There is also the bonus points in that it focuses on something crucial to the Avatar's existence and origins rather than hinting at ships or something in middle of a sideplot. Unalaq was too obvious to make the reveal shocking and Varrick, as surprising as he was, isn't a huge threat on the grand scale since he is just being another shrewd businessman. Vauutu provided that nice bit as a villain that the others couldn't quite fufill. Oh, I am still surprised they added some Greek Mythological references to the episodes, like how one can compare Wan to Prometheus since he stole fire to give to the lower beings. Speaking of Vaatu, I feel like I learned of his name along with Raava's from Hindu-based mythology for some reason.

You know, we now are aware of how the Avatar can bend all four elements so what is stopping the possibility of the Vaatu possessing someone like Unalaq (possible candidate) and try invoking a "dark avatar" sort of thing? Sure, he will likely either mutate and/or kill Unalaq before being resealed or get sealed along with him, but it still leaves interesting possibilities of a battle at the end. Still weird we're already halfway in Book 2 so far. It's going by fast.

Raava and Vaatu. Why do those two names sound so familiar? The Sting, while a shocking episode, really didn't impress me as much as The Beginnings. Seeing how the Avatar is able to bend all four elements was nice but too me awhile to realize that while the Lion Turtles gave them bending abilities, I forgot it was the Dragons/Sky Bison/Moon/Badger Moles who taught them how to do it properly. Granted, it brings up a lot of holes like the Omashu incident. Also, is it just me, or does Wan have Mako's face with Sokka's horrible luck.

I have yet to run into a Shiny in X/Y, likely due to not encountering as many mons. My first unscripted shinies were a Dunsparce and Geodude. Also, I decided to take the time to upload the saved photos I took in Kalos to my computer. Here is my weird fashion sense (the first is the most recent):

Seriously, was making a streak in the Battle Masion and I ended up getting maimed by a Rydon sporting a Quick Claw. 3 times in a row, it activates. 3 times in a row, it scores a critical hit. Mega Lucario w/ Close Combat should OHKO'd its ass. Surprisingly, this is the first time I ever got hax'd by a battle facility.

Found a rather nice Easter Egg. If you go to one of the southern houses in Courmarine City, there is a guy with the Ace Trainer sprite that will offer to play you a certain song from the Gen V games. The song in question is "Emotion". Has anyone been making any weird discoveries playing X & Y yet? EDIT: Talking to the girl with her Marill in Courmarine's Hotel with the lead Pokemon having high friendship rewards you with a Lucky Egg.

I did ace one of those restaurants (the 15K poke one). Do I simply have to take part in each one or just enter the building? And as for "landmarks", which would apply? Paying 100k Poke on a restaurant even though I could use it for fashion isn't something I like.

Finished the (main) game at 21:26, but that was due to Exp Share being broken more than anything. Literally, that thing basically gave the concept of grinding a long middle finger. Overall, the game credits are the best part to me, which was equal parts heartwarming and awesome. It's almost impossible not to feel something from it. The multiple language bit was a really nice touch. On the downside, I felt like the game was... missing something. I cannot say for certain because I will have to see if the Post-Game is short as people claim it. The team was Greninja, Charizard, Lucario (was meant to be Aegislash, but no idea where to get a Dusk Stone), Heliolisk (an electric type that can be taught Surf was one of my favorite surprises), Hawlucha, and Meowstic (F). Was kind of expecting the last one to be like the other regional felines, but she turned out to be quite impressive. EDIT: Now I will likely take it slow on the Y file I bought, and I really should figure out how the Amie exactly works. Anyways, have fun! EDIT 2: Okay, even if I handed the Champion's ass on a silver platter and got Pokemon's equivalent to Knighthood or a Medal of Honor, the Boutique in Lumiose still tells me to screw off because I am not fashionable enough.

Seems you are forced to catch the title legendary once again. No matter what I tried, Xerneas just laughs at me and goes "Hey, catch me! :3" Seeing the boss cry really surprised me, but not as much as the backstory and plot.

Got my female Froakie on 2nd try. Unfortunately, she suffers a case of "does not know their own strength" since it keeps massacring the wild mons I am trying to capture too quickly. On upside, it's not a Nuzlocke Challenge.

Bought my X and Y copies today. I think the file reset method for the Gen VI games is different or something (bought one as a temp file for challenges, nuzlockes, etc). Soft resetting for a starter with a good nature is being a pain given the cutscene.

Well, Gen VI officially starts in 48 hours, 79 minutes from now for me. I got plenty of time to concoct my interpretations, rip them hell out of context, and share it with the Tipiters who read this. Pure child's play.

Warning: This is a lengthy episode. If you’re here to see the cute moemons, you are in luck. Otherwise, get some snacks. Sorry about the delay. I was having a mild breakdown and questioned how I should change my approach, so I changed it towards to the more focus on the moemons, which is the main premise of this hack. With Pokemon X/Y now out, it’s very likely progress will crawl to a slow halt, or slower halt. Something of that sort. In fact, this will be the last update until X/Y comes out and may be while before I add a new "Episode" (read: mostly finished with X/Y). [spoiler=Episode 3: The First Level of Early Game Hell] Now that Oak had, without breaking a sweat, drafted me into his sick and horrid project, it was clear than I would be facing an extremely uphill battle for the freedom of myself and all Moemon. Like every startup revolutionary, me and Clara knew we would need to play their game to win, and that mean acquiring allies and tools. But first, we needed a map! That was easier than I expected. Daisy is a far cry from what Samuel and Luigi are. Maybe there are likeminded human beings who get it. We made our return to Route 1, sinister shill and all. This time though, we had a mean of befriending potential allies. Zhu Zhu was the first of many, a bit of a worrywart though. Good thing I cannot read Pokenese. Karen, a rather weird Mankey, joined not long after. The duo we were became a five man band, but a rather weak one at that. There was no way we were going to be beating any Gym Leaders like this. So we made like little sissies and manned up, even though the genders said otherwise. For something with 95% accuracy, missing with Tackle was a rather common occurrence… But the obnoxious grinding and bad luck was worth it! Now let’s find Luigi and kick his entitled ass! Hello, you jerk. If anyone knows how to ruin the mood, you’re the go-to guy. And what’s wrong with some tourism? You’re one to talk you hypocrite! So why are you here? Seriously, that Weedle would have been ruling Route 2 and Viridian Forest like it was nobody’s business! I have no idea how one fits a television in a purse and still can walk around in spite of such an item hindering them. But before we continued out revolution, we took time to enjoy cheap and horribly made edutainment on the T.V. for the sake of gawking. It was an analogue T.V. It was destined to screw up! It was even made by Deke Inc, for Arceus' sake! After a short-lived television break, I proceeded to the Viridian Forest in all of its infested glory. A boy and several of his friends split up the gang in the search for venomous insects far away from civilization. There was just no way this could end well. Pikachu has a 5% encounter rate and it was the first little moe girl I encountered! The only way it could have been luckier was if it was in the possession of a Light Ball. It was absolutely criminal to not let a thing so adorable and rare join La Resistance. No, that’s not a good name for us. Team Plasma! That would make a good name! I doubt any group has taken the name anyway so it’s not like there is anything to tarnish. Oh my, this one is going to cause so much trouble. Welcome to Team Plasma, Ikki! Now let’s have and adventure and survey the wildlife! It then dawned on me that I forgot an essential item that would make this forest tolerable. And I was going to pay for it. But one has to admit these little things are just adorable! Seriously, I just want to hug this thing- Oh wait, Karen is still suffering from poison, isn’t she? … At least I was heading to the Center anyways. At least I learned my lesson and stocked up. Yes, the broken analogue television is still there. Before returning to that horrible maze of insects, toxins, and electric rodents, me and Ikki took some time out to bond through combat. This plucky moemon really pulled her weight rather quickly. It was likely no thanks to Pidgey being weak to electricity. It turned out the forest was not only prone to venomous insects but bug-catching thugs as well. Quite the little gangsters we have! Four on two. How cruel of me! *laughs* Our little dominatrix fighter is now ready to dethrone the first Gym Leader and give Team Plasma some momentum! But this game sure can! Now that the fun was over with, it was with the rest of this horrid forest. NEXT TIME: Team Plasma or Team Cherra engage in battle with Brock! Oh, and more moes are met.
