All this means is they'll take less risk and take a more mainstream approach. They're not completely beholden to investors, but making sure they're happy is a definite focus. This deal was already set in motion a year ago, they're just now getting the finances done. Loyalty rewards, the teaming up with Target, Gamestop etc... For "exclusive" items is probably as a result of taking a more mainstream approach. They very well could just make the whole game f2p to salvage whatever is left of it, I wouldn't be surprised if the wheels were already in motion for that ride, not in the immediate future, but... Yeah. Not to say a private company can't do the same, but investors really don't care about the history and preserving what is Runescape; well, obviously to a certain extent, in that a major change could mean less money, but in general I'm saying.

I have my laptop and a 32" TV with my PS3 hooked up right beside me, I usually just watch movies while training, or talk to my fiancee. I'm not the best multi-tasker, meaning I can't really play MW3 and still focus on even the more AFKable tasks in rs, but games like DA:Origins are usually fine, more confined, slower paced games.

I'd be completely done with RS. There are plenty of games like that rising up that aren't FB; DC universe's online playerbase shot up 1000% when they switched to using that model, and it's sort of expected out of "dying" or "dead" Mmos to milk whatever left.

Currently, are most bots gone from RS? I'm not expecting them to be away for long, but a little solitude away from the bots would be worth it.

Some kid threatened me with a knife over Pokemon Silver :P the same day he was caught with it and expelled. 4th grade :) -- Pretty ridiculous though, a couple of young teens telling him they'll kill him if he doesn't hand over RS stuff.

Not true (although it was for the first one or two days following the update, but they added in the second check as mentioned below). I have the classic cape, and I do not have classic access. Why? Because my account was created in Classic, so I did play classic at some point. In determining whether or not you can get the classic cape, there seems to be 2 checks: 1. Does the account have classic access at the moment? 2. Was the account created in classic? If it satisfies either of those, you should be able to get the classic cape. It was created in classic, but according to their website I do not have access to classic because I wasn't logged in during 05-06, nor was I here for the 09' re-opening. But seeing as you have the cape, I should be able to get it. Thanks.

I know there are enough questions about these capes, but I searched and found nothing that could help me. Anyway, I have two accounts that have logged into RSC, one was perm banned in 07', and the other is level 3. I have probably only gotten one skill level on the level 3 and that's getting level 2 woodcutting. With such limited play time, if I were to get members could I get the RSC cape? Anyone have experience?
