  1. A new series I'm working on via youtube. Reliving my Childhood Memories... Please check it out, and give me some constructive feedback! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JF3kMMhIT-U&list=PLC530AD71069EFF46&index=1&feature=plcp
  2. Mod Edit: Video removed I appreciate any constructive criticism. A like and a subscription would be appreciated further! ^_^
  3. Not sure if this was the right forum, if not feel free to move it for me. So I'm attempting to gain a presence on youtube, first with some videos from my recent backpacking; The 2nd and 3rd are the best! #1 http://youtube.com/watch?v=_BplXaU9X9I&fs=1&autoplay=1 #2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CqLuV0AtZsE&fs=1&autoplay=1 #3 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3b1yN_oiKiw&fs=1&autoplay=1 #4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mGKD-mrisgs&fs=1&autoplay=1 #5 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AEe3IsCjjPo&fs=1&autoplay=1 I'm thinking about starting a series on youtube. Something like "I'm Jamie, Ask me anything?" Where I answer peoples random problems in life, give advice, etc. I have a lot of free time at the moment, and I need to focus on something to keep me sane... What do you guys think?
  4. Well I'll hopfully have more time to train the skill soon. I'm debating if its worth spending all my points on xp till I can do the highest dungeon, then gain tokens them then for the weapons?
  5. This thread has gone off topic so much :/
  6. Oh man, I'm hoping someone can say this one or twenty more times. Its such a good point it needs to be said every other post. Lol its definately true though. I'm hoping they reduce it to 200k tokens or give more tokens per a game. I'm only level 45 in the skill, slowly giving up on it.
  7. Rofl, have you ever pked my friend? Maul with no special will be crap. Fast medium hits that outhit your opponents food > High slow hits that your enemy can eat away from. Ever seen a whip where it combo's 5 40+ hits in a row? gl eating that out. regular pking != friendly dms where people dont run when they run out of food and for those who bashed the guy saying corp halves non spears: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZcoi9wiSRc I don't think the max you can hit is 22 if there is no reduction, when you can punch 30s in that gear Lol what runescape are you playing? Regular pking = people willing to do anything for a kill, and anything to save themselves losing an items. This isn't runescape classic anymore bro where people would stay till death the majority of the time. If friendly dm's is your idea of regular pking, that isn't even really pking.
  8. Rofl, have you ever pked my friend? Maul with no special will be crap. Fast medium hits that outhit your opponents food > High slow hits that your enemy can eat away from. Ever seen a whip where it combo's 5 40+ hits in a row? gl eating that out. You've obviously never pked considering you thinking about a standard one weapon fight. Did you ever think about rushing with this mual? Or even using it as a secondary weapon like the people in free to play worked out with the range/2h combo. Lmao.
  9. Once you get to level 10, if that is your highest floor, reset. Your prestige will be 10. When you go back and do floors 1-10 again, you will get a 10 prestige bonus for each floor (1-10). I can give an example, but remember these xp are just rough predictions: Base xp for beating floor 1 - 50 Prestige 10 bonus - 1000 Average of both - 525 Base xp for beating floor 2 - 100 Prestige 10 bonus - 1000 Average of both - 550 .... Base xp for beating floor 9 - 600 Prestige 10 bonus - 1000 Average of both - 800 Understand? Yup, by reset you mean leave?
  10. Sorry but I still don't understand :/ So if the highest floor I can do is level 10 your saying the best way to get exp is doing level 1 then 2, then 3 etc... Once I reach the highest level I will have a prestige of 10, which means if I go do level 1 I'll get exp close to the level of 10 but obviously complete it quicker?
  11. That pic is epic. Bahaha, I support, QFC please? HAHAHA!!
  12. This had been said about 6 times already.
  13. I can't monitor the whole thread, but in terms of what weapon to buy first I think you need to look at it this way. What will you use it mostly for? Maul for high hits = PVP Rapier for fastest dps = trainning Longsword fast dps and very good base stats = mix of pvp and trainning imo. I'll no doubt be buying the longsword first. Then a sheild after.
  14. Yeah but as you get in the high floors, money is easier to obtain. When I was "raiding" at level 20 this guy in my party kept obtaining 100-150k coins each run by sell drops back to the trader. Some of the monsters actually drop lots of cash aswell, I killed this one warrior and it dropped 41k. Blue charms in the game sell for 13k alone (near 13k), and you can usually find atleast 8 a dungeon.
  15. We have no clue if these actually have specials. When the maul/whip came out we were never told they had specials. Infact when they came out we didn't even know they exsisted until people with the slayer level started killing the monsters. I'm guessing they will have specials as you'd expect the new 'magic longs' to have a special like the old one. They would be in the special attack guide. Nope, reread what I said. When those weapons first came out we were given no indication that they exsisted yet alone had specials. This could be exactly the same (I'm not saying they till definately have specials, I'm just suggesting dont rule it out). We don't know. Considering this skill goes up to a new level cap, I think the experience per an hour and tokens per an hour will be insanely high in the higher levels. (I'm talking 900k exp an hour which means 90k tokens an hour) in the 80-90's. I can't see the skill having low exp per an hour when you get past 80. However all that you and I've said are assumptions. You lose everything on a PvP world. On Bh+1 you keep it if its the highest alchable you've got. I hate training this 'new skill'. But, the rewards are a good incentive, even make's hawks dagger look weak :o. I consider this minigame as a 'bigger sc' that is supposedly a skill now. The sad part of these weapons is that they are only base hits, so not as effective in PvP as you might think. No surprise hits with a special. Well, these weapons have the capability to hit in the high 500's to low 700's quite easily. I'd be pretty surprised to see that coming. The warhammer has 30 more strength than a god sword. I'd say 700's are easily possible. And the high crush vs rune armour = easy ko's. Infact I hope they don't have specials because I think the base stats are more than enough to work well as pvp items. Cheapness compared to other items, untradeable so not everyone will have them, high stats. I think the speed of the warhammer will make or break it in terms of pking with it. Barrage + warhammer hit anyone?
  16. I already made a thread about the new weapons and armour that are actually useable outside of the dungeon...

  18. I don't think you people understand. Vesta longsword is currently 14m (it was 17-18m at one point I remember). It lasts 60 minutes of combat and is not resellable. Chaotic longsword costs 2m to recharge and doesnt disappear so is resellable after buying, and has better stats than a vesta longsword. It also lasts 10 hours compared to 60 minutes. Why wouldn't people use this? If you die and lose the vesta longsword, you go and buy another for 14 mil. If you die and lose the chaotic longsword, you go back to the dungeon and grind for god knows how long. And I don't think we're talking about a 2 hour trip to Jad. No because most people who pvp with these weps use +1 worlds, and you don't have to grind you can just buy them off players aswell I'm guessing (although they dont appear on the GE yet). Most armours are weak to crush (especially rune). Normal rune gear that most people wear in pvp is only like 120 crush defence vs the 165 crush and insane strength bonus it has. Good luck.

  20. Like I said the longsword is better than a vesta long (which costs around 17m - im not 100% up-to-date with prices). I'm thinking these will definately be new pvp weps.
  21. I thought this deserved its own topic for discussion as people have seemed to overlooked the rewards of the new "skill." Now forget the fact they need to be recharged and look at these items for a second. Chaotic Rapier - Nearly the same strength as a whip - Faster may be? Chaotic Longsword - More strength than a vesta longsword - ATLEAST half the price (more like 1/5 even after recharging a few times) - More crush/slash than a vesta longsword Chaotic Mual - +30 Strength more than a god sword - +167 Crush; highest crush ingame - corp anyone? - Two-handed or one handed? These items look insanely overpower for PVP. And the maul will definately be a new corp wep imo. Also the sheilds are going to be insane for bossing block 20% of certain attacks. Discuss. I have merged the topic "Gravite and Chaotic Equipment" with this one as the discussion in both is the same ~Carl_Dublin
  22. Hit level 26 in this last night. Its such a slow skill to train. The people complaining about the amount of tokens your getting think about it this way. At level 10 I was getting around 200-300 exp a game. At level 23 I was getting 1400 a game. So at level 80 you'd be expecting a large amount of exp a game, around... 90k a game anyone? Which means nearly 9k tickets a game. Still the prices of armour and stuff does seem high for the amount of tokens, but it doesn't seem THAT bad. I can see this skill taking a month for the first 99, let alone the the first 120.
  23. Thats only if your halfway through a dungeon, you lose the exp you'd gain from that dungeon.
  24. Gets harder as you get it up. At different levels you face different bosses that are different levels.
