Nice rant Centuramage. I was surprised that I had to go all the way to the third page of the post to find someone actually DEFENDING the IRS. First, I AGREE with the statement that the editor made. It is ALWAYS a bad sign when the IRS becomes interested in someone or something. As to your assertion that the IRS the major source of revenue for the U.S. Well, I will only point out that it is the American PEOPLE and BUSINESSES that the revenue is taken from. The IRS performs the same function that the collection muscle that CRIMINALS use on their "protected" clients. Yes, the U.S. spends GOBS of TAXPAYER money on all kinds of worthless projects. National Defense and Infrastructure are the only things they should be spending that money on. But the wonderful liberals keep thinking that it is unair that I have a good job, that I break my back doing, that pays me good money. So the "wonderful liberals" tm. have decided to take 33% of my earnings and spread it around to people who don't work. Yelling at the representatives and senators about it does no good, because the actual earners are outnumbered by the poor that are going to vote for free stuff and the bleeding heart liberals who never seem to want to put THEIR OWN MONEY where their mouths are. They ALWAYS want to put everyone elses money where the bleeding heart liberals mouths are though. MERRY CHRISTMASS!!!

I think that a wonderful solution to this problem woul be for jagex to create a minigame that allowed a player to obtain a "nuke". You carry the item with you into the wilderness and so long as you are not skulled if you get killed by another player BAM!!! 500 health in a 15 space radius to anyone with a skull. That would solve the problem of the complete lack of honor, morals and values in the wild by replacing those high minded and philosophical, but nonexistant, traits with the only thing that actually works, FEAR. Remember, and armed society is a polite society.

Well, it looks like I will eventually be banned too, by Jagex logic. Me, my fiancee', my two kids (Son and Daughter) and her two kids (also Son and Daughter) all have rs accounts and all play from my house. We all trade with each other all the time and I am not going to stop trading with my loved ones because of this "risk". After all, Jagex claims on their site to be a family oriented game. And we all know that Jagex has a huge revenue stream. So, family gets banned, Jagex fails to appropriately investigate after 3 appeals, GET LAWYER (a nice shark type that will go for all the blood that can be sucked from Jagex because he only gets paid if he wins) SUE Jagex for false advertising, family discord and whatever other creative things a decent shark can come up with. And make the lawsuit as PUBLIC as possible! Once you hit a company in the pocket book for their lack of customer support they usually improve their customer support. Just my personal thoughts. :twisted:

I loved the article. It was well thought out and concisely written. I have always felt that if someone does not have enough respect for me to use proper writing skills when they address me then they do not deserve my time. Much less whatever it is of mine that they wish to purchase or scam from me. In fact that is quite possibly why I have never been scammed. All of the scammers I have ever seen in my two years on RuneScape use the internet shorthand. Since I am not going to take the time to bother deciphering the gibberish it has probably saved me from the annoyance of being scammed. It has probably saved me from many other pitfalls as well.
