SAVE Tookie
1. I thought you hated Bush  2. Genocide :? ? Genocide is something like racial cleansing I believe. Trying to make one race superior, like what Hitler did. But I don't think he should have had the death penalty. They should of let him live the rest of his life in prison, instead of what they did. lol I know what genocide is.. im simply wondering how he can call gang violence genocide.

When will people actually read what has already been posted  ? ANYONE can nominate ANYONE they want for the nobel prize. I just nominated my 12 year old brother... he's a legend now and deserves respect just because he's been nominated. Please, that means nothing.

Music/Movies your catharsis?
Without getting too detailed, basically the ancient Greeks would often go to play's in order to achieve a feeling of catharsis. What this is is a emotional cleansing of sorts, attend a play on death and in the tears you leave behind at the play, you can sort of deal with the death that you might have experienced. I know often people attend movies for the fun of it, but after the movie is over, do you often feel emotionally tied to it? That being said do you often end up musing for a while after the movie is over and your at home about what the movie talked about? Or do you ever want what the movie had (certain emotional ties between certain characters)? I liken it to listening to songs about breakup after breaking up with someone. Do movies often end up helping you deal with stuff that wouldn't have been brought up otherwise?

Emo
I suggest you don't even bother.. he's one of those people who in their minds can't ever be wrong. Now back to the topic.. I personally have no problem with emo music myself. I don't listen to it personally, but I don't necessarily hate it either. Sure, at times the genre can have a negative message, but doesn't almost every genre? I know pooper brought up metal and rap earlier about how they don't sing about suicide. Well in my opinion, rap talks about raping women and doing drugs, its completely bad. Same with metal, all they talk about it hate, demonic worship, and sacrificial rituals. *note: I am only making a stupid generalization like everyone else has about emo The only think I don't really like about emo are the kids who listen to it to be cool or trendy, but as I already noted, don't almost all genre's have/experience that (at least the one's who might possibly make you more acceptalbe to whomever you hang with)? And while I don't exactly go along with some of emo's messages, some are thought provoking and not just the result of depression in some kid. *theature of the absurd*.

Lesser Known Bands
Echo and the Bunnymen.. they were popular in the 80's, since they they've fallen into obscurity with cd's mainly being found at independent record stores. So your definition of underground depends on this one The Locust? Electric Light Orchestra: They have a few well known songs from the 70's, but ask someone about them and expect a look like this: :?

Survivor Winner
Yah its actually rather comical.. on one part of the screen it says "live" yet right below that usually it will say (taped previously) or (previously taped) . :P I didn't really care about seeing who won.. I never watch the show in the first place.
-
Survivor Winner
So you watched two seasons? How boring... (this has been the eleventh by the way, not tenth) Er...this post happened after Danni won... :? Not everyone lives in your timezone... unless it was synchronized through timezones, but I doubt it. If so, disregard this post. It was live, but since you gave a disclaimer I can't make fun of you :P Plus, even if it wasn't live - you shoudl know that its been announced somewhere and so you shouldn't open a post titled "Survivor Winner" and not expect the name of the person inside. :P Over here on the west coast in california.. its on right now :? . Its only "live" for those that live on the east coast.

School gets sued for sexual orientation discrimination
This is a very pointless argument. ATL is never going to understand what Ghost is saying... It just keeps going in circles. I agree.. someone *coughATLcough* needs to swallow their pride and admit they were wrong... and actually stick with their conclusion this time  .

SAVE Tookie
Are you serious?? Big deal he couldn't get welfare, he had no money or a job and he had people after him  . Lets think.. why would he have people after him? Most likely because of illicit drug deals and various gang related violence... thats his fault. As for his lack of food and a job.. please. I know that homeless shelters provide free food no matter how much you make. As for a job, I know that at my church (and my past churches and what not) will provide a job to anyone should they need one. Sure its not a huge administrative job, but should you need something to get onto your feet, you can. You don't have to kill people in order to survive. Haha blinded by societies lies? Please.. that sounds copy and pasted from a lyrics sight of some random rapper. If you want insight into social ill's.. read book's such as Metamorphosis or Grapes of Wrath.. but echoing the clique's of "society" does nothing to make you appear intelligent. I reallyy don't see what your getting at. Your information is nothing but half truths and doing nothing but discrediting those who do believe theres some unanswered questions about 9-11. First of all.. the first bombings happened in 1993, not 1990 as you suggested. Secondly, yes Bin Laden once "worked" for the CIA but did you give the reason why? No it wasn't so the U.S. could attack ourselves and blame it on islamic extremists to start wars in the middle east. He originally "worked" for us because at the time, the united states and soviet russia were engaged in the cold war. Russia then decided to invade Afganistan, the country where Bin precided. In order to stop the spread of communism, the u.s. decided to fund various gurilla's in the region in their fight against the russians. He happened to be one of them. Thirdly, I believe the "mason's" you are refering to are an organisation by the name of the "freemason's". This "group" was not founded by Bush.. it was founded in the 1600's  . And while now it is a secret society with rituals.. it does NOT conduct human sacrifice. If im correct (not 100% sure).. Bush isn't even a Masonic member, though various members he might considered to be linked to may be. If your going to enter the world of political conspiracy theory's.. please be able to separate fact from bunk. Posting obvious fallicies only seeks to discredit those with justifiable reasonings. *Btw*.. Before you flame me as being some sort of capitalistic pig brainwashed by a corrupt system.. I too believe there are some secrets about 9-11 that are only told behind closed doors.. but what you posted, come on..

Putfile says goodbye to Singapore
Its one thing to be against the death penalty.. but to go so far and restrict any use of your services in a country that might happen to use a particular version you don't agree with is just plain lame. I think Singapore's government is now going to change their death penalty laws.

History's most influential inventions
people can use the internet for what ever that pleases them, its not for you to decide what people can do. i find metal to be pretty useful, i guess the first bronze that was made was pretty cool. humans didn't invent "metal"... i guess you could say the processes for extracting the ore though.

Intelligent design opponent victim of roadside beating.
1.But this isn't politics. In science, there IS a right answer, and a wrong answer. Either Newton's theory of gravity could correcly predict Mercury's orbital deviation or it couldn't. Either the Michaelson-Morley experiment proved the theory of ether or it didn't. Evolution can be disproved thus by pointing out a chimaera, or a population which is not in Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium but still does not change. 2.Intelligent Design CANNOT be disproven, it does not belong in the science class, it should not even be mentioned as "an opposing theory". 1. In science you would know, there are unknowns. When observations/conclusions/and theories are made about those unknowns, we cannot quickly assume that they are right because they appear right. In science, there are some areas where there is not a right and wrong answer only because not enough is known to really make a definite conclusion. 2. Almost how evolution can't be tested? :? 1. Right... it doesn't necessarily point to the Christian god... except that to join the Discovery Institute (where the idea of IDiocy came from), you must be a Bible believer. 2.Ever notice that there aren't any non-Christians that promote IDiocy?3. And life forms are NOT too complex, lmao.4. And, Intelligent Design fails to explain the nature of the creator, who created the creator, ad inifinitum? It doesn't predict anything, it is not science, how many times do I have to reiterate this? 5.Intelligent Design... yeah, it's so brilliant that virus and so many other pathogens were perfectly created for us huh? 1. Just because the origin of the idea can from a place where you must believe in the bible, does not mean that this is the same for all other cases. The rules of the source does not translate into the laws of all others. 2. While I wouldn't state that there "arn't any" non-Christians that believe in ID, the majority of ID believers are Christian. Also, ID is most relavent to Christianity, its almost apologetics in a way. Then again, I haven't seen very many non-Christian apologetical arguements. Im not saying they arn't out there, just I haven't come across any. 3. So when do life forms "become too complex" in your views? It doesn't matter as its only subjective truth.. that is truth pending upon your views and not on fact. Saying that life forms "arn't too complex" has no relavency, as it's impossible to really state when they have become too complex. After carefully examining the process of dna replication and the inter-cellular motor required to move the flagellum in many unicellular organisms, I have come to that conclusion. Obviously you have not. 4. And evolution does? Please.. :? 5. Im not God and I can't state why he did or didn't create certain organisms. When considering pathogens, a few have said that its God's way of testing mankind, or his way of punishing certain people, or his way of making sure certain species don't overbreed... I really can't say.

eh, hardly objective. I like http://www.talkorigins.org/ much better. meh i must say, their video's and museum is much better :? ... i just posted that out of possiible interest for some people, not to take their claims as my own argue ments about evolution

Facial hair/shaving
Heh im turning 18 in april and im just wierd... my facial hair isn't black, so it can't be classified as peach fuzz. Yet at the same time, I have to shave every few days as it grows like normal hair.. just twice as slow. On top of all that, I have these few random freak hairs that have turned black and grow like weeds.
