  2. Has there been any updates for this D&D? I haven't been on for awhile
  3. I'm really off to a busy few weeks since I'm trying to do some improvements regarding my clan in RS and at the same time write some paperwork; so i'm gonna put a lot more effort into that which means I can't really have the time to get into some more research about the D&D. Appologies is that's an inconvenience to anyone at the moment. aaron, Absolutely no problem ;) Thankies forcorrecting ahaha PolarBearBlue, I'll totally take those into effect with the Guide thankies for the post and input it help :)
  4. Thankies for that information aaron5140! I'll have it added up there soon! :)
  5. Thankies Angry Aussie :) confirmed information is information that'll answer someone's question sometime heheh so thankies for it. I think I'm almost ready to proof read the guide again and then get rid of the WIP in the title. This took so long because I was busy trainign Slayer. Edit: Just finished a game and got 1,143 points. It could have been better but I kept accidentally clicking on the red/yewllow/orange moths as I rely on their shadows to spot them quicker. Anyways, I think this is my best so far
  6. Thanks Angry Aussie for taking the time to read the guide. And also for the information regarding the Shattered Heart rocks
  7. Thankies Il Ganodermo. I'll try to get more reasearch done with the D&D when I get home today. Edit: Also, I would like to know what people think about the D&D. I'm really curious as to how it is to other people. Thanks in advance.
  8. I haven't really tried dropping Protea flowers on the ground myself, but I do think the Protea only works when wielded. I still have to find out if having Protea flowers in your inventory helps as well. I still have yet to get enough points to find out about the ticket limit, I'm stocking in my points at the moment. I'm also at the point where I should try and find out what are the possible points per game.
  9. Still trying to get the hang of this

  10. My friends have been killing Ganos recently and one of them makes about 1.5m-2m gp/hr. I haven't asked him what gear he uses though.
  11. Yeah I did mean 10m, sorry :9 Hmm can't use a wolper just yet though, so I guess I'll go with the ovls for now. And thanks Quyneax.
  12. I just realised that I'm only 100k XP away from 36M Hunter XP :D I'll try and get that Milestone later today after some Slayer

  13. Table of Contents 1.0 Introduction 2.0 The Plutonial Chinchompa 3.0 "Location Location Location" 4.0 Portals 5.0 Inside the Big Chinchompa D&D 6.0 The Hunter XP and Level 7.0 Rewards and Competence Points Introduction The new Big Chinchompa D&D for the Hunter skill was a recent update made by Jagex in 8/28/12. This Hunter update was anticipated byplayers all over runescape who had at least some interest in the Hunter skill.Players from all over Runescape can help Nyriki make the giant creature go to sleep. This Distraction and Diversion game includes a plush-like Plutonial Chinchompa trapped in a pit-like cage and players collect moths within in the area to feed it to the Chinchompa to make it go to sleep. The point of the D&D is to help Nyriki, a gnome who desires to hunt big game, capture these rare giant beasts. Now, the weakness of a giant fluffy Plutonial Chinchompa is of course the soporith moths. The soporith moths come in different colors and all a player needs to do is to catch these moths and feed them to the Plutonial Chinchompa. Feeding the Plutonial Chinchompa with soporith moths will cause it to take a nap and that's it! You have done your part to help Nyriki and the game ends. The Plutonial Chinchompa The Plutonial Chinchompa is a giant grey chinchompa whose weakness are the different colored moths that can be caught by players. There are REQUIRED Hunter levels ( Ranging from Level 1-91 ) to participate in this event making this a Distractions and Diversion game for Hunters all around Runescape, beginner or professional! Don't get caught up with the cuteness of the Giant Chinchompa though! Remember, your task is to help make the creature fall asleep! "Location Location Location" Nyriki will appear in different Hunter areas all over Runescape. The easiest way to find him would be to use the Orange Portal in Mieliki's shop. Mieliki's shop is located on the South East part of The Gnome Tree Stronghold. The Orange Portal will lead you to where Nyriki is currently Hunting. The Orange portal, however, has a limit use of 3 per day. This limit use resets the same time that the Squeal of Fortune resets at 1 AM GMT- 0. Portals There are a total of 6 Portals: 5 Green Portals and 1 Orange Portal. •The Orange Portal As mentioned awhile ago the Orange portal will lead you to where Nyriki is hunting and that is also where you can start this D&D. • The Green Portals are as follows: - Pawya - Polar Kebbit - Grenwall - Red Chinchompa - Swamp Lizards These portals will lead to a "private" Hunter spot for each specific creature. You can "invite" your friends to these Hunter spots, so basically there could be anyone there. You need "Tickets" in order to be able to catch these Hunter creatures. Please note that the creatures will take some time to respawn the moment you step into that portal. Give it a good 10 seconds and the Hunted will be there to spawn. 1 Ticket = 1 Catch ¤ This is the limit set. You NEED 1 Ticket to be able to do 1 catch. Inside the Big Chinchompa D&D In the game you are required to catch moths and Nyriki will provide you with the jar that you'll use to store the moths in. • Once entered the hole, pick a Protea flower from the South East side of the game. - The Protea flower (when wielded) will help you attract moths better. When standing near another player while wielding this flower you can help them attract the moths a lot more! • The game ends in 20 minutes OR when you put the Plutonial Chinchompa to sleep. And then you will be rewarded with "competence points." ¤ • ¤ There is a 40 MINUTE WAIT after each game ¤ • ¤ • Players can use the NPC Contact spell ( Magic Level 67 ) to contact Meiliki and find out when and where the next game is going to start. • Players can obtain Strange Rocks from this D&D. Credit to: Angry Assuie • Players can obtain Spin Tickets from this D&D • You do not get XP when catching a Moth. Instead the XP is rewarded when you RELEASE the moth(s) into the Cage where the Plutonial Chinchompa is. The XP varies and depends on what moths you have in your jar the moment you release them into the Cage. • There is a meter that will appear on the left side of your screen letting you know how close or how far you are at making the Plutonial Chinchompa sleep. • MOTH JAR: There is also a picture of the Moth Jar on the top left corner of your screen. This lets you know how many moths and which kinds you have stored in your jar. The limit of how many moths you can have in your jar is 15 at a time. After 15 you must release your moths into the cage. • GAME LIMITE PER DAY: The D&D event can be played only TWICE A DAY until the game resets again at 1 AM GMT-0. Simliar reset time as the Squeal of Fortune. The Hunter XP and Level You do not get XP when catching a Moth. Instead the XP is rewarded when you RELEASE the moth(s) into the Cage where the Plutonial Chinchompas. The XP varies and depends on what moths you have in your jar the moment you release them into the Cage. Players can also trade their "competence points" for Hunter XP, but be aware the trade is 1:1 ratio. Here are the Required Hunter Level for each Moth: • Black Soporith Moth: Level 91 Hunter • Grey Soporith Moth: Level 78 Hunter • Purple Soporith Moth: Level 65 Hunter • Blue Soporith Moth: Level 52 Hunter • Green Soporith Moth: Level 39 Hunter • Yellow Soporith Moth: Level 26 Hunter • Orange Moth: Level 13 Hunter • Red Moth: Level 1 Hunter Here is the information regarding how much XP and Points you get per Moth when you RELEASE them into the cage for the Plutonial Chinchompa to eat!• • Black Soporith Moth: 450 XP [ 21 Points ] • Grey Soporith Moth: 400 XP [ 18 Points ] • Purple Soporith Moth: 320 XP [ 15 Points ] • Blue Soporith Moth: 300 XP [12 Points ] • Green Soporith Moth: 250 XP [ 8 Points ] • Yellow Soporith Moth: 150 XP [ 5 Points ] • Orange Moth: 50 XP [ 2 Points ] • Red Moth: 15 XP [1 Point ] Rewards and Competence Points Competence Points are awarded after each game. You can exchhange your competence points for Rewards by talking to Nyriki or by going to Mieliki's shop. Here is a list of the featured rewards: • Protea Flower - 1 Point • Swamp Toad - 24 Points • Flax - 2 points • Swamp Tar - 8 Points • 5 Hunter XP - 1 Point • Changes has been made, it used to be 1 XP per 1 Point. ¤ Swamp Lizard Quota Ticket (Lvl 29) - 4 Points each ¤ Red Chinchompa Quota Ticket (Lvl 63) - 6 Points each ¤ Pawya Quota Ticket (Lvl 66) - 8 Points each ¤ Polar Kebbit Quota Ticket (Lvl 70) - 15 Points each ¤ Grenwall Quota Ticket (Lvl 77) - 10 Points each Remember that you need 1 Ticket to catch 1 creature in any of the "private" Hunter spots. Also keep in mind that these spots are not very "private," other players may enter if they wish to and can share that spot with you.
  14. hmmmmm :9 Lol sorry if this gets annoying ahahha Edit: AHHH! I got it! Thankies :)
  15. Heya, I'm sort of closing in on the Slayer level for Ganos. I was just wondering what a decent-ish gear should look like and how the inventory is set up. I do have a budget though, I'd liek to keep it under 10 if thats possible. I do already have fury, and full ganos as well as the polypore staff if this is included in the actual gear at all.
  16. B;ah blah blah4 hrs of sleep mehhhh

  18. I'm not really sure which url to copy and paste :I
  19. This is information I have tested myself and noted it and is now posted on my Hunter Guide in RS forums [qfc]98-99-123-63472613[/qfc] I haven't quite tested the others as my Agility level is a bit on the low side (80). But comparing it to Draconic Jadinkos xp/hr, it just doesn't step up any closer to be at the same level as it is. This could help you a bit with the decision making as you can use it as a guideline. Draconic Jadinkos have xp/hr rates that are at 120k xp/hr at 80 (depending on method used) up to 300k xp/hr at 99 Hunter. Sapphire Glacialis Log ¤ 99 Hunter/80 Agility In 20 Minutes • 35,600 Hunter XP • 6,230 Agility XP In 30 Minutes • 51,600 Hunter XP • 9,030 Agility XP In 1 hr • 103,200 Hunter XP • 18,060 Agility XP ¤ Total XP/hr = 121,260 XP/hr - 85% Hunter XP - ~15% Agility XP COMPARED TO: ¨ˆ°*•›¸Ruby Harvest¸›•*°ˆ¨ ¤ 99 Hunter/75 Agility • ~82,250 XP/HR • --> ~86% Hunter XP --> ~14% Agility XP ›•*°ˆNOTESˆ°*•› Use the Sapphire Glacialis respawn spot NORTH of the Kyatts where you can hunt Polar Kebbits. Right when you have ascended the steps, there are 2 Sapphire glacialis almost beside each other. This is the spot I preferred to use because on the first respawn spot there are too many sknowy knights and sapphire glacialis clumped up together, it made it more confusing and so slowing me down. The Sapphire Glacialis take less than 1 second to respawn so NORTHERN spot isn't too bad of an option. Only use the main respawn spot by the Kyatts if you have the 85 Agility level in order to catch the Snow Knights. Here's some info I have gathered up myself when I tried some of them
  20. Trying to get the hang of this :9
