Well, they do give pretty good herby exp, and the ingredients are easy to get, so I see this as being a great way to get quick herby exp (especially for throwaway pots).

I only play to have fun these days (castle wars mainly) and don't train to speak of.

I'll certainly try to go. The Old Nite was a great player and an extremely nice and helpful person at all times. (RS name:Lambspeak) We did already have two marches on Friday, though (There were 2 because the time got mixed up). The details need to be worked out as soon as possible, and I recommend you post an equivalent in Eastern Daylight Time (New York and Washington time), since American Daylight Savings Time helped to mess up the last event like this. Now I wish I had kept that set of full black I had bought for the last one. :(

Tehre was also a second service an hour after the scheduled on since the time zone difference was mixed up by some people. The second service was equal in number to teh first, and I'm happy to report that there were no rude people at it. We observed a couple minutes of silence, and it was very nice. Rest in peace, The Old Nite. :cry:

I'm going to wear full black in his honor and have a candle like was suggested earlier. Full black is also appropriate to show respect because no matter how good you think you are, we were all noobs compared to The Old Nite.

I hadn't heard anything about this massacre incident before checking out Tip.it today. After reading the interview, the Jagex response and the various postings about it, I think the whole thing is despicable. Also, while TheRat professes dismay as to why people are criticizing him for the interview, he clearly glorified the incident, and he deserves criticism for doing so. This incident does not compare to the Party Hat incident since it was not instigated maliciously by trying to break into the RS interface to cheat at the game. Nevertheless it is an example of exploiting a bug, and doing so in the most despicable way by preying on hapless players who could do little to defend themselves and avoid losing the fruits of their labors. The video of the incident was particularly disgusting, with its chaos music and the air of panic that was palpable in the crowd. I hope everyone involved is banned, and I think TheRat should be vilified for glorifying a cheat and a thief. Disgusting! :evil:

When I saw that Jagex had intervened in this matter, I was appalled. It sets a dangerous precedent. Hopefully Tip.It has learned its lesson: Jagex cannot censor you (because that is exactly where such actions lead to: Censorship). Hopefully this will never come up again, but if it does, don't give in!!
