  1. Now I always use them on Slayer. The rationale for this is that with anything else, the small amount of xp can easily be made with a few materials. But because of the varying nature of Slayer assignments, 570 xp (or whatever) for me could very easily be anything from killing 5 lvl-90s, to half a slayer assignment. And I'd have to keep running around places. The point is that small amounts of xp in Slayer are harder to get than small amounts in other skills, and I'll take whatever I can get.
  2. These should be "No-skill Capes", and you have to have level 1 in the skill to wear them. No higher. :XD: EDIT: Ah, see this has already been suggested. Well, I think they'd be funny.
  3. :ohnoes: :uhh: I only have a steel, because I have never regularly spent time there.
  4. What are these monkeys everyone keeps talking about? I MUST find some. The exact name would be greatly appreciated, as I can't find what you are talking about in the items database. Great ideas lol, I'm going to go see if the nitroglycerin one works. I doubt it does, but if it DOES... HYPER-RETRIBUTION FTW! \
  5. I think the Stronghold of Security book is best, really. :XD:
  6. DISCLAIMER: Excuse me if this is spam; it does not seem like it to me, but if it is I apologize. I've been hearing all these stories about how people try to lure you into the wildy to pk you, and how people (obviously) can watch out for them. Well, I was thinking... if you knew someone was trying to lure you, obviously you would bring something other than the money that they WANT you to bring. Like, I heard one person brought just some maple logs with her. So, what would be the funniest item to bring, and to leave to the lurers when they finally manage to kill you? Post your ideas here - just think about how much fun you could have torturing those lurers (they deserve it anyways  )? My vote so far is on rotten food. You killed me? Great! Have some Ghast excrement!
  7. Also Choc-ices right? You can buy those from Nardah.
  8. What he said. I don't know, however, if that is F2P. In fact, I don't even know if YOU are F2P. :? If you are P2P, you can also buy pie dishes from the Culinaromancer's Chest in the Lumbridge cellar (assuming you've started Recipe for Disaster).
  9. You probably somehow attacked him first, getting yourself skulled. Tough luck... be more careful next time. :?
  10. You might need some of the scrolls that you got during the previous parts of the quest... did you drop those? If so, go back and look for 'em again.
  11. If you didn't actually go treasure hunting, then you should be able to get it back from Jorral. If you have already found everything from treasure hunting, then yes it is gone forever.
  12. I don't really like this rule either, but that's about what I thought. Thanks for the clarification, it confirmed my hunch. Guess I'm not going for that lvl-65 quester then.. #-o
  13. I know this probably a very dumb question, but I can't seem to find a straight answer to it so here goes: I see a lot of people making pure accounts; in these accounts, do people generally transfer items from their main, or do they get a skill up and make money to pay for stats without any account interaction with the main? I only ask because my real-life friend is always making pures, and continuously supplies them with millions of GP from his main. I'm always dubious of his behavior. In addition, I myself am toying with the idea of making an account that will get the quest point cape at around level 65. :o Although this would take so much work and time that I probably wouldn't - I'd much rather just keep working on my main - it would DEFINITELY be made a lot less tempting for me to do it if I had to make money completely from scratch. Anyways, help with this question would be greatly appreciated, and when the thread's done it can be discarded. Thanks! :D :D
  14. If we actually tried to point out all the strange things about Runescape the bandwidth of the forums would overload and implode. :?
  15. GAH, wish I'd learned about this sooner. I spent 3 hours yesterday plinking at ogres, to get 58-60 ranged for Mourning's Ends. Blaaargh. :boohoo:
  16. Just one, and it hangs in my quest hall. House teleport ftw -_-
  17. In the Pits, HANDS DOWN. EDIT: I was around for RSC, and I was around for Scape Original, which played for so long that it's gotten kind of boring for me. Does bring back the nostalgia, though (making the leap from RSC to RS is amazing ).
  18. Reasonably speaking (no idiot's going to remove all servers  ), I'd have to agree that taking out discontinued items would make a lot of people very, very angry. Thus, why Jagex has promised it will never do that. :P By the way, a question about Druidic Ritual: Is it really necessary to do that quest for herblore still? I mean, what with Tomes of Experience, Antique Lamps, and all that... Or does it not let you put XP into Herblore if you haven't finished the quest?
  19. Yea, so you can steal my wallet in real life also  I'd probably go with Firemaking : Arsonist.
  20. Scarab Beetles from Pyramid Plunder - Bones? Also, how do Harpie Bugs drop coins?? Or fire runes? Or mithril chains!?
  21. FNORD I don't have one, because I've only been twice. I'll start going again as soon as I hit 55 Slayer, I think.
  22. I'd have to go with Attack, Magic, and Agility. But that's because I'm a DBZ/Kenshin fan.
  23. Hmm, I don't think I've ever lost anything huge... I'm a very, very cautious person. 8-) Come to think of it, I've very rarely died at all when I wasn't intending to. I think the last time I lost anything of great value was back in RSC (and I can't even remember what it is I lost). EDIT: Right after posting, I remembered... The most I've ever lost is 2 or 3 glories while Abyss runecrafting. After construction came out, I stuck a glory in my Quest hall and took house teleports with me instead. So, no more lost glories. :P
