  1. Well then I guess I'll bite the bullet and spend those tokens on XP to get my level 40 in Dungeoneering. By the time I will be able to use a chaotic I am sure I will have enough tokens then. For now I guess I'll work on prayer... now I am only missing 6 levels and I could train my combat level at giants.
  2. Thanks for all the replies... How do you get those figures for a large dungeon? The max XP I have got is arround 2 K  To be honest the few times I have done a floor in a party I've had bad experiences.... and AFAIK most Dungeoneering clans have really steep requirements I don't have; but if you have suggestions concerning that I am all ears. Care to elaborate what do you mean by the sweet-spot? I hear frequently that dong that is the best way to level up; but wouldn't that kill your token acquisition? I am not against facing enemies with combat levels higher than me, I think that more than anything was the shock to be able to solo every boss I encountered before without much trouble, except for the skeleton horde; but I think that is because I don't have protection prayers. And well my problem with the Rammernaut was that I was constantly splashing against it... I didn't found any chaos runes and had to rely on earth strike  Again thanks for everything guy, this is really helpful.
  3. The problem is that all the bosses I have been fighting are way over my combat level, for example I just finished trying to rush a C1 furnished and the boss was the riff sp'liter at combat level 84 or something like that, I died at least 10 times before I called it quits and I was trying to mage him with earth bolt (highest level spell I could cast with the runes given) and I don't think I even managed to damage him. Yesterday I found the Rammernaut at combat level 88 and he tore me a new one.....
  4. I don't think so my average floor speed is around 15 minutes for a small C6
  5. Here is the deal, I am trying to get all f2p skills (except RC and Defence) to 40 before getting membership and currently I am only missing Dungeoneering (39) and Prayer (34). While it might be inefficient I have been solo-ing all my Dungeoneering levels and I have enjoyed it very much and right now I am just starting furnished floors; but the problem is that I can'r finish those floors as the bosses utterly destroy me. I am pretty sure it is due my combat level (48). I have three options I am considering to get those pesky 3,032 XP for level 40. Increasing my combat level to something like 60 Doing lower floors to get that XP Using Alternate XP sources (Three is Company and exchanging my Dungeoneering tokens for XP would give that XP according to my calculations) My combat skills are 43 Attack 50 Strength 10 Defence Prayer 34 Constitution 47 Range 40 Magic 45 and my Bind is a fracticte 2h.
  6. Was fishing lobbies at Karamja and there was noob in full black offering to make p-hats...claiming you only needed level 51 crafting. :wall: And he kept insisting even when almost everyone who was there called him on that.
  7. Thank you... and the emote is AWESOME  I am really liking this update; but I have a question concerning Loyalty points... do you get them when you subscribe or when you re-subscribe?
  8. Emote? What emote?
  9. Dusk Souls replied to TC3's topic in Help and Advice
Witht the new money pouch wouldn't alching the concentrated gold be better? you are saving one inventory slot.
  10. Wait, then why is the toolbar IE and Firefox only? :| Better question, why does the official RS client doesn't have that tool bar?
  11. The toolbelt looks great; but I am a bit pissed that you can't store items better than bronze....
  12. I feel bad cause I started this new blog and I haven't updated this since I first posted..... so in any case here is my advancement In short I advanced 55 skill levels and I am much near my goal of getting all the f2p skills to 40, just need to finish Prayer (I need a good way of making money, perhaps selling lobsters?), Fishing, Firemaking, Runecrafting ( :???: ) and Dungeoneering ( I really hate the Skeleton Horde boss... it is simply awful to solo)
  13. I think the idea was to have an altar and a portal to cannifis to get an extra inventory space; but I think the medallion makes that less useful but I am not sure :-?
  14. I have been here for a short amount of time and I still see your great work here, Congratulations
  15. The Zombie (or Skeleton) monkeys under the temple in Ape Atoll is a great place to train as the monkeys give good XP, have a good respawn rate and you can camp indefinitely by using a melee prayer as there is a temple to recharge the Prayer points extremely close. Now I did it from Attack 60 to 72 there so I am not sure if it is still good for near maxed stats.
  16. So I just need practice figures <_< Nah, thanks for the tips, I'll try with Superhuman Strength and Improved Reflexes until I get the protection prayers
  17. I asked for the low-level prayers as right now I have 31 prayer and thought that by PF I could increase my DPS even by a little it would be a good idea. Also I am f2p at the moments (though I plan to become a member in january)
  18. I have read that prayer flashing is one of the most useful things to do in combat; but I really can't get the hang out of it. So if there is a guide/video/whatever that can help me I would really appreciate a link. Also is it worthwhile to flash low level prayers like superhuman strength? I know the high level curses are usually the go to (particularly SS and Turmoil AFIAK); but I don't know if I should bother with the other ones.
  19. In my experience the few bots left are auto-typers; but I haven't been the normal botting stops so I am not sure.
  20. As you may or may not know, recently I decided to start a new with runescape by making a new account and in order to keep me motivated to play and make the most of it I intended to make a Turmoil Zerker Account. I really intended to do that; but then after a bit of research I found that a Turmoil Zerker was mutually exclusive with both WGS and with RotM, quest which I really would like to do because: a) I love Questing b) I really would like to try monster hunting and from what I see Tormented Demons and Glacors are both fun and good moneymakers. So in the end I decided to scrap the Turmoil Zerker and instead decided to make a "Challenge account", in this case I won't train Defence except by questing. This came from the fact that the low defence make it quite a challenge to stay alive even against low-level monsters (perhaps I am just a bad player  ) Still here are my current stats: [spoiler=And my Short term goals:]All f2p stats to 40 All f2p quests done (I really should start questing...)
  21. Ok I see.... well off to finish ticking those floors
  22. I am just level 15 and though I know it is better to use other XP sources on DG till higher levels I really I am really enjoying doing solo dungeons. Also to the best of my knowledge there are extremely few XP items like lamps in f2p. Therefore I want to get the best XP rates I can. From what I understand I shouldn't reset my prestige unless I have ticked all of the floors I am currently able to do right? And does complexity have something to do with it, I am doing small dungeons complexity 6. Thanks in advance.
  23. To be honest one of the things that drew me to RS on the first place and to a degree still do, is the fact that I can play it anywhere I want without having to download anything. Though I see what you mean... perhaps if you could run it from a thumb drive. On another note one of the reasons for RS current kiddy image is the time it was advertised on mini-clip; but that is just my opinion
  24. To be honest the more I think about this, the less it seems like a pure account and the more it looks like a challenge...
  25. The thing is that I don't have the time nor the inclination to have two accounts so that would be my main account. As I've said I considered a Turmoil Zerker because it was both able in PVP and PVM, with the second being more important to me. Besides I love questing that is one of the things I get most enjoyment in RS. And finally getting to that level only through questing sounds really really fun for me so I'll try to that way.
