Wow man, you're a beast. If I'm home this weekend, which I wont be Saturday, I would love to come to your party if I can. If I don't get to make the party though, congratz on the 99's. Also sick bank. Totally jealous of the mask/30k tallies and bones. I wish I was the one that cut those 147k williows so I'd be that much closer to 99 woodcutting, heh.

"One of our fundamental philosophies is that having fun is more important to us than making as much money as possible." Words Jagex once spoke. They have let players down though. It surprised you a company as large as Jagex lied? Hell any politician running for office lies. Not so much surprised as I am disappointed. And yeah, I understand that about politicians. Then again I have a strong dislike for politicians, heh. -

This doesn't have any real affect on my playing of the game. I don't agree with the whole idea though. I don't like the thought of a lot of things that have been introduced to the game in recent years that make it easier than it previously was, but in a way I certainly understand them. I understand these type of updates and things can help Jagex pull in more members and such, which I understand is important for them. At the same time though I feel like it discourages many of the old school players who played for years grinding and grinding with none of these type updates to help them a long the way, and now its making it so much easier to gain the levels they grinded so long for, and it probably kinda kills the game for them because the accomplishments they once had means a lot less now. Anyway, eh, I see the advantages for Jagex and obviously some players too. Eh, whatever. Maybe they wont do too much to screw the game up, heh. -
Knowing people bot for a 99 or multiple 99s doesn't bother me. Its not a big deal to me. I play the game to blow off steam, escape real life stress, and just relax. I don't play to have huge accomplishments. Don't get me wrong though accomplishing things on this game is cool for me, but I don't base my personal accomplishments on what other players are doing. I don't know if I'm being clear or not, but what I'm saying is that I know how hard I have to work towards accomplishments so I'm proud of them no matter how meaningless they are to others, they are meaningful to me and I play the game for myself. That being said the bots overcrowding certain areas of the game does get annoying, but I deal with it and march on. EDIT; I don't want Jagex to make the game easy. Or should I say any easier. Because over the years the game has become much easier. I mean its much easier now than it was when other people were maxing out. That's not to take away from anyone who's maxed out recently, its still a HUGE accomplishment that takes time and dedication. Honestly though, at one time 126 combat was a semi-rare thing, and if you had its because you had been playing for a long time. With things like Pest Control and such, its become much easier to level up to that point. I know it still takes a long time, don't get me wrong, but not nearly as long as it did for people who trained before PC and such mini-games.

I have supplies for 50 right now. Then I'll be working on 50 mage and dung. Then I am going to focus on one skill and level it in a S U O M I type fashion [focus on it non-stop] for a while. Except my training wont be nearly as efficient/pro as S U O M I lol. Edit; I also have to get 50 smithing and mining [both 42 atm] before I'm happy, lol. Wow, my brain is dead from all this runecrafting. Said 99 mage, but meant 50 lol. -

Got 40 runecrafting. It seems like its taking forever, but hey, its going so that's good. Also, I got 41 before I got the screenshot for 40 posted. Also while runecrafting in the air alter in world 16 I ran into fellow tip.it member Medaragon. I was going to snap a picture of him in his yellow party hat, but then he decided to put on this nooby looking mask!! *Jealous* But in all seriousness, it was really cool to see someone who recognized me from this forum/this thread, heh. -

Thanks! Yeah its one of those skills that tends to erk me a bit. Not that I dislike it, but I love browsing a couple of different forums and if you're RCing all the time, you have no time for that. With Woodcutting/Fishing/Cooking/Smithing and such I have a few seconds while I'm getting logs/fish/cooking fish/making something where I can refresh the forums and such, but with RC you're running the entire time and there's no time for that. While I'm sitting here rambling on my account is logged into RuneScape and its going nowhere! [see my point! LOL] -

I got bored with combat training so once I reached 70 combat I decided to do some skilling. Just reached 50 fishing and cooking. I will now invest in 16.2k rune essence for 50 runecrafting. This will take a while to make the 628 trips from the bank to the air alter, but I will eventually get it done, lol. I will then probably work on 50 mining and smithing. Those are my goals for right now. Nothing set in stone though, I will probably end up changing it up before its all played out, but hey, that's ok as long as it gets done. Here's my crappy bank picture just for laughs lol. -

Very nice! Congratz on 84 mage! -
I'm really bad about standing idle for entirely too long reading other forums or something else. That type of thing severally cuts into my exp rates, which I shoot for because I am the type of person that loves grinding skills but unfortunately have a hard time staying focused.

I'm nothing special but can I be added to the ftp list just for future reference. At least if I can continue pushing for my goals. RSN: ViT0C0RLEONE First two O's are zeros last one is the letter. F2P is my status. Thanks in advance.

^Yeah, but you're a machine dude. I've been playing for about a month now, and although I haven't trained dung much I'm still only 23. I solo everything, and honestly, haven't done it enough to grasp the entire concept, but I know the levels some of you guys, mostly you, are putting up are crazy good. Also, gratz on all the new achievements Kaida!

I have been rather busy with school starting back and such, so I have not been updating this thread. Things have settled down a bit now though so I will be, hopefully, updating regularly now. I will have an updated screenshot of my stats later tonight. -

Thanks to the both of you, you've both been a huge help. I have achieved 40 crafting [41 actually] and made a little profit of of the amulets too. Very quick and easy. Thanks again to the both of you. -

I will be focusing on Dung and Runecrafting later because I know those two will take a lot of time and I will have to focus on the two of them a lot in order to get them as high as I'd like. So they will be put off until a bit later. I'm not forgetting them though. As for regular crafting I've been debating for a while what I should do for crafting. I need something that's not costly, as I am unfortunately very very limited on funds. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. -

Thanks. I saw a post where you had mentioned to someone they should get 15 Dung. so they could have access that, so that's what I've been working on the last little while. I'm kinda slow with Dung. because I always solo it by myself. So I just finished that and made my way to the mines. Thanks again for the help. -

I will have an updated stats picture later today or tonight. I've been trying to mine just a bit today but its the skill that's the hardest for me. All the mines that I can think of using are a long way from a bank. I don't want to drop my ores because I need them for smithing. I would buy the ores but I know I'm not nearly rich enough to buy the ores for smithing. So I am kinda in a catch-22 here. Any suggestions on mines that are good to use for low level mining, keeping in mind I need to keep the ores. I'm 34 mining by the way. -
Is this game even playable anymore?
ViT0C0RLEONE replied to PumpkinPete112's topic in Help and Advice
Is the game unplayable because of bots? No. Do I sometimes become annoyed by the bots? Yes. The thing that annoys me is not the fact they exist but the fact the gold they make on them is usually being sold for their benefit. That followed by others who buy the golds benefit in the game, I guess, eh. -

Ahh yeah. See I trained on low level things like Cows mostly to get 20+ in defence and such because I needed the cowhides to craft. So I guess that's always an option, if you're patient enough to find a world they aren't extremely crowded lol.
