  1. It worked fine. Only on my 2nd run Dharok wouldn't appear when I opened the chest. Ended up opening the chest without killing him, because I was down to 1 prayer pot and 1 shark.
  2. Wow. Easy. 10-15 waves per brother, and about 10 doses of prayer pots in my first trip. 10 or so sharks. Nice. =p
  3. Yeah, I don't care about it being worth it really. Lol yeah my range is abysmal; how many arrows should I bring for Ahrim? Yeah, I need to get it up... It's my lowest skill! Even lower than farming! And prayer! And runecrafting!!
  4. Attack 68 Strength 63 Defense 51 Range... 44. :wall: :wall: :wall: Prayer 48 Magic 66 Any chance at all? I don't care if it isn't efficient. I know I'm too low-level to actually do Barrows well. I mean, if I wanted to and took like a bunch of ppots and food and basically wasted my money, could I do it? Because I'm bored and I want to try. #-o #-o And if so, how many runes should I bring? I'm planning on Wind Waves. And what inventory, etc. Thanks. EDIT: I'm barrowing on a budget lol! Would it be exceedingly stupid (a.k.a. make it really hard to win) if I wore no hat and monk robes instead of a farseer helm and mystic robes? I don't really want to dish out 300K for the latter, so... yeah. #-o #-o
  5. Splatter bombing... See my sig. See my tip.it post.
  6. Basically. No, I do try and get to spinners when I see they're there. Since now I'm actually bringing splatters to portals and blowing them up around... well, everything. :P
  7. There's a new, safer way to use the Abyss with level 40 Magic and level 47 (45 with tea) Construction. Just bring a house teleport (1 Law, 1 Earth, 1 Air OR 1 Law, 1 Dust OR use a staff + Law) and teleport to your house after crafting, then use your mounted glory amulet to go back to Edgeville. Pros: 1. No more worrying about PKers. They kill you? All you lose is your pure essence and laws. This means no more Ectophial needed. 2. You never have to recharge amulets at the Heroes' Guild - and you don't even need 25, just 1! Cons: 1. House teleport takes up 3 spaces with earth and air. However, with a dust rune or a staff the number of spaces goes down to 2 (remember no staffs at Law altar). IF you can find some House teleport tablets, then it only takes up 1 space!
  8. Of course he would get hurt, but I'm trying to help the team after all. 8-) 8-) Finally! 100 points! Now I can go up from 66 Attack to 68 attack and go try out Warrior's Guild.
  9. Woot! New step in bombing research: PORTAL DEMOLITION. I'm now giving those portals a taste of their own medicine by bombing them with Splatters! So far I think I've dealt the finishing blow to the last portal TWICE. Soo awesome. I don't have a great screenshot of either unfortunately. In one the portal's not quite dead (there was a better one but I missed it :wall: ) and in the other I'm dead, but the portal is at that point where it flashes before it dies, so all you see is me about to fall. I'll post the one where the portal's about to take its last hit, because that one's not bad. Actually, I'll put it in my sig as a new rank! =p
  10. It... didn't work. :( :( Rune throwing axes was the idea. Specifically, to hit a bunch of monsters in line in a row. However, it didn't really look all the flashy since you couldn't really see the spec. And it only hit around 3 monsters anyways. For 0. (My range is abysmal.) To make matters worst, I couldn't pick up my axes afterwards because of the monster problem. So, in short, not a great idea. Splatter bombing, however, is still awesome. By the way, have you noticed... that splatters are one of the only monsters that stack up in Pest Control?   (Did Jagex anticipate splatter bombing!?)
  11. The music outside of the Rimmington house portal is "Long Way Home". :?
  12. I've tried to do it again today, but I have never managed to get better results (screenshots) than my sig. Oh well, that just means I have a great sig. :P Working on a new idea now... I'll tell u if it works \
  13. Yeah I can't use Dragon Hally yet... I really should do Regicide. (Level 76 with 168 QP! Wheee!)
  14. Hear hear. I've been playing for 5 years, have a decent overall level but totally nooby for someone playing this long. Never had a phat, never had more than 1 mil, wasted all my time doing random things I like. And yet I never will quit because of scamming or losing stuff, because the game is just for fun, and I play not because I try to make a bunch of money but because I love playing it and doing things my own way. \ \ \
  15. You people are getting offtopic now... [-X [-X I'd like to see if anyone else has great screenshots of splatter bombings, so if you have any please share them! =P~ =P~
  16. Lol, I see other people indeed did already know about splatter bombing... well, it is awesome. Weasel, I mentioned that I can't really help out with portals anyways. As I've said, on World 78 the lower level noobs don't have to (and can't) do much to help win. So basically, I do whatever I like. It does seem a bit selfish to mess around instead of helping but it's so fun, and noone seems to mind. :-k
  17. Yesssssss. You must.   Wow, my idea seems rather popular! Am I the first person to think of it??  Woot I'm an inventor!! =P~ :^o =P~
  18. Well, I'll assume you know how to play Pest Control. Basically since you still want to get points during the game, go kill something until you have 50 points of damage. Now run around trying to find Splatters. Attack as many as you can and try to get them to decently low health, but don't kill them. Try to get around 3 or 4 following you. Now try to walk around until all the Splatters are attacking you from the same square. If you get good at it you can even move the Splatters next to a portal, monsters, or other players (on my sig I know I took at least one person with me - I'm on the right). Now just kill one Splatter. It explodes, the others take damage and explode, etc. etc. and things around the square (like you) take a LOT of damage. And die. Sooo very fun O:) O:) O:) Yep, that's P Mega's basic guide to Splatter Bombing!
  19. Well, see, this is how I think about it. People hit 20s to 30s on portals. Usually I hit around 7. So, I figure I might as well just get my 50 points of damage in, then run around doing whatever I want - in this case, blowing up Splatters in extremely deadly chain reactions. It's a really funny way to pass the time - doing this, I won about 15 games without even noticing and never got bored like I used to (y'know, because I was tired of just defending, or just trying fruitlessly to destroy portals). And I usually racked up 150+ damage over the course of a game - just by messing around with splatters. 8-[ 8-[ Lol, just now I almost had 6 ready to blow up... but then the game ended. And I was so focused on the sport (Splatter Bombing) that I didn't even get my 50 damage in. #-o Anyways, for those of you who think it looks kinda funny, go on world 78, let the others do the work, and focus on blowing things up, preferably with other people or things nearby rofl. \ Seriously, once I blew up the last remaining portal with 2 Splatters. And it really is great, great fun.
  20. Look at my sig. It explains a lot. Splatter bombing is THE best sport in RuneScape. It's hilarious, it's fun, and it's a great way for me to pass the time in Pest Control since I can't really help out with portals anyways. Of course I play on World 78 so the real challenge in Pest Control is not to destroy the portals before the Void Knight dies, but to attack 4 Splatters, get them on the same square and then blow them all up... before the game ends. If anyone else thinks this is funny, or likes to do this too, tell me; I want to make sure I'm not a loser n00b. :wall: Of course, if it turns out I AM a loser n00b and this post is near spam, just tell me too and I apologize for causing any bother. :-w
  21. Ok but what do you mean by an item?? Casket??
  22. What about seeds? And is there a difference between raw/cooked fish? EDIT: What do you mean by an item per 100 fish? And do you have to collect 100 fish/ # items at a time to get bonuses? Say, if you collected 40 fish one day, 40 fish the next, 40 fish the next, you wouldn't get a bonus?
  23. Oh wow you're right. I didn't see that. Sorry everyone
