so if that has some bearing into what would be the best option please tell me. Thanks in advance
5. The bots are starting to use foreign worlds too, the Green Dragons in the Mexican Server is infested with bots for example.
6. I got my dragon defender in ~ under two hours, though I was in multi-token mode and wearing a RoW so that might have affected it. (curiously enough the Dragon Defender was relatively the fastest drop, just three or so Cyclops in contrast to the adamant defender which were about 20....)
7. I think I'll sell them, really I don't see much point on having them.... and why must prayer be so boring to train :???:
8. Out of some uncontrollable aversion against not picking drops, after an hour or so in the Warrior's guild Cyclops arena.. I have ~150 big bones in my bank, and I don't know what to do with them, as the prayer xp is bad (15 per bone) and they are relatively cheap (round 300-400 GP IIRC)... so does anybody have a good idea on what I should do with them?
9. Polivineach? Might do I am not that fond on the trolls cause I have spend far too much money on ppots right now and I haven't got good drops (best I have has been an addy warhammer), I'll buy a super set ASAP though You know I totally forgot I was already eligible for the Warrior's guild... it was actually my secondary goal for Atk 70, it was n burthope right? And I have been collecting the parts for my eventual Slayer Helm (I already have a black mask and a hexcrest \:D/ ) I'll see about the dragon boots.
10. My membership is going to expire next week and I want to get the 70 ATK to wield a whip, it has been my goal for all summer and I really would like to get it. So far I have trained it from 40-ish (by late may) to 69 with Slayer. I currently have a Troll task; but to my (untrained) eye they don't seem like good experience. As far as equipment go I have full prossy, full rune, a dragon simmy, obsidian cape, rune boots obsidian shield and a glory amulet.
11. Yeah, I noticed that, for now I think I'll do the In search/aid of myrique questline so I have faster trips.
12. Just returned from my first Barrow Trip, I got 23K in chaos runes, bolt racks a ppot and a super defence with 6 on the kill count
13. Update: I have just started the minigame and I have already kill Dharok, Kharil , Verac and Ashrim
14. I got a funny story for you, I finally got to the Barrows yesterday..just to notice that I forgot my spade :wall:
15. Nice, I'll try to do my first trip today; but I am not sure if I will be able to...
16. Ok, here is my current Worn Equipment Farseer Helm Amulet of Glory Proselyte Hauberk Proselyte Cuisse Obsidian Cape Anti-dragonfire Shield Slayer Staff 300 Adamant Bolts Mystic Gloves Mystic Boots Ring of Wealth ( I don't have any better ring) Inventory Ectophial 513 Death Runes 2245 Mind Rune Dragon Dagger (p++) Super Defense (4) 4 (Prayer Potions) Adamant Crossbow Green D'hide Body & chaps 15 Monkfish.
17. I thought it also affected the chance of getting Barrow Equipment. In any case what should I replace the DScimmy with? More food? more Ppots? Edit: I am not planning to use it as a money maker, I just want to try my hand at Boss monters, if I do get a nice drop I will most likely sell it as money is a bit tight at the moment. I also plan to pray against all brothers, so maybe using proselyte might be better....
18. Why not? isn't that the way to get better rewards?
19. After a lot of slayer training I just got to 55 so I can now cast Slayer/Magic Dart. Do you reckon I will be able to take on the Brothers with the following equipment and stats? Edit: the DScimitar is for getting the kill count in the tunnels Thanks in advance
20. Then I will train magic & slayer...
21. I think I'll do that; but wouldn't it be better to melee Kharil?
22. So does anybody see any problem with my plan?
23. Ok, my plan then is doing monkey madness (to get a dragon scimmy), train slayer to 55 and magic to whatever I can reach with my current runes (I think to 60...) and then do the barrows trip.
24. I think I will try to train my slayer level to 55 at the least before I attempt the brothers, just hopping I get better asigment than basilisk >_<
25. I guess I could train magic and slayer at the same time, I have an unfinished basilisk task, and according to Tip.it magic calculator, I have enough rune in my bank to level to 55 magic, though I am not sure if the basilisk are the best option to train magic at my level...
