I'd have to say the absolute worst update was pure essence. It did nothing to normal essence prices, while jacking up the pure ess prices to ridiculous amounts. I also did not like the new player interfaces. It took about two weeks to get used to it, and I still don't like going to the equipment interface to check my carried weight. Gah. Finally, I'd have to say the Stronghold of Security was dumb. Sure, it may have helped a FEW people, but most people could just skip everything and get the rewards. I myself only answered one security question. And why implement something - and advertise it using random events - that can only be done once??

You're reading Tip.It wrong, I think. You're actually supposed to kill a monk in the monastery southeast of the CLOCK TOWER. That's south of Ardougne... yes, it's either a couple of teleports, or a loooong walk. :wink:

Does anyone know if the 60 Ranged requirement can be bypassed with a ranging potion, or do you really need the level? I really hope it's the former... I hate ranged :P

I remember a couple of months back there was definitely a world where most everyone went to do Pest Control... Games lasted about a minute, and there were always about a hundred people there. Does this world still exist? And if so, which is it? I've completely forgotten (though it might be something like 66, or 42, or something)

PMega's Album of Strange Occurrences Quest for the Rare Butterfly

So. I'm going to occasionally update this when I get bored, and/or think of something outlandish to do. It's basically going to grow into a collection of very, very random and (hopefully) decently amusing screenshots of - as my title promises - strange occurrences in Runescape. With any luck, these will be things you do not see every day in the game, but instead are photos that I have to go to strange lengths to get. ALL THE PHOTOS HERE ARE REAL. I did not photoshop anything; I had to go get these for real, in the game. Anyways, enjoy! EDIT: If this does not qualify as a blog, mods, feel free to remove it.

I'm definitely going to go check out the Abyss. Btw, did you read the topic about how Ice Barrage at tree spirits doesn't give you xp for doing damage? I'm not exactly sure what it's about, but if that's what you're doing there you might want to take a look at it.

I want to go just because I'm sick of getting skulled and my prayer drained every time I have to get another pouch because I got pked. That's the only reason I want to go. Every time into the abyss, you lose all your prayer and you run the risk of losing your stuff. And it's multicombat. I've spent many, many prayer pots there for protect-melee (yes I'm a combat noob :? ) and often I run through three or four without a single pouch. It's infuriating. Nice to know there's a new, safer place to train. =D> :pray:

Meh, I might try it a bit. I'm level 77 and with rune armor on the Goraks hit 13s on me kinda often. :-# But on the second Gorak I killed after the quest, I got a half key =D> On about 20(?) monkfish, I managed to kill 5. #-o Oh well... my combat's just not high enough... =/

I'm getting really ticked off by all the people who just keep getting buckets of water... (as I play right now there are 974 buckets of water, and it's 6-14 our loss... :evil: )

knight6, just so you know you only need 66 Magic to get into the Magic Guild. So you can use Magic Potion, Mind Bomb, etc. because all you need is to get in.

I've tried monkfish. It's ridiculously good experience. Full load in 5-7 minutes, and you get more XP than fishing sharks. :shock: :shock: :shock:

Don't worry about it. I'm the king of ditching Runescape for a while. :P I started 5 years ago, played for about a year on Classic, then "quit" for about a year. Came back roughly when RS2 came out, then got members soon after that. After members, I quit for another 3 months, then started playing for another 6 months. Got really bored of all the updates after Farming so I quit *yet* again. Finally, after about another half a year of playing other MMO's, got interested in RS again for some strange reason, and have been playing again for about that last 3 months. Good times. So really although I've been a user for 5 years, I've really only played for 3. But yeah, I'm a good example of a fluctuating player. Never gave away stuff though, just kept it there.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I finished DTTD. :cry: :cry: :cry: It would have been very funny, but... Oh well.

...that when you examine something on the map the red action X appears? And that when you examine an item it clicks? It didn't use to do that. I don't know if it's been around for a long time, and I'm just unobservant :wall: , but I only noticed it today and I think I would've before since I examine almost every thing imagniable. :P So is this already common knowledge, or did I find the tiniest hidden update? :mrgreen:
