Blizzard have a great recovery system that works amazingly for WoW. Granted it's easier to get hacked on that, but the fact stands. I think Jagex just use this as an excuse for people to play even longer and waste more money on the subscriptions to get their money back.

Nah lol. The OP was just a joke. However I do find it sad that some of the community enjoy killing the righteous defenders of all that is good.

I conclude all the players that kill the players killing the bots are the people who own the bots themselves. Quite sad.

Are you counting in that the rangers lose ranged power from the armor? However yea I seemed to kill them off faster when the RNG was on my side.

You used to see a lot of rangers in it :P

Has anyone other than me actually tried this? I really enjoyed it when I did it. I did it at around 80-85 ranged, and on slayer assignments. I found it to be a nice break from traditional safespot ranging and meleeing. If you have tried it what were your experiences? If you haven't tried it, I strongly urge you to, unless your ranged level is already 99!

Except for on non-slayer tasks of course.

Hm, the only reason I can't be stuffed doing herb runs is because I only remember 2 patches. Can you remind me the running we do? What tele's are needed and where do we go in what order? I guess you're right. I just hate how Australia seems to get ripped off so much by other, larger countries lol. When I tried to buy a Razer mouse from the AU shop it costed 30 dollars more (plus more P&H) than it did in America, even though these were being made in the Asian region. Though I guess that story is just blatant money-grabbing. Anyway, I completely understand you, ll0rt, but however much evidence and reasoning there is, I still don't feel like that 1/3 the price is anything but a tactic to steal money from Australians. (don't ask me why). I'd be fine with 7. I really would. I mean, if I didn't play WoW I would still pay for RuneScape as I would play it primarily but I would like to play both as they both get pretty boring after a while, and you don't want to take a month off of either one because they're both pretty competitive.

Alright, so point one that means that the American exchanging costs is nullified right? Doesn't that mean that the Australian cost should be minimal? Not 1/3 of the Membership costs itself? Let me ask you though. All the reasons you can think of, do you actually think that warrants that $3 more per person?

Hey guys. I haven't played in ages, and I've had a steady amount of coinage for a while. I've been sitting around 32M since I hit 99 ranged and I was wondering the ways to make money. Before I quit (December 09) I usually did random stuff to make money and I had a visage drop which I then used to merchant to gain about 40M. I played again about 3-5 months ago and got 99 ranged via chins (and black dragon farming) and somehow managed to still have 35M at the end of that. I gave 3M to friends when I was done playing. At this time, d-bones were at approx 5k each, now at 2.2k which they were before I quit the first time. Hm, that seems like the only actual reason. I don't get how the American costs are basically a direct conversion of USD -> Pounds (GBP?) if not a minimal bit more, considering that these USD have to be turned to GBP because Jagex is located in the UK (right?) Shouldn't it be roughly the same for Australians?

Fair enough. If we factor that in I still don't think that equates to 1/3 of the cost.

Sorry if this question doesn't belong here. Why does Australian membership cost 9.50 when American is like 6? Exchange rate is ~1 AUD to 0.978 USD which means if the price was 9.50 AUD then it should be like 9 USD, or if it is 6 USD, 6.50 AUD? I know it's like 3 dollars, but that is a bottle of coca-cola lol. Also if it was a tad cheaper I could actually play this and my other MMO (WoW of course) without having to choose one or the other p/month.

I had 3 in 5 kills on a black demon task I think. It may have been hell hounds though. Nevertheless, congratulations :D
