  1. @Revenga: IE7 ftw! On topic: woot @ the new fire giants!
  2. one day, one day, i'll get mine.... I've gotten jad way past healers mannny times.... 5 times actually, 11 tries total.... BTW in my last try jad ranged a 90 on me (one-hitted me) on his first hit! Well add my name to the list as soon as i manage to beat it - i'll post here again when i do!
  3. OK, I haven't played RS in months.... I tried to get the firecape once.... Borrowed Guthans (gave a friend 15m, the price back then, as a collateral) and.... forgot to put on mage prayer on the second lvl 360.... I used Impaler's Guide..... I was wondering: Does the safe spot that impaler99 mentions in his guide still work on Jad? cauz in all recent guides, and this thread, i never hear anyone talk about it..... Is the safe spot just deemed in-honorable  ? or did jagex fix it?
  4. Comment on Turoths... There's a very reliable safe spot on the south end of the cave that works only on lvl 87s and 89s...the large ones basically... Why do you despise them so? I prefer Turoths over maaaaany other slayer monsters... :-D
  5. Yay, RuneScape auf Deutsch! Ich wohne zwar in den USA, aber ich spreche immer noch Deutsch ;-) Es wird ne schwere wahl zu sein auf Deutsch oder auf Englisch zu spielen. :-D For all you guys who don't speak german (and didn't realise that was in german :-P ): Yay, Runescapae in German! I live in the US, but I still speak German ;-) It's gonna be hard to choose to play in Geman or in English :-D For most stuff that's in german and english i prefer english, but whatever....
  6. Near the end of last year, I quit RS. I started playign again at the beginning of last week. While I was doing Rag and Bone man earlier on today, I had to get a zogre bone. More than 7 months ago, I did the Zogre quest and got an ogre composite bow. I used it a couple of times to kill zogres and chompies alike. However today, when I attempted to equip my ogre composite bow, i got an error message: "This bow looks quite powerful, you're not sure if you should use it yet". Eventually I made another regular ogre bow, which i was able to use. So I was wondering: Are there any new requirements to wield an Ogre Composite Bow BTW: *My bow worked just fine the last time I used it at the end of last year. *I was using steel brutal arrows. *I am lvl 70 range. *I have 3 chompy kills. *I have done Big Chompy Bird Hunting and Zogre Flesh Eaters. *I have already searched tip.it, the tip.it forums, the official knowledge base, and the web, to no avail. *This might be a bug THANKS in advance! :-) [/b]
  7. sounds like it'll be a lot of fun! RS Name: Conquerist Combat lvl: 91 (may be 92 or 93 when the tournament begins) Tournament Bracket: 90-100
  8. The tip it max hit calc says otherwise: 47 max hit with whip (on undeads), but that is with a fire cape
  9. Attack and Defence: Slash/Stab/Crush/Range: +12 Magic: +6 Strength: +12
  10. clearing up some confusion 1. As far as i have noticed so far, "barrows gloves" = "dark gloves" = "masters gloves". There is no official name because jagex simply calls them "gloves". (Correct me if i'm wrong) 2. Max hits. according to tip.it's max hit calculator, the max hit possible (without the new gloves that are a tad better than dragon gloves) with an abyssal whip, berserker helm + ring, gauntlets, climbing boots, a fire cape and an obsidian shield (super potted with ultimate prayer + controlled attack) was 41. please note that that was with a strength ammy, the amulet with the greatest strength bonus that has an universal effect. With a salve amulet it was already possible to hit 44 with a whip, but only on undeads. Now with the new gloves (whatever you want to call them), it is possible to whip 44's on other players and even 47's on undeads. side note: it is now possible to hit a stunning 101 ( yea you read that right) damage. That is with the above, only with full dharoks and below 10% hp. @ lime mercury what other dark equipment is there that requires 80 in a skill??
  11. 1. I don't know - mine cost me quite a lot - 4 million-ish 2. Atk Bonus: Def Bonus: Other Bonuses: Stab: 10 Stab: 15 Strength: 8 Slash: 10 Slash: 15 Prayer: 5 Crush: 10 Crush: 15 Magic: 10 Magic: 15 Range: 10 Range: 15 3. I bought it on the forums, but that was a long time ago fyi, this should be in help & advice EDIT -- lol they're still 5m+ ?! i've stopped playing 4 months ago and they were 5.3m on the street.... i paid 4 mil by buying tons of chaos runes from magic stores, selling those at the tzhaar store (an autoclicker would probably have helped :? )
  12. Nope the stats aren't like Rune Boots, and they aren't like Mith Boots either. The white equipment is identical to black equipment, only that they differ in the look; white stuff is white and black stuff is black :D The main difference however is that white items all give a +1 prayer bonus - except the mace. Since a black mace already gives a prayer bonus of +2, the white mace gives a prayer bonus of +3. The only exceptions are the staff and the gloves. The gloves are regular gloves +1 prayer, and the staff is a magical staff (the one with a grey orb) +1 prayer. The only items i'll get would be the gloves and the boots (like gaining 2 prayer lvls for around 582 gp) So now here's the new perfect prayer bonus equipment: Helm: Verac's Helm or Initiate Helm Chest: Monk Robes Top or Initiate Platebody Legs: Monk Robes Bottom or Initiate Platelegs Ammy: Holy or Unholy symbol Cape: Fire cape (or lava cape as some ppl call it) Weapon: Dragon Mace Shield: Any prayer book - finished or not, or a Broodoo Shield Gloves: White Gloves (new) Boots: White Boots (new) That adds up to a nice (the best in the game) prayer bonus of 36! that's 4 more than previously possible! Question: What rank do you need for the Boots and Gloves?
  13. I don't know the stats of the mace.... If you know them, plz post here :)
  14. Thanks for all the positive feedback. I updated the guide quite a few times with new info (some from this thread) and pics. It is now nearly finished except for the info for the mace.
  15. A big thanks to tjl1991! this wouldn't have been possible without his money and effort put into getting the item's stats. The pictures of the monsters are taken from spooferfish's Drop Lists. The equipment images are taken from Tip.It forums posts; credit is given. On Monday, Jagex introduced the volcano dwellers of TzHaar. With it, Jagex also introduced 4 new monsters to kill in the city, 7 new equipment items, the TzHaar fightpit minigame, and a new currency, Tokkuls. The city of TzHaar has a gem store that buys and sells ores from copper to rune and uncut gems for Tokkuls, a rune store that buys and sells runes for Tokkuls, a bank, a furnace, many ranges (sulphur vents), and the TzHaar fightpit minigame. The Monsters For Drop lists, click here. Just on a small note, all inhabitants of TzHaar have 4 arms Image by Me TzHaar-Hur (lvl 74) Image by Me TzHaar-Mej (lvl 103) Note:Wields a Toktz-mej-tal (Staff) Image by spooferfish TzHaar-Xil (lvl 133) There are three versions of TzHaar-Xil: One wields a knife, the second one chakrams, and the last one wields 3 short swords. Image by spooferfish Tzhaar-Ket (lvl 149) Note: There are 3 versions of Tzhaar-Ket One which wields (what i think are) 2 Toktz-ket-em (Maces) and 1 Toktz-ket-om (Maul). That is the one in the picture. Another version (also lvl 149) wield (what i think is) one Toktz-ket-om (Maul). The third version is unattackable and wields one Toktz-ket-om (Maul) and one Toktz-ket-xil (Shield). That Tzhaar-ket always tells you that you're not allowed to access a particular area. The Weapons All Weapons (unless otherwise noted) are one-handed. All weapons are tradable. Since the stats are between rune and dragon (and even better than both in the case of the knife), the wielding requirements are probably between 40 and 60 Attack for the weapons and 40 and 60 Defence for the shield. There might be a Strength wield requirement for the Maul (Toktz-ket-om). Image by xXru1n3dXx Image by Me Toktz-xil-ul What they are: Chakrams (throwing rings) (Thanks to Barihawk for the term "Chakrams") Price at store: 375 Tokkuls each Stats: +69 Range Attack Speed: Fast Image by Zakors Toktz-xil-ak What this is: Short Sword Price at store: 60,000 Tokkuls Stats: +47 Stab Attack +38 Slash Attack -2 Crush Attack +2 Stab Defence +3 Slash Defence +49 Strength Speed: Fast (like other short swords) Note: Dropped by the TzHaar-Xils (lvl 133) Image by Zakors Image by blkpure4eva Toktz-ket-xil What this is: Shield Price at store: 67,500 Tokkuls Stats: -12 Magic Attack -8 Range Attack +40 Stab Defence +42 Slash Defence +38 Crush Defence +65 Range Defence +5 Strength Notes: Identical to a Granite shield, but gives a Strength bonus Dropped by the Tzhaar-Kets (lvl 149) Both Images by Lime_Mercury Toktz-xil-ek What this is: Knife Price at store: 37,500 Tokkuls Stats: +16 Stab Attack +48 Slash Attack +39 Strengh Note: Can NOT be poisoned Probably dropped by the Tzhaar-Xils (lvl 133) Speed: Fast (Like Dagger) Image by Senor Tamale Toktz-mej-tal What this is: Staff Price at store: 52,500 Tokkuls Stats: +15 Stab Attack -1 Slash Attack +55 Crush Attack +15 Magic Attack +55 Strength +10 Stab Defence +15 Slash Defence +5 Crush Defence +15 Magic Defence +5 Prayer Speed: Normal Notes: 2-Handed Probably dropped by the TzHaar-Mejs (lvl 103) Toktz-ket-em Image by Me What this is: Mace Price at store: 45,000 Tokkuls Stats: Not available Speed: Not available Notes: Probably dropped by Tzhaar-Kets (lvl 149). Image by dP_Crazy Image by Frogmite Image by Kissa-ajuri Toktz-ket-om What this is: Maul Price at store: 75,000 Tokkuls Stats: +80 Crush Attack +85 Strengh Speed: Slow Notes: 2-Handed Dropped by Tzhaar-Kets (lvl 149) MiniGame The TzHaar fightpit is the new minigame introduced with all this. It is a player vs. player arena where the last (wo)man standing wins. The winner (first place) wins a differing amount of Tokkuls. After a few minutes, monsters start spawning in the arena to quicken the battle. The winnings vary between 8,00 to 6,600 Tokkuls (thanks to apinagez and spooferfish) , and (this is not confirmed) are the sum of the combat levels of everybody in the battle (thanks to barihawk). Thanks to: tjl1991, spooferfish, Zakors, xXru1n3dXx, Lime_Mercury, Senor Tamale, dP_Crazy, blkpure4eva, Frogmite, Barihawk, apinagez, and ImageShack.US for their free image hosting Information on the Mace will soon be added.
