  2. Not sure if this is worth it... I'll continue to collect today. I'll have a problem with hunter ones though, considering I'm 1 hunter... lol.
  3. Got mine pickpocketing guards.First one took 6k exp and the second 4k. Dunno if it matters but I got the one in Ardy and the other in Varrock. Got first after 4 pickpockets. Then done 13k exp on guards and nothing. Done 3k exp on normal men and got it :D
  4. How'd people get the theiving one? Pick pocketing men? I've been doing guards, had my first over an hour ago... can't get my 2nd rock ;/;/

  10. As this is basically a seperate 'minigame,' to the update, I think it deserves its own thread. Basically, first person to find out what you get for getting these rocks will be loved. So far I've got one from thieving. Discuss tips, techniques and guess the overall reward.
  11. Well I totally disagree with your explanation. Either way you can't prove your 'theory,' because afterall it is a theory as you do not work for Jagex. Therefore you do not know EXACTLY how it works.

And when theres 499 other numbers to hit instead of you max (normally there would be 49). This is simple logic. This update doesn't affect attack at all. I don't think you read it properly. Attack doesn't decide the number you hit. it just decides whether you hit or not. Strength decides what number you hit, thus strength now has more numbers to hit. It does improve accuracy, but only because it improves strengths chance of hitting. HOWS DO ATTACK JUST DECIDE IF YOU HIT OR NOT? If attack only decides if you hit or not, there would be little people trainning it. I think your find strength decides the maximum you can hit, attack decides how often you hit EACH number, as its considered ACCURACY. So attack will play an important role.

  14. I get a feeling pures may suffer. Lets say you max is normally 50. This is now 500. So instead of 49 other numbers you can hit, there is now 499 other numbers you can hit. THIS MAKES ATTACK MORE IMPORTANT? See?
  15. Pretty sure you won't be able to do that, it will just take the old hits and multiply them by 10, so you can only hit in intervals of 10, not 1. Reread what the mod wrote on the blog. They made it like this for new players, as it was boring they could only hit 0's or 1's. Now they will be able to hit 1-10, as they will have 100hp to start with. In other words; IT WONT BE IN INTERVALS OF 10. I'm willing to bet cash on it.
  16. and prolly lower hits like 5 (0.5) Yes, and Yes. I think attack will reduce the amount of lower numbers you will hit. Strength will only raise the cap. This may make attack much more important, which can only be a good thing.
  17. The hp update doesn't make a HUGE difference. You wont be able to hit anymore than normal. Only less than normal. For example, you use to be able to hit 20 or 21, but now you can get 20.1, 20.2, 20.3, etc etc (times the number by 10). No new max hit. Just hits inbetween the normal hits.
  18. 100's is nothing, you could be killing 10,000's. Like everyone says, its random. They say switching between all the monsters that drop champion scrolls helps. I camped giants for a week, with nothing to show for it.
  19. No point in using blues before level 83 (89 is a big leap if you can wait). Granite lobsters are easier to get hold of (2nd wise) but you lose about 50 exp per charm normally or 100exp per charm on the day (give or take a few exp). Like I said in another post collect seconds which are easy to get and trade them for harder to get 2nds (raw bird meat, raw meat and raw rabbit for swamp lizards, banana's and so on). AS well as keeping your GE offers up-to-date. Ermm granite is near impossible to buy, I've been trying for 4 days and only obtained 1. My plan is to mine 1k granite if I cant buy (which it looks like), and use all the blues for obby titains (not the best exp, but the 2nds cost nothing, compared to the 2nd's of higher blue monsters which are all 6k+)
  20. i know you don't want an opinion but my opinion is that smelting gold is awesome <3 idk what guides you've been using but mine is awesome http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=tYLj4VK6eDYMp9ZOJ-zbwyA&output=html plain old smelting: i estimate 1300 gold ores per hour if it takes you 10 seconds to bank and run two and from the furnace theoretical maximum of 1500 superheating has a theoretical maximum of 2000 gold ores, with an expected rate of about 1800 may i also recommend superheating while mining gold ores @ living rock caverns? 50k mining, 40k smithing, and 35k magic xp/hour <3 Super heating is only like 1400 an hour at most. Trust me, I've got 63 smith from super heating iron only (quest from level 1 to level to smelt it).

  22. Brawlers from pvp drops, will they work with the experience weekend? I haven't seen any posts stating if they do or don't, so any help will be nice. Cooking a shark + Brawlers + x2 .7 = 99 cooking in a very short time.

  24. I noticed from talon beats you can get just over 1k exp a crimson when combined with the secondary; a talon beast charm. According to tip it these are got from temple trekking. My question is, how hard are they to get? how many could be obtained an hour? I've never done temple trekking, but the way I see it is. When we hit the bonus exp weekend, in the first hour you can get 70k summoning exp a invent making them. Thats atleast a million exp an hour.
